Le plaisir abonde au bord du lac !! Vous avez trouvé l'endroit idéal pour profiter de Lake Living. Des vues spectaculaires dans une oasis privée sur le lac James avec cette maison au bord du lac avec 5 chambres et 3 bains avec quai privé. Entrez dans la maison et vous êtes accueilli sur un plan d'étage ouvert avec de hauts plafonds. Toute la maison a été mise à jour avec de nouveaux meubles achetés en 2017.

Cette maison a une grande cuisine entièrement équipée avec une grande île et beaucoup d'espace pour divertir la famille et les amis. Le rez-de-chaussée donne également accès au porche grillagé et à la grande terrasse donnant sur le lac.

Votre maison de vacances peut accueillir confortablement 12 personnes avec la literie suivante:

La maison a été conçue pour accueillir plusieurs familles avec 2 cuisines et 2 espaces de vie. L'étage principal comprend 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains avec une cuisine complète dotée d'un grand îlot. Le niveau inférieur comprend 2 chambres et 1 salle de bains avec kitchenette et table de ping-pong.

Vous pourrez profiter de la télévision par câble sur les 3 télévisions haute définition et d'une connexion haut débit à Internet avec connexion Wi-Fi.

Une fois à l'extérieur, les clients sont accueillis avec une petite plage de sable et un foyer au bord de l'eau. Sur le lac, nous avons un quai privé où vous pourrez utiliser nos 2 planches à pagaie et un kayak qui offrent un excellent moyen d'explorer et de profiter du magnifique lac James. Si vous souhaitez faire une exploration plus approfondie sur le lac, nous sommes heureux de vous référer à quelques marinas qui proposent des locations de bateaux pontons. Le glissement principal est occupé mais les clients sont invités à se nouer sur le côté.

L'allée est étroite et raide, mais offre également un espace pour parcourir complètement toute la maison. Les remorques pour bateaux peuvent être déposées en haut de l'allée dans un espace complètement plat à gauche de l'entrée.

La maison offre tout le nécessaire pour une base idéale pour vous assurer de passer des vacances amusantes et relaxantes sur les plus beaux lacs des Carolines.

Awesome place to stay

Such a nice place to get away. It's clean, inviting, roomy, and perfect spot on the lake. Screened in porch was perfect to have your morning coffee on..so peaceful! Communication with owner was so easy and enjoyable.

Beautiful house and location

Great accommodations and easy access to both levels of the house for unloading. Loved seeing a family of otters too. Quiet cove and excellent beach area with firepit. Lots of stores just 20-25 minutes away.

Matt was so great at accommodating our big group for a family funeral. We needed a really short stay and an unusual start time and he went the extra mile to make it happen. We were so grateful to have been able to stay together at such a hard time for our family. And the property is gorgeous!!!!

Perfect vacation with friends and family

Perfect house for multi generational group. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards, swimming ogg the dock. Easy docking for our pontoon boat. Fire pit, pong pong, basketball, cor hole. Great kitchen. Perfect.

Beautiful home on lake cove

This home was perfect for our vacation , with plenty of space for each family unit. We enjoyed card games on the screened porch in the evenings. The house is pristine clean, has a spacious well stocked kitchen, and the beds all comfortable. The firepit is a cozy spot to gather and look out over the lake. We look forward to returning!

Beautiful Lake House

Spacious 5-bedroom lake house that was well furnished. Communications and instructions were straight-forward and easy. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed should you want to dine in. Enjoyed the paddleboards and kayak. Ping pong table was a bonus. Would rent again.

Great Lake Getaway

Our family rented Lake James Retreat for 4 days. We had a total of 12 people (3 generations). Great time was had by all. The lake was absolutely gorgeous!! Rented a pontoon for the day and took a ski boat with us. The house was very well equipped and very clean and comfortable for all of us. Will return again!!

Lovely Lake House

The driveway was scary. Ground keeper came and blew leaves off which helped. Having 3 ovens was awesome for preparing Thanksgiving dinner. Of course, 2 refrigerators were also much appreciated. Fire ban was lifted so we enjoyed pit fires in the evenings.

Fantastic family home on quiet cove

We just returned from a week at this wonderful home in Holiday Shores on Lake James and —wow—it was perfect for our family of 8. Plenty of room for the kids (young adults, actually) to spread out in the basement with their own sitting area, TV and kitchen, while my husband and I, and his parents had the upstairs. Beautiful views of the lake from the screened-in porch. We spent most of our time on the private dock, which accommodated our ski boat quite well. The owners have gone above and beyond to ensure all the little details that make a vacation home HOME greeted us on arrival. We wanted for nothing all week, and truly hated having to pack up and leave when the week was over (way too quickly). Lake James doesn’t have many 4-bedroom homes with private docks for weekly rental, so we feel lucky to have found Matt and Bhavana’s home on VRBO. As my kids would say “10/10 would do again!”

This property had everything we needed plus more! We really enjoyed the fire pit by the lake. The lake cove was quiet and serene. The house was very clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with soap, towels, shampoo, pots, pans, and all manner of dishes and utensils. The WiFi was great and the TV’s were all up to date. Our group of 9 loved the vibe!

Great house on Lake James!

House was great! Lots of room, nice screened in porch room and large kitchen! We brought our boat and docked right at the house! The hosts were incredibly nice and answered right away with any questions that we had! We had to leave a day early because our grandkids came down with fevers and they refunded our last night. Didn’t need to, but they did! Super nice!!

Beautiful home for a family vacation!

Very comfortable home, we had a wonderful stay! Matt & Bhavana were very responsive and helpful. We booked a boat for a few days and it's a great spot for enjoying the lake. The walk to the dock is steep, but WAY easier than many of the other homes we saw. The view is lovely and the property felt very private. We took day trips to the Biltmore and a few hiking spots, and had some meals in Marion and Morganton; while feeling quite remote, it's not too far away from anything you might need! We also cooked a lot, and the kitchen was roomy enough for three of us to cook/prep and the others to sit around the island chatting. Definitely would book again!

Family Fun

Fantastic home! Loved the layout, kitchen, bedrooms. We ate breakfast every day on the screened in porch. Walked down to the lake for a float or swim or paddle board. The teens loved jumping off the dock at the house and s’mores at night by the fire pit. Loved fishing off the dock. The beds were really comfortable!

Great getaway!

Plenty of room for everyone to gather together, well stocked kitchen, the extra fridge was clutch, we hung out on the dock all weekend, quiet little cove for a holiday, lovely screened porch to enjoy the evenings and when it rained... we all agreed we would rent again!

Great for Fishing and kayaking

Access to the water is amazing if you enjoy Kayaking. Can also fish off the boat dock and backyard area. Plenty of room in the house for families. Close access to a boat rental and bait store. House and yard is well kept. Easy access to residence and easy check in procedures!! Really enjoyed this house and would like to come back!!

5 bedroom lake house that delivers.

Fully equipped does not begin to describe how well this owner has furnished their home for your fun and enjoyment. Fabulous kitchen, comfortable rooms, huge screened in porch, ping pong, cornball, 3 paddleboards/kayak, fire pit/chairs/firewood, dock situated in quiet finger of lake. If they would provide lots of bathroom hooks to hang towels/bathing suits/wet clothes I would deem it perfect.

Bar has been set!

This was our 7th year of vacationing in the Mountains and we have finally found our spot. The property offered everything we needed and more. The upgrades the owners have done from the original post are awesome. Love having two kitchens, the covered screened in porch and the lower level for corn hole. The location is very easy and convenient for site seeing. The number 1 advantage was having a open golf course within a half mile. Can’t wait to go back.

Vous êtes reçu par Matt Bartholf

We are Matt & Bhavana. A family with young kids and we enjoy vacations that allow us to get away and spend time together with opportunities to both be active & relax. Our kids just love the water and their most memorable vacations have been at lake, beach or the mountains. We live in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our kids have always loved the water. Matt grew up on Lakes and when we visited Lake James and saw how beautiful and clean the water was, how little traffic Lake James receives, and the great hiking and fishing in the area, we fell in Love with it!

As parents of young kids, it was also important for us to be in a place not too far off from having access to good organic groceries, shops and great restaurants for nice evening out - Morganton offers all of this. And we have a few great wine vineyards and breweries providing excellent venues for drink, live music and dining.

Our hope is that we can share this experience with other families & you will also find your bliss at Lake James.

We fell in love with this house with it's unique style, open floor plans, & large kitchen (Love to Cook!)! The private dock with such a beautiful view of the lake where we can experience breath taking sunrises!
