Sol Mate (récemment rénové) a été décrit comme «la maison de vacances idéale» sur l’île de Captiva, en Floride. Il convient particulièrement aux visiteurs familiaux de grande taille et multigénérationnels, ou aux petits groupes qui aiment BEAUCOUP d’espace. Sol Mate Trop adjacent à Sol Mate, pourra accueillir une réunion de famille de 20 personnes et est parfait pour les réunions de famille au bord de la plage! Jetez un coup d'œil à Sol Mate Too pour que toute la famille supplémentaire se joigne au FUN et aux souvenirs de SUNNY Captiva Island!

Cette maison a la disposition parfaite, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur: confortable, efficace et facile pour tout le monde. Cela pourrait être le modèle de la conception et de l'aménagement d'une maison de plage. Et l’emplacement est idéal également: directement sur la plage dans un quartier peu construit (pas de parking public), près de la bibliothèque Captiva et à quelques pas des restaurants, des magasins et des activités du centre du village de Captiva.

Le Sol Mate fait face à une grande partie de la plage de Captiva, célèbre pour son sable blanc, ses jolis coquillages, son eau tiède du golfe du Mexique et son soleil abondant. Une courte promenade mène directement sur le sable - il est donc facile de faire la navette entre la maison et la plage. Une rampe d'accès complète avec des rampes espacées de 28 pouces mène à un chemin de plage ou à l'aire de stationnement. C'est parfait pour une entrée sans escalier ou juste pour rouler dans les bagages.

Vous pouvez passer tout votre temps Captiva sur la plage ou profiter des nombreuses autres activités de Captiva (dont certaines sont facilement accessibles à pied). De nombreux porches blindés confortablement meublés et une terrasse ensoleillée au bord de la plage offrent une vue imprenable sur le golfe du Mexique et les célèbres couchers de soleil sur Captiva.

Sol Mate possède une belle cour devant la plage avec des raisins de la mer et des palmiers. Une nouvelle nouveauté est le tiki hut avec douche chaude / froide et rinçage pour les pieds, idéalement situé à votre retour de la plage sur le trottoir. Le pont de la plage est meublé avec un banc et des chaises de plage, et le gril à gaz est situé ici.

Great House

Only drawback was no pool but being right on the beach was great and the layout is perfect for a big group. Everything is updated except for the bedrooms which are little old and tired.

Absolutely the BEST

This year we had family members from CAlifornia,Colorado, Virginia and Miami--our grown grandchildren refuse to go elsewhere!! We've also rented many houses on the island but Sol Mate is by far our favorite. It is beautifully decorated, designed to bring people together, has a fabulous kitchen, an almost private beach and yet is located close to everything you might want to do! It is always immaculate and the staff couldn't be nicer to work with. It is a gem -- we had a fabulous week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of Sol Mate is absolutely perfect. All the families enjoyed the spacious layout. The outdoor shower was the most popular place to rinse off after spending time at the beach. It was even more popular when a shower was needed.The inside of Sol Mate could use some sprucing up. We were told in November that painting the inside would be happening in a couple weeks(never happened). The master downstairs’ sink, the hot and cold are reversed. The window in the dining room leaked. The furniture could use some updating.Outside there was an festation of caterpillars.There was also a bee nest in the tree next to the driveway.

THERE WERE THREE GENERATIONS OF US FROM FOUR DIFFERENT STATES AND THE HOUSE ACCOMMODATED OUR NEEDS BEAUTIFULLY. IT'S DECORATED SO TASTEFULLY AND DESIGNED FOR COMFORT AND INTERACTION. THE KITCHEN IS A DREAM--TWO SINKS, TWO DISHWASHERS AND TWO REFRIGERATORS AND UNBELIEVABLE CABINET SPACE AND ENDLESS KITCHEN SUPPLIES AND COOKWARE. (THE ONLY THING WE WERE UNABLE TO FIND WAS A MEAT THERMOMETER!) THE SCREENED-IN PORCHES, OUR PRIVATE BOARD WALK TO THE BEACH LITERALLY RIGHT OUT THE FRONT DOOR, A SHORT WALK TO ANDY ROSSE,THE TIKI HUT SHOWER--WERE ALL WONDERFUL!! I DON'T THINK THERE'S A BETTER HOUSE OR LOCATION ON THE ISLAND--WE'VE ALREADY MADE OUR RESERVATION FOR NEXT YEAR. CAPTIVA IS DEFINITELY "BACK" AND AS BEAUTIFUL AS EVER. (AND AMERICAN REALTY COULDN'T BE NICER TO WORK WITH!!)

Happy to be Back on Captiva!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Absolutely loved our recent stay at Sol Mate! Being our first trip back since Ian, we were concerned about what the condition of the island and the property might be. Although much of the island vegetation is still in recovery, we were pleasantly surprised that this property and much of the surrounding area landscaping was in good shape. The house was really nice - great location, beachfront with beautiful Gulf views from the upper and lower levels and close to the heart of the island with shopping and dining options. The kitchen is well equipped with nice appliances (including two dishwashers) and there is a new gas grill outside. All bathrooms have been recently remodeled. And the layout is perfect for multiple couples/families with separated bedrooms/bathrooms and centrally located common areas. We were glad to see that the outdoor shower and boardwalk to the beach are still intact. Additionally, there was beach equipment available, including multiple (8-10) new beach chairs and a beach umbrella. We’ve been so happy using American Realty of Captiva for the last 20 years. Lisa Wheeler and her staff have been awesome! We can’t wait to return to the island to enjoy the beautiful beach, awesome shelling, and gorgeous sunsets, and we will definitely stay at this property again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was very clean as before. The A/C went out once in the evening, and a repairman was there within an hour and fixed it. Very good service. The location is perfect, easy access to the beach, beautiful view and very well maintained and the unit had all the necessary amenities, excellent kitchen equipment, etc.The matresses were very comfortable, all though the bedroom on the ground floor didn't seem as cool as the other rooms. As for the temperatures, the main floor was very cool and the upstairs was warmer. That's to be expected, but it was necesssary to keep the units a little cooler than I would have liked to accomodate the upstairs as well.In summary, this is an excellent rental property, very well maintained, first class, ample kitchenware, lightening, everything in perfect condition.

Wonderful Week in Paradise

Our family of ten thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful property! The whole rental & check-in process was easy & my email to the property manager with questions about amenities was answered quickly & in detail. The location of this beach house was excellent & we were able to walk to many restaurants & attractions. All in all it was a perfect week!

How many of the ones under the house we’re in really bad shape.Again, we had an overall fantastic experience and look forward to coming back next year. With those changes, it would have been a perfect score.

Great Vacation!

This was a great home for our vacation with friends. We were a little disappointed that the rooms were not contacted to bathrooms but we did not let that hinder our vacation nor would it prevent us from using this house again. Overall a great location and place to stay!
