Forever Friday est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade à deux ou pour les amis et la famille, pour se retrouver et se détendre. Il offre un salon spacieux, de nombreuses activités et plus de 2 acres d'intimité sur la rivière Ellijay. Il a une zone clôturée pour les chiens juste à côté du niveau principal de la maison. Essayez de pêcher la truite ou attachez un tube et laissez-vous emporter toute la journée, lisez peut-être un bon livre sur l’un des nombreux ponts ou sous le porche, assistez à un jeu animé de billard dans la salle de jeu au sous-sol, jouez au pacman débit de la rivière par. Plus tard, vous pourrez vous détendre dans le bain à remous privé. Les possibilités semblent infinies dans cette cabane Sliding Rock. We were not able to get into the river due to rain causing a stronger current and murky water. We still had a great time walking, grilling and playing games. Sliding Rocks is the best dog friendly place to stay! The cabins are always clean and the staff are always kind and helpful!

Quiet, lazy, dog friendly river retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a perfect getaway for us- 2 couples, 2 grown children, and 2 dogs. The draw was being right on the river, being able to take dogs, and having privacy. Besides being in the river -the pool table, hot tub, screened porch, deck and fire pit were where we spent all of our time - we only went out for one meal and a round of golf. The cabin had all the essentials you would expect. The property was gated so the dogs had space to roam. From the main road turnoff to the cabin be prepared for steep, gravel, winding narrow roads.

It is very clean and well kept. Our two huskies loved the freedom and swimming in the river. The flat gated area makes it safe and easy to let the dogs out to go potty. We enjoyed relaxing and playing games. Thank you Sliding Rock for always making our vacations memorable.

Great place

We had a great time at this place. It was clean and had everything we needed. As a person who doesn’t own pets I was worried about any smells, but it didn’t smell bad, which was great. The river was nice but not that good for swimming or fishing. Overall it was a nice place.

Summer Relaxation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin location was perfect. We loved that the entire yard was fenced in to allow our fur baby to roam freely around the property. We did get a workout from climbing the stairs from the main level to the water side. We had an issue with sugar ants in the kitchen and had to spray bug spray daily (this was a first for us as many previous cabins did not have this issue). Also, the doors on the main floor are difficult to open and close. Overall, the cabin had plenty of amenities and games. The family loved playing pool in the evening while watching the basketball playoffs. There are plenty of places to read and relax. It was such a peaceful stay.

Family fun on the river

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We only had a long weekend stay, but the kids wanted to stay longer. The cabin was great for 2 families with 7 people. The screened in porch, hot tub, game room and river access were our favorite parts. It is a log cabin so there are quirks. The upstairs was much hotter, no fan in the upstairs bathroom meant it got very steamy, ant invasion in the kitchen. The cabin was well stocked with the basics, we had everything we needed for cooking and entertainment. Some of the other cabins along the river provided tubes, this one did not so make sure to bring them. The town of Blue Ridge has a scenic railway, a ropes course and other activities. I wish we had time to visit the wineries close by. Easily enough to do to fill a week stay.

The cabin is cozy, peaceful, and the perfect place to unwind. We loved spending time on the porch, relaxing in the hot tub, and just enjoying the quiet surroundings.Our dogs had an absolute blast, too! They loved exploring the outdoor space and lounging on the porch. It’s so nice to have a place where they’re truly welcome.Everything was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. We already can’t wait for our next visit!

Our stay

We enjoed the cabin. There were a few issues that were there when we arrived and could not be addressed until after we left, such as water in basement game room. But I’m sure all will be fixed for next guest. The road to cabin was very long, windy and not what I enjoyed. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Sliding Rock are very professional and the Cabins they offer are amazing. We will for sure use them again and hopefully get this same cabin again. I think this was the 6th time we have stayed at this cabin, but have also enjoyed several other cabins with Sliding Rock Cabins in the past. Cabins are always clean, great amenities, and exactly as advertised on their website. I can not recommend this cabin strongly enough, and have always had great experiences in the past with the Sliding Rock Cabins management staff.

It's so nice to be able to bring our dogs to such a wonderful place with a fenced yard so they can have a vacation too! They loved frolicking in the river and lounging on the bank in the sun. The adults also had a wonderful time in the hot tub and playing pool. Our only wish would have been that the air hockey table was working.

Family reunion

Beautiful property and perfect location. My family really enjoyed the stay at this property. We hang out on the lower deck for most of the day. This deck is right on the river and the men were fishing from there the whole day while we kept them company and sunbath. There’re a lot of very steep stairs connecting the four levels of the house which makes it very difficult for seniors, younger children an older dogs to access. You can reach the lower deck by walking around the house on the outside. We had my grandson‘s first birthday party at the river by the fire pit. It was so beautiful and beautiful memories were made.
