Appartement confortable de 70 m2 en centre ville au 3ème étage d'un hôtel particulier près de la place Pey Berland et de la rue Ste Catherine. Il comprend : un séjour spacieux et lumineux , une cuisine bien équipée( four,micro ondes, machine à laver la vaisselle et le linge) une salle de bain avec baignoire et une chambre ( lit en 140).La chambre ne donne pas sur la rue. Les draps , le linge de toilette et les torchons sont fournis. Décoration soignée. Restaurants, cinémas, boutiques,commerces alimentaires, monuments et station de tramway à proximité(100m) Parking payant proche (place PeyBerland)
Je serais ravie de vous accueillir dans mon appartement et de vous aider à passer un agréable séjour.

Francois was a gracious and accommodating host. We requested an early check in due to our flights. She was happy to help us out. Her place is so lovely, it felt comfortable and familiar. The location was fantastic, we walked everywhere. If walking is not your thing, the tram stop is one street away. It’s so convenient. We would happily stay here again.

This charming flat has an ideal location - a block from the cathedral, in a quiet building, with fascinating shops and art nearby. Francoise is a helpful host and this is her real home, so it's complete. It is at the top of the building, a classic French courtyard apartment building.

I enjoyed my stay in the apartment. Found the owner very helpful when I arrived later than expected & no luggage as it was delayed from my Paris flight. She also provided useful information about local eateries & things to do.

This apartment is spacious with a modern kitchen and bathroom. It is very centrally located, so you can walk everywhere.

Wonderful apartment in the heart of Bordeaux

We feel very privileged to have stayed in Francoises’ lovely apartment in Bordeaux. She greeted us warmly and showed us around, stayed in touch to ensure we had no questions, and was very helpful with her advice on things to do. The apartment is spacious and eclectic, the epitome of shabby chic.

Attic apartment in the middle of the city with plenty of character

It was a great pleasure to stay as a guest in Francoise's home. The location is excellent, in the middle of the city but still quiet. The apartment is spacious and the kitchen well equipped.

First, Francoise is wonderful. She met us at the local parking office (we’re on a driving holiday through France) to help with our less-than-perfect French and ensure our needs were met. She went well beyond what I would expect of a host. She also provided a very thorough list of favorite walks, sites, restaurants, patisseries, etc. The apartment is well appointed and spacious, located less than a block from the tram stop and walking distance to the vast majority of the city’s attractions (Cathedrals, restaurants, shopping, etc.). Day trips to vineyards were easy. We truly enjoyed our stay - Francoise and the location of the apartment were a key to that.

Simply a fabulous experience I found Bordeaux a wonderful place. The people were so friendly. Our accommodation was exactly what we were looking for and the location was second to none but a special mention has to go to the host. She was helpful and friendly. Spacious apartment near in the heart of Bordeaux

The apartment is as shown, surprisingly roomy with lots of light. It's in the bustling center of town, but we knew there would be activity at night; the bedroom faces away from the street and is quieter than the living room. LOTS of good restaurants and shopping in walking distance. This area has quite an international character, given its popularity, and is very English-friendly.

Perfect Location

Francois is so nice! The property is perfect for a short stay in Bordeaux. Perfect location for great places to eat, shop & explore. Keep in mind that it’s 4 flights of stairs to get up to this quaint apartment. No elevator. If that’s not an issue then it’s a perfect place. We slept very comfortably too! Not really a shower with only a tub and shower wand. My wife and I would def stay there again.

Perfect location and most charming host!

We loved Bordeaux and this charming apt was ideally located in center of old city. The owner was lovely and welcomed us generously with a short tour of the neighbourhood. AC was an initial concern but the evening breeze cooled the apt perfectly. The view of the angel atop St-Andre’s Cathedral was stunning! Highly recommended!

Perfect landing spot for Bordeaux

Brilliantly renovated attic apartment in historic building one block from cathedral and tram stop. Everything we needed was provided, and the space was lovely. Third floor walk up helped get us in shape, and we managed it even as senior citizens. Would love to return!

Bordeaux city visit

This city unit was ideal. Short walks to the tourist information center, Ecole du Vin, Hotel Ville, etc. While we did not use the Bordeaux city tram, there is a stop very close to the unit. Our host was outstanding especially in order to answer questions and translate French to English. She even provided several sheets of local area indoor for us, all in English.

Franscoise is a lovely host. Took the time to show me around the neighborhood which helped me get oriented. Recommendations for bakery and restaurants were 100%. Told me to help myself to the cupboards for cooking staples was much appreciated. Apartment was cozy, and a great location in a beautiful city. I will definitely book here if/when I return to Bx. Merci beaucoups Francoise, you made my first visit to Bx awesome.

Comfortable and central

We were welcomed warmly by the owner to her spacious, clean and comfortable apartment. I had been worried about headroom but despite the attic position that was not a problem. There are three double flights of stairs which we managed but would be tough if one had heavy bags or were less fit. We loved the central location which meant exploring on foot was no trouble. The only downside were the extremely squeaky floors, moving around the flat was impossible without disturbing the other person if they were resting.

Bonsoir LOUISE, Je suis ravie que votre séjour bordelais dans mon appartement vous ait plu malgré quelques détails que vous mentionnez. Pour arriver chez moi il faut effectivement monter 3 étages( comme il est indiqué dans l'annonce). L'escalier en pierre aux larges marches et à la jolie rampe en fer forgé du 19ème siècle ainsi que les parquets anciens font partie du charme des vieilles demeures du centre ville et du patrimoine historique que nous avons à coeur de préserver. Perfect Stay

Our entire experience at this home was perfect! The apartment was very charming and very comfortable. The apartment was perfectly located in the city center, close to many of the popular visiting sites. Transportation access was very close. It was a very safe neighborhood; my husband and I felt very comfortable walking everywhere even in the evenings. Most importantly, our host was/is amazing. Francois kept us always informed, responded quickly to our inquiries and was very friendly. She was very sweet remembering my husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, making our stay even more special. We definitely would love to stay in her home again next time we visit Bordeaux...if she lets us :) We highly recommend her place to others as well!

believe all those top marks

When i first looked at this i was very dubious about all those top marks but here am i giving the same. If you want a negative we just weren't used to a hand-held shower in the bath nor all those stairs. But being at the top minimises the noise from the street and though you do get noise in the lounge you don't in the bedroom where it matters. So why pay a fortune for a cramped room in a bland hotel when you could enjoy living in a lovely apartment in the centre of town? And what can i say about Francoise herself? This genuinely was the nicest welcome we have had anywhere in the world.

je suis à la retraite mais encore active. J' aime accueillir des voyageurs et leur faire découvrir ma ville et mon quartier. Je les reçois comme j aimerais être reçue lorsque je voyage. J ai été greeters pendant quelques années. Maintenant je me contente de donner mes bonnes adresses et d aider les personnes que je reçois à passer le meilleur séjour possible.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

j habite cet appartement depuis longtemps. J"adore ce quartier qui est à la fois central mais un peu à l'écart du brouhaha des rues commerçantes. J y ai mes habitudes et vous fournirai une liste de magasins, restaurants et bars afin que vous passiez un agréable séjour.
