Outstanding Stay in Villa Alamos Park

A wonderful stay, the villa is a pure delight and very much served the purpose of our little excursion, this was to celebrate my mothers 70th birthday with family - all had a simply fabulous time, the location of san blas, los Abrigos and the transport links to Los Cristianos/Americas was great.

We had the most amazing time celebrating our mum’s 70th birthday. The villa was the perfect place for our whole family to come together and celebrate such a special occasion. The extra space easily met the needs of our group and created a fantastic party room for everyone to enjoy. The pool is divine and was a huge hit with all of us.Any questions we had or extras we needed were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The team also supported us with booking airport transfers, which was an excellent service. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Great family holiday!

Had a lovely stay at Villa Alamos Park. We were a family of 20 and used the villa, annexe and apartment, which was ideal! The huge pool was amazing and the outside shaded lounge area was used constantly. Shops, bars and restaurants are a short walk away and plenty of taxis if needed. The host, Jon, was very quick at answering any questions we had and even managed to let us check in early , which we were so thankful for.

Lovely spacious villa

Loads of space, brilliant big pool (could do with being heated but we just about managed) all the kitchen bits and bobs supplied. Main house was superb, pool house although designed to be a bit more rustic could do with a bit of a tidy up. Would definitely book again

Thank you for the 5 star review. We are so pleased you had a wonderful stay at what we believe, is a very unique villa. The main part of the villa (5 bedrooms) is all new. The adjoining 2 bed annex has been kept as traditionally and tastefully rustic. And if required the 3 bed apartment within the grounds is also brand new. Thank you for being a lovely guest. We are very happy to hear you would like to return and we look forward to seeing you again.

Sept 2023

We had a great 10 days at the villa. It was very spacious with a good size pool. The villa its self could do with a bit of TLC but I think this is the case with most of them with the experience I've had. The area is quite but there are plenty restaurants and bars within walking distance. One thing I would mention is the tiles around the pool can be very slippery when wet so be careful. Also you are in the flight path so you do get the planes overhead but this didn't really bother us. Overall we had a great holiday like most thing its what you make of it.

Thank you for the review. We are so pleased you had a great holiday. The villa was fully refurbished 2 years ago and has been very popular ever since. After a busy season, we agree, the paintwork did need some touching up in parts and we did this straight after you left. (We are sorry we weren't able to do this before). Subsequently the guest who stayed 7th to 14th Oct (immediately after you) gave a 5 star review on VRBO. The resort is located a 15 min drive from the airport so you will be aware of planes in the sky but as you said it does not bother guests at all. Thank you for being great guests. We really enjoyed being of service to you and look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Lovely and Spacious villa

This Villa was absolutely lovely, we were a big party and it never felt cramped at all. The outside area was just perfect, a lovely comfortable seating area under shade, dining tables in numerous places, sunbeds and the pool was fantastic! We couldn't get the kids out! Really useful touches such as washing up liquid sponge, tea towels, hand soap, towels and a pump for the inflatables were great. Short walk to restuarants and shops including a small supermarket. Really quiet location which was lovely for us! We hired a car which we found useful to visit nearby places. Only small negative I could say is it would of been useful to have a manual in the villa itself, although the app was good, instructions for the oven, washing machine, trips etc would of been useful and the hot water took a while to come through but once it did showers were fab! Overall we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this villa and would happily stay again! :-)

Thoroughly enjoyable family holiday

We had a group of 9 adults staying for a week at this villa during an unprecedented heatwave/ windy week in July. The villa itself is extremely spacious, however the layout can seem a bit unconventional for some, but this is more than made up for by the sheer size of the accomodation and the incredible pool and outdoor area. Our only issue was the lack of air conditioning, which did mean the rooms were a bit toasty overnight, but we agreed that with fans (of which there were some already in the villa and others we brought after reading similar aircon-relsted reviews) and in not such unprecedented heat this would not normally be an issue. As other reviews have stated, this villa is on the flight path of incoming planes to Tenerife South Airport, and while the noise may cause issues for some, we had a blast watching the incoming planes and making games out of it. The area the villa is in is lovely, there are plenty of local bars and restaurants, and even more less than a 20 minute car journey away in either Las Americas or Costa Adeje. Carlos the manager was very easy to communicate with and sorted our requests promptly, and we had an absolutely brilliant holiday here.

Amazing Spacious Villa

We booked this Villa for my 50th Birthday and hired all 3 Villas. The Villa is so spacious that it did not feel that you were on top of one another and you could find a quiet space if you wanted to.The villa is very clean and comes with ample pool towels. We were lucky with the weather so spent most of our time outside however there was ample room for our guests in the main villa as well. The kitchens are well equipped for the number of people although we did eat out most of the time. The pictures do not do the listing justice the pool is a lot bigger than we imagined although a little chilly when you first get in the body soon adapts and it is a pleasant experience the pool even had games that were in the pool / Drying house. It is also nice that you are in a street on your own for my actual birthday an ABBA Tribute band was hired in and the villa is so set up for this and looked amazing. The villa is located about 10 minutes from the San Blas Square where there are a variety of bars and restaurants we would highly recommend La Taberna the food and service are exceptional, The Emerald Sports bar is great for a stop of and watch any sports or just relax and have a drink.Communication with the owner from start to finish has been outstanding answering any questions I had and reassured me at all times. If you are looking for a villa for a large party I would recommend Villa Alamos great area and close to all amenities.

Fantastic location & property but in need of some TLC

We had a great week away with our family and extended family. The location is perfect in Golf-del-Sur, a short walk to the restaurants, bars and Hyperdino supermarket. The facilities in the kitchen were great & we had all the utensils/fridge & freezer space we needed. The layout of the villa is quite quirky. The pool area is lovely, gets the sun all day and had ample seating /sun bed space. The property overall is huge, we hired the full property including the 3 bed apartment, it could be absolutely fantastic but is in desperate need of some renovation and just a few more homely touches. There are a lot of broken & knocked around furniture, in one of the rooms the wardrobe had been built incorrectly & wasn’t functional. We are thankful we didn’t have to use the traditional annexe in all honesty as it smelt so strongly of sewage/drains and then we realised there was a manhole cover inside one of the cupboards in the living space. The space would be better used as a communal space/games room, it’s a huge space with so much potential and felt wasted with its current use. The space outside of the 3 bed apartment & barbecue area again could be fantastic but it was poorly lit, dirty & bags of broken glass inside the cupboards. I really do not like to complain at all and despite having quite a few bug bearers on the trip we did make the most of our stay. I think we just felt disappointed as it’s a fantastic property with so much potential & felt sad by how run down it has gotten.

Thank you for the review. We are so pleased you had a great week away with your family and describe the villa as a "fantastic property". We respect all our clients views and opinions and indeed will act on their feedback (where appropriate) in order to improve our guests experience. The main part of the villa was completely refurbished in late 2021. The 3 bed apartment was only built in 2022. The 2 bed annex is rustic style but in keeping with Canarian tradition. We are sorry about the smell you reported - there was a blocked due to previous guests putting wet wipes down the toilet - and this is now resolved. The guests before you were a large group who hugely mistreated the villa. The cleaners had a terrible job trying to clean it for your arrival. We are very sorry that in the rush to prepare it that they overlooked some damage the guests had made (i.e. they broke the wardrobe). We did not hear from you at all during your stay so assumed that you were having a great stay. Not that you should have too but one call to us and we can have immediately resolved any of the issues you outlined. Our friendly staff are available to our guests throughout their stay. It is a magnificent villa - quite unique - and as you say its also in a great location. Our review score is very high and we are very confident that it will continue to be so. Thank you for staying and we hope to help you again in the future.

Perfect Villa & location for large family with mixed ages and abilities

Couldn’t have asked for a better location and layout for 14 (+ 1 infant) family. We set the alarm off accidently on our first night and the owner couldn’t have been more understanding when they were contacted at 2am to disconnect it!! Cringe.... The Villa has a fantastic private, large swimming pool which was cleaned and maintained throughout our stay. The communal areas, inside and out, where large and spacious which allowed for time out for individuals. In our family we had all ages from 2-52 years old. Also mixed physical and learning disabilities within that age bracket. The locals and retailers in Golf de Sur, San Blas were extremely friendly and catered for our every need, with patience and kindness. The quality of food and service in the restaurants was next to none that we had experienced before. All were equally exceptional. However, I wish to give a special mention and thanks to the Punjabi restaurant Bombay Dreams, Orange Giraffe, Mr Cool’s hire shop and everyone else that made our holiday experience perfect. With such a large family, it wasn’t surprising one member took unwell and needed to contact the local medical centre for treatment (Golf Medical Center, San Blas). The standard of care they received was excellent, enhanced by the genuine compassion and empathy from both the nurse and the doctor. I could go on and on how amazing our time was here. Just a couple of hints – at least one member of group should rent a car, ask for more pillows, order air conditioning from Mr Cool before arrival. Loved every moment, unforgettable in every way. Thank you Jon 😊.

A fantastic family holiday! We were 8 adults and 8 children and loved our time in the villa. Outdoors: We had the main house as well as the separate annex. The outside space and pool area was fantastic. Plenty of seating, beds and shaded areas around the pool. The BBQ area was also fantastic with a large table to seat us all. Indoors: All bedrooms had storage and, whilst the layout was quirky, we appreciated that each double room had a bathroom. This worked well for us as four families travelling together. The kitchen was new and clean but we found it quite poorly equipped. There was definitely enough plates for our party but we bought extra cups (plastic for the children) chopping boards, tea towels and sharp knives. Location: We loved the villa's location on a quiet, residential street. A short 10 minute walk away was the supermarket which we used daily. There are several restaurants and bars set around a small pedestrian square in San Blas. Host: we found Jon to be extremely helpful and professional. He replied to any questions I had promptly and offered lots of advice when we asked. The information provided was accurate and helpful and the check-in process was simple and straightforward. The only "con" we had was that the villa does not have aircon. A fan for each bedroom was provided which we really appreciated, however it was quite uncomfortable through the night as we visited in July. The villa would benefit from a general refresh i.e painting and DIY.

Thank you for the glowing, 5 star review. I am so pleased you enjoyed the villa, the space it offers and its location. We will be re-decorating the villa once the busy summer period is over. With the fans and the sea breeze, that this resort benefits from, we've never felt too warm in the summer. Thank you for being such wonderful guests. It was a pleasure to host you and I hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Thank you for the review. I am so pleased you had such a great stay at the villa. There is a location map on the advert and yes, because the villa is 20 minutes away from the airport you will be aware of planes in the sky. But most of our guests much prefer the peacefulness and prettiness of the resort, with the odd plane flying over, rather than being in some of the busier / more commercial resorts with constant noise from bars, nightclubs, traffic and etc. You had 22 people in your party and I did say we were very concerned that you would not fit in the villa. I was completely unaware that a couple moved out to a hotel but I am not surprised as there was not enough beds for them. (The villa sleeps 20). We can't find a coffee machine that serves 20 people I am afraid. If we hear from clients during there stay we will always be available. We were happy to arrange a nearby hotel for you to use for free on your last day, whilst you waiting for your late flight home (we had guests arriving the same day). Apart from hearing from you about arrangements for your last day, we did not receive any correspondence from you at all during your stay. Had you been in contact we would have done all we could to ensure you were as comfortable as possible. We will always offer our guests the very best of service. We thank you for staying with us and thank you for your constructive comments. We do hope we can be of assistance to you again in the future.

LA CASA Y LA UBICACIÓN ESTUPENDO PARA MUCHA GENTE. LA PISCINA MUY LIMPIA, PERO NO NOS AVISARON POR LA LIMPIEZA DE LA PISCINA. DE REPENTE ESTABA UNA PERSONA DENTRO. NO NOS GUSTÓ MUCHO. LA INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA FATAL, PARA NINOS UN PELIGRO. LA LIMPIEZA SEGÚN FOTOS EN ALGUNAS COSAS MAL Y EL ESTADO DE LA CASA PARA MEJORAR. EN GENERAL DISFRUTAMOS LAS VACACIONES. MUCHAS GRACIAS

Thank you for the 4 star review. Having spoken to you, I know how much you enjoyed the villa and what a wonderful holiday you had. I am afraid that for a weeks stay, the pool man will need to visit twice in order to keep the pool clean and safe for our guests. He knocks on the door every time he visits but if people are by the pool sometimes they don't hear, so he walks around to the pool area - calling "hola". We can't do any more than that. I am very sorry that you feel the cleaning was not up to our normal high standards. That is very unusual as our cleaning marks are very high. We did have a large group of young people before you who left the villa in a terrible state and then you arrived 2 hours early so the cleaners did feel pressure to finish quickly. We believe the villa offers fantastic and very versatile accommodation in a great location at a superb price. On top of this all our guests will receive the very best of service. Thank you for staying and being nice guests. We hope that many further holiday makers come and enjoy the villa.

Thank you for the review. I am so glad that you describe the villa as "beautiful" and that you found it very clean and comfortable. The villa is not advertised as having a heated pool. Fortunately the weather is normally so warm that it is not required. Thank you for being lovely guests. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.

Thank you for the review. The main villa has been totally refurbished to a very high standard. I can only think you are referring to the 2 bed annex which is finished in a rustic style. We appreciate all constructive comments from our guests but despite our staff offering you excellent service ,we did find you a difficult client to please The clients who arrived 2 days after your departure rated the villa as 5 star, as did the clients just before you. I am sure there will be many more 5 star reviews to come.
