The property was in pristine condition and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dishes, towels, even an extra quilt for warmth.
The location couldnât be beat if youâre interested in enjoying the Kickapoo River or simply dropping into a sweet Wisconsin small town vibe.
Staci, the property owner, was available and more than helpful. Offering passes to the Reserve and in easy contact for any questions that needed answering.
We look forward to returning!
Immaculately clean apartment, everything is bright, shiny, and new. Very nice location within easy walking distance to restaurants, convenience store, and canoeing outfitters. Short drive to great fishing, Amish farms, and Wildcat State Mountain for hiking and sightseeing. Staci is a wonderful and gracious host !
My name is Staci and my husband and I have owned the Driftwood Inn Motel since 2008. We live in town and enjoy spending time in the outdoors. This makes Ontario a great place to live because it is close to so many great outdoor activities.
The apartment was constructed in 2019 as another option for travelers that come to visit the Kickapoo Valley. It is conveniently located adjacent to the Driftwood Inn Motel, but has plenty of space and privacy. The apartment has everything that you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. You can kick back and relax on the couch and watch some tv between your canoe trip down the river and hike at the Reserve, hang out on the private patio, or cook a wonderful meal in the full sized kitchen.
This property is in a great location. It is located in downtown Ontario, Wisconsin so you can walk to the gas station, Wildcat Mountain Bar and Grill and RiversEnd Bar and Grill for some snacks or great food. It is also 2 blocks from the Kickapoo River and many great canoe liveries, 1 mile from Wildcat Mountain State Park, 5 miles from the Kickapoo Valley Reserve, minutes from several Amish shops and greenhouses, within 20 miles of several small breweries and wineries, and 10 miles from the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail.
