This property was amazing! We loved the rooms and the available space. The open dining, kitchen, and living space made an amazing workspace for the week.Everyone voted it the best place weâve stayed for this purpose in the last 4 years.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lovely property. The Coco Plum part of Marathon is quiet, which is just we wanted. The property has a nice dock and we saw lots of manatees and other wildlife from it. The pool was just right and the outdoor setup was ideal. The interior is nicely laid out and comfortable. With a house this size, it was great to have two refrigerators. We would definitely stay here again.
This property was exactly as it was stated and then some!
It contained everything a family of 11 would need for a completely relaxing stay - beautiful location, top of the line appliances and many beach towels which were not listed as available. Only negative was the steep front porch steps with no handrail which caused my husband to fall.
Dates 02/02/24 - 02/10/24 -- 13 of us stayed at this house which met all of our needs. The house was very comfortable and spacious. Everyone had their own bedroom/bathroom which was awesome. The communication on this property was excellent. We experience a few minor issues, but they addressed them immediately. We saw Manatees and Dolphins at the dock and did some fishing off the dock. We enjoyed watching the boats passing through the canal. Although the weather could have been warmer while we were there, we did get a chance to enjoy the pool which was heated. We did a walk into town which was 1.5 miles to Island Fishery, which was probably our favorite place to eat. The area we were in was less congested and quiet. There was an area at the end of our street you could walk to for the Sunrise. Would definitely recommend this house for large groups. We all really enjoyed the place.
The experience was GREAT! Just 2 suggestions: 1. They need a wifi booster/extender because the wifi on the 2nd and more so 3rd floor was very poor.
2. A pool water chiller/cooler would have been worth paying an extra charge for.
This house was great for our 3 families of 4 and we never felt cramped or short on space. The staff at the agency was very responsive to the few things we needed and did a great job ensuring our stay was nice. Wonderful dock and there are a lot of charter boats that go by in the morning and afternoons that you can sit and watch go by. We would stay in the house again.
The property was great. The view and privacy hedges made it seem like a private getaway. All the appliances were modern and the kitchen was top notch. There actually were pots that were sized to accommodate cooking for larger groups. There were 12 of us. The bedrooms were comfortable and well appointed. Overall the best place we have stayed in the Keys and we have been comiing down yearly for over 10 years.
Size of house was great. Pool was great. Dock was great. Kitchen, great room was good. Supplies for tubs, garbage cans on skimpy size. Would stay again easily though.
This is a great property. Ever bedroom has its own bathroom. Common area/kitchen is very large to accommodate the whole group. It has 2 fridges which is so nice. Location is great. Few minutes to open water, private across the canal. You can watch other boats go by!
Criticisms... there was literally one towel per person and no pool towels. There is also nothing supplied beyond bar soap and tiny shampoo/conditioner bottles. No extra garbage bags, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels. NOTHING! Every other Keys house I have stayed at has things other people have left behind, such as laundry soap they didnt end up using. Just be prepared to bring EVERYTHING. I wish I knew this ahead of time. There are also only thin blankets on the beds and no extra blankets. I was told this was due to COVID and it may be, but then I was made to feel needy/excessive when I asked for extras.
All that being said, this is a great property and I have actually booked again for next year. The negatives I just wish I knew ahead of time and then it wouldnt have been a problem.
Dont hesitate to book!
We enjoyed our stay. The house is big and beautiful. The beds were comfy and clean and the bathrooms were clean and nice. The house is off the beaten path (quiet and secluded, which we loved), on the canal with a dock and we watched lots of interesting water wildlife. The pool is amazing; warm and clean. There were 10 of us and plenty of room to hang out together in the great room or on the patio and comfortable bedrooms when it was time to get away from each other. There is a big kitchen with two refrigerators (not a gourmet kitchen so don't plan to cook elaborate meals because the kitchen accoutrements are a little light). We used the blender for drinks; yet the frying pan wasn't deep enough to make hash browns. A lot of the coffee mugs have chipped rims, so be careful when you're drinking your morning coffee. We used the grill a couple of times and that was nice. Bring your own beach towels, don't forget salt and pepper and you'll need to buy toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap and a sponge for washing dishes if your stay includes eating at home and washing laundry. Interestingly, you will be asked to put laundry in the washer before you leave, so you'd better have laundry soap. We would stay again if we were ever in the Keys again with that many people. We loved it (but we would come better equipped). We needed the property manager for one small detail and she was good enough to get back to us after hours with an answer to our question. Thank you for that!
We traveled with three other families with teenage kids. There's plenty of space to spreadout without feeling overcrowded. The pool is an amazing oasis to chill out and relax. Great view of the water off the dock. You can sit on the pool deck and watch boats drift by. The location is pretty secluded and very quiet.
