We really enjoyed the amazing view of the smilies and comfort of this home. It was far enough away from the city to relax but close enough if you wanted to pop on for a bit you could.
Had a great stay with my family over Christmas. There was plenty of room for my large family of grown children. The pool table, video game, foosball and air hockey allowed us to make some cool memories. There hot tub was relaxing at the end of the day. Would love to stay there again.
The view from the balcony is really beautiful, but you can only see the mountains from one corner of the porch because the trees have grown so high.
The âstarter packâ came with a couple rolls of toilet paper. We only stayed 3 nights and had to go buy more because we ran out!
They also only give you a few towels, which are scratchy and barely cover your butt. Definitely not enough towels to use after the hot tub and shower, if you want to use a clean towel. We went to wash all the towels in the basement⊠but no laundry detergent provided!! So we had to go to food city to buy some ourselves.
Kitchen: lots of plates, cups, and mugs, but not a single spice to cook with. No salt or pepper?! Bears are not going to break in for salt and pepper, come on now.
Basement bedroom: cool that thereâs a pool and foosball table, but it was musty and dingy and I was having major allergies down there. The sheets and pillows were scratchy too. When we stripped the sheets, there were a bunch of dead bugs underneath the fitted sheets.
With all of this in mindâthis felt like motel or lodge quality, and the $389 per night was 100% not worth it. We were pretty disappointed in this property.
Property needs a good cleaning, several things need replaced, faucet in tub upstairs is about to fall off, clock in downstairs bed room would not able to set time. toaster needs replaced. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I and my siblings enjoyed our stay at Blue Smoke. It was perfect for the needs of three single adults. It could easily accommodate multiple couples or a family. We found the kitchen well stocked for preparing meals in-house. There was plenty of room for hanging out or playing games.
The view...Did I mention the view? It was one of the best after renting multiple times in the Smokies. The back porch was perfect for gathering and enjoying the mountains.
Blue Smoke was well located. It was very near the craft loop, grocery, and Gatlinburgâs many restaurants and attractions. Although we didnât use it, Blue Smoke was also convenient if you wanted to take the trolley into town. It was also possible to get to the National Park while avoiding the worst of the traffic.
Location, accommodations and views made Blue Smoke perfect for our stay.
Far exceeded all expectations!
View was FANTASTIC!
Space was Great for a family. On rainy days, kids enjoyed all the activities downstairs.
Clean and ready for us. Sitting on the porch every morning, looking at the mountains was unlike nothing else.
Close to grocery store (8 min)
Close to National park (15-30 min) Depending on traffic.
Wood burning fireplace was excellent on the chilly nights.
NOTHING NEGATIVE TO SAY!!!! WILL STAY AGAIN!!!
We came to relax and get some fresh air in the mountains. The cabin is cute and private. We had a great time. Sadly the weather (which no one can control) kept us from doing the things we planned, but it helped us get our relaxation.
We booked Blue Smoke at the last-minute for a weekend get away. Comfortable, clean, and just what we wanted! Enjoyed the hot tub and game room downstairs.
