Enjoyed the stay. Plenty of room for a gathering of family. 3 bedrooms plus a large closet turned into a bedroom. No windows of course. Our main complaints were that the upstairs shower did not work at all which let to an inconvenience of everyone having to pick a shower time for the other shower. Also, it's getting very run down, broken shower install glass, rot in wood around the bottom of the one working shower shower. Place needs some TLC for sure.
The cabin is very spacious but there are quite a few things that need repair. The upstairs bathroom faucet was broken and nonfunctional. Several windows were broken and couldn't be opened. We filled the dishwasher and pressed the start button and found it nonfunctional. The downstairs bathroom toilet seat was broken and pinching butts. The management company repaired the faucet and replaced the toilet seat promptly but it should have been done before we arrived. We liked the open living space for meals and playing games.
Perfect for the family. In between Gull and June Lake easy access to both. The big plus was the park at Gull Lake. Less than 5 min. walk to spend a fun filled afternoon with Grandkids. Looking forward to next year.

We have rented from rainbow ridge over the years and have always been treated excellent, first property we ever had a complaint about.
Went with VRBO because my son e-mailed me to show cabin, thought cabin was reasonable, did not like idea that they did not show inside of cabin only outside. he said lets go for it Dad.
later when I had to refer to rainbow ridge, your site showed inside of cabin, I wasnt to happy. Very happy they did update the old TVs when we got there. Overall we had a great time with all the family and that's what counts. Next year we will be more aware and definitely go through rainbow ridge.
Definitely dated, although overall it was okay. the above review is more reflective of how we were dealt with as far as VRBO and Rainbow Ridge. The cabin reflects a "3" rating. little things like Toilet handle (a note saying to jiggle handle, make sure not running. Bathroom door lock worn out not working. Note on shower door "lift to open and close) shower side glass broken. Toilet seat partially broken. One screen on window near main door ripped, could not open window to allow breeze because of mosquitoes. two light bulbs above dining table out. a few more things that were small, just could use a slight update on things. You pay good money and expect a little better especially since these are relatively minor items to take care of. It made a difference on how i felt. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. the main living area was comfortable.
Faucet in upstairs bathroom difficult to operate. Beds could be more comfortable. Limited parking. Otherwise worked out very well after a six hour drive for a wedding in area.
A Real comfortable cabin feel with historic time pieces.
I must say I've stayed at many cabins / homes up at June Lake and this one really hit the spot. We loved the old comfort feel with all the great little historic items within the cabin. Wood burning stove, old cast iron t-pot's and most importantly the time stamped door going back to the 1920's. Family & friends history going way back before my time.
Don't get me wrong, the cabin has all the updated amenities but it's the historic items throughout the cabin that makes you feel comfortable.
We loved your cabin and would love to come back next year.
Thanks for all the memories

Fantastic spot for family and friends. The house was very spacious (we fit 9 pretty big guys) and the house was beautiful. Close walk to gull lake and just a quick little drive to June Lake beach. Highly recommend and look forward to trying to get this house again in the winter months.
