The home is very clean, cozy with adequate furnishings. It was in an excellent location steps from the Capitol building, gift shop, and downtown. Stayed with my partner and mother for a brief getaway, we got to see a ton of places around Salt Lake City and Utah.
House was nice as pictured and in a great location just a block from the capital. Was a little dissappinted with minimal kitchen cookware as we loke to cook and the noisy traffic. Not sure if timing of our visit had anything to do with high traffic but there was frequent motor vehicles running up and down street including alot of annoying motorbikes that could be heard. We had to ask host to unlock thermostat settings which was a bit unusual and kind of unconfortable but he did accomodate. The written house rules asked to take off shoes at enterance which was also unusual and didnt make for a welcoming first impression but not a big deal. We will try elsewhere next time. If your looking for a nice place to stay close to downtown and the capital though this may be a good option. For what its worth we also stayed in nearby Provo and enjoyed that city much better. Provo is not far from SLC and people were freindlier and city is less congested in our experience.
Loved the house, beautiful, spacious and quaint with the best location!! Such a gorgeous neighborhood with the Capitol just a few blocks away. Everything was easy for check-in, the home was clean. My son loved the basement, like having his own apartment. We were there for a fun weekend, celebrating my husband's bday and my son's UofU orientation.
Three couples stayed in this house, each room located on a different floor, providing us with plenty of privacy. The location is great! We walked the capitol grounds daily. House was clean. Quiet neighborhood. The back patio was a bonus. Would stay here again!
Great place to stay close to the capital and downtown attractions. Bed was comfortable.i highly recommend going to the capital in the evening and seeing the sunset over Salt Lake City.
I plan to stay there again next time our convention is in SLC. The neighborhood is great, walking distance to the convention center and hikes near by as well. The owner is very responsive to messages.
This house was perfect for us. It was located so very close to State Capitol Building and downtown. The host was very easy to work with and had great communication. The house large, very clean and inviting. We had 4 adults and stayed for 3 nights. We had more than enough room in this spacious tri level home.
We were staying the week for our annual Utah Ski Safari and really appreciated the central location close to restaurants and everything. Our hosts were great communicators and very fast to take care of any needs.
Within walking distance of the Salt Palace and Temple Square
We spent six nights and the house was in such a good location- we walked daily to the Salt Palace Convention center. It is uphill on the way back. We enjoyed the outdoor covered patio space. We cooked in several nights, the kitchen could use additional cutting boards, and towels, but I understand a lot of people do not cook on vacation. When we were there it was hot and sunny and we utilized air-conditioning in the house. The middle floor and upstairs bedrooms were quite comfortable, the downstairs bedroom was too cool, suggest an additional blanket. Otherwise a great stay. The advertisement doesnât tell you there is only one parking pass and it is on the street. There is additional, not permit street parking available in the neighborhood for additional vehicles, but you do need to look for it. It was not an issue for us. We walked a few blocks to park two of our cars. Very nice house, very responsible host. Would stay there again. Can
