Maison privée au bord du lac avec quai de bateau à moins de 5 minutes de l'autoroute et à moins de 45 minutes d'Asheville. Cette grande maison sera parfaite pour toute la famille / groupe. Encore mieux, cette maison est idéale pour tous les âges car elle est accessible aux personnes handicapées et possède un terrain presque plat au bord du lac. Le rez-de-chaussée possède un immense maître avec salle de bain privée. 2ème chambre à côté de la salle de bain. Les draps sont fournis, les serviettes ne le sont pas. Cuisine, salle à manger et salon spacieux et ouvert. A l'étage, une grande mezzanine avec 2 ensembles de lits superposés et 4 lits simples. En bas, profitez de la tanière et du bar complet et des sièges pour 6 personnes. Également une table de billard, beaucoup de sièges, une chambre et une salle de bain complète. À l'extérieur, profitez de la vue complète sur le lac sur le pont arrière complet partiellement couvert et d'une salle à manger pour 10 personnes. Patio coulé sur les lignes du sous-sol avec plus de sièges. Bel aménagement paysager et foyer. Trou de maïs. Les jouets du lac comprendront un canot, une planche à pagaie, un assortiment de flotteurs et 1 kayak pour 2 personnes.

This is the fourth year my family stayed in this house. Age ranges from 17 to 83 and we all love it! It is perfect for families and is in a great cove for swimming. We’ll be back!

We were there during the off-season. The view out to the lake was nice. The house is older and in need of some continued updates. Some things had been updated recently, but others still needed considerable work. There was also an unpleasant smell in the house because it hadn't been used in a while. The house was clean, and the beds were fresh and comfortable.

Awesome group house

Great place for group get away with kids and adults, many spaces for fun and area has lots of things to do. Home is well supplied and host was great. Many memories!!

Ready to go back!

The house was clean and well maintained and the hosts provided everything you need to enjoy your stay! There is limited parking for both cars and your boat but it's doable!

Annual Family weekend

Very nice property. Clean and Comfy. We really enjoyed being on the lake. Perfect for boating, fishing and it was nice to have canoe, paddleboard and kayaks. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous. Loved sitting on deck and looking out at them.

The Perfect Lake James House

This is the perfect house for a family vacation on Lake James. The kitchen is well equipped. The top floor is perfect for a group of kids. We all loved the bottom floor pool table and record player. The dock it great to swim from and it located in a peaceful cove. This is our 3rd time staying here and plan to return every year.

Great place to stay and play. Had everything you need. As per photos and info. 15 minutes to greenway in Morganton and close to Fonta Flora brewery and hiking trails!

Comfy home and quiet area

Even though there are houses close by, it was quiet. We had a great getaway, 4 kids and 6 adults. The kids all shared the bunkbed room which is the third floor. Had everything we needed.

Wonderful!

We all loved this property. Plenty of room for all 14 of us. We found a hiking trail just down the street. The view of the lake was beautiful.

A short return home

House was just as described we were pleasantly surprised by all the fun decor around the house. Our kids enjoyed fishing playing in the lake and afternoon fires. The property is located right by the Fonta Flora trail head which we took full advantage of exploring.

Lake James Retreat

Location exceptional and property is outstanding. Kitchen was well equipped, and beds were comfortable. Minor concerns about cleanliness and condition of stereo equipment. People with mobility issues need to be careful when using walkway to lake. Overall loved the experience.

Family summer vacation

We’ve always wanted to visit Lake James & it is a beautiful mountain lake. The home suited our needs well. Plenty of room to spread out. Loved the three decks. Thoughtful kitchen items, well stocked & organized. Wonderful landscaping. Boat dock was a little closer to neighbors than I prefer. All in all a great house for groups to enjoy.

Family vacation

We had 13 people ranging in age from 17 to 80 years old. Everyone had a bed and slept comfortably. The loft was perfect for all the “kids”. We enjoyed swimming from the dock every day!! The kayaks and paddle board were also a big hit. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals each night. We highly recommend this property, it’s quiet and the view was amazing!!!

Multi Family Vacation

We had plenty of room for a multi family vacation. The kids/teens had a great time in the game room and had plenty of space in the bunk room in the loft. The many lake toys provided make the property and the lake easy to enjoy. The house is well stocked and the kitchen was easy to use. Ranked it a 4 star since they do not provide towels, which is inconvenient when traveling from 9 hours away.

Well Equiped Large Lake House

We have never stayed at a property that had as much supplies as this one. So well equipped it was like home away from home. Lake area/cove is clean with excellent swimming for the kids. A little tight with neighbors docks but okay. House is large with plenty of space. The upstairs sleeping loft for kids was nice to have. House to water was not steep and easy to access.

Lake trip 2023

Location is perfect. Older home with dated decor. It is def a family home with lots of mementos everywhere. My son loved the records and pool table. Nice sloped walk to dock. Kitchen is well stocked and beds were comfortable except for Queen. It had a def roll in middle.still gave 5 stars because location is perfect, had paddle boards, and no steep walk to dock.
