We enjoyed out stay greatly. It is a very quiet and clean location and close to town. The cabin was well stocked with your basics and beyond. We would recommend to anyone looking for a weekend getaway..
Our family has stayed her twice in the past two years. We love the quiet surroundings the hot tub and the pool! Everything is so private and so very enjoyable. Thank you for making our stay the best ever, once again!!
My son and I stayed here for 3 nights for our annual summer cabin/fishing trip. Was soooo clean especially for a pet friendly place and so close to downtown Blue Ridge, Tubing, and hiking but felt so secluded on the property. All the amenities such as the hot tub and pool made it even better. Would definitely recommend! Great little vacation away from home!
We loved the carriage house and property. Was a great place to change out for a few days yet central to a few great day trips. House was equipped with everything you need and check out was smooth and easy. We will definitely be back.
Had a great time on a short 2 night stay!
Great location near the river & near everything you want to do but still out of town.
Kids enjoyed the pool & hot tub!
Greg was great! No problems!
Super great place to get away. The cabin was awesome, had everything we needed. The whole property is wonderful. The pool is awesome. We had it to ourselves most days. Truly a great place, we absolutely loved it, and the owners are great to work with. We will definitely be back.
This was our first time visiting Blue Ridge, GA but it wonât be our last.
We had a great, relaxing time in Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect for my family. Very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing, exploring the property, playing basketball, the fire pit making sâmores swimming in the pool, and playing billiards every night. We definitely want to come back.
The property was gorgeous. The views were beautiful including waking to a gorgeous sunrise. The kitchen was great, the furniture was comfy, and the walking/hiking was beautiful. Wifi was 10/10, zoom had no issues.
The house waa great with up to date appliances. Very cozy, cottage feel. Missing some mountain views from the home itself though. The pool was nice and always empty when we visited.
We had an amazing time during our stay. The cabin was great, and it was fun to step right out and throw some discs in the disc golf baskets. Our dog also enjoyed the trip. We were close to everything, but it was also very peaceful. We had everything we needed for a quick getaway. We would love to come back when we can stay longer.
Cabin was great. Grandsons enjoyed pool beautiful river. Rained a lot but we had games and a pool table. My only issue is the bath upstairs. A little bleach would go a long way with the mildew at tub other than that everything was there we needed
Awesome short fall trip with my family. The house was very clean and had everything you might want or need. My husband enjoyed the trout fishing that was only a short walk from the house. He caught and released at least 10 trout during our two night stay. We didn't use the pool, but the hot tub was divine! We would definitely stay here again.

Very pleased with our stay at this property. Greg was very responsive when I reached out. Had mostly everything thing we needed. Property is as listed. Only reason for 4 stars for cleanliness is because we did see a few roaches in the kitchen and bathroom areas. Main bathroom tub could also use some updating but our overall stay is 5 stars. Would recommend.
We came to Blue Ridge for a wedding with my spouse, parents, dog, and 3 month old daughter and all fit comfortably. My mom was actually preparing the wedding cakes so she was especially happy that there was a large countertop and two refrigerators. The downstairs room was a bit chilly but they provided lots of warm blankets. Thank you for hosting us!
It was a comfortable and clean cabin. Not great views but nonetheless we had enough to keep our teenagers busy indoors on Christmas Day. The basket ball in the driveway, pool table and hot tub is what we enjoyed the most. We even roasted some marshmallows and made sâmores the day it didnât rain. Lucky to have a deer visit us by the picnic table.
Thank you, Greg for sharing your lovely cabin with us.
Oregonian Greg Spencer initially discovered the Blue Ridge area on a backpacking trip to the Cohutta Wilderness in the 1980âs. A short time later, enamored of the area, and the incredible recreational opportunities, Greg began to explore the potential for purchasing raw mountain land, and developing uniquely designed and hand-crafted cabins, taking full advantage of stunning views and a quarter mile of Toccoa River frontage.
Amazed by the beauty of the Toccoa River and the inspiring views of the surrounding mountains, Greg wasted no time in securing what is now known as the Toccoa House Properties.
During the 1990âs Greg built a small cabin, The Riverside Cabin, on the Toccoa River, and envisioned a larger house that he later built on the ridge above: The Toccoa House, completed in 2000. Next came The Carriage House in 2002, and the in-ground, seasonally heated swimming pool in 2007. The Grey Heron House, was completed in late 2007, the The Toccoa Riverfront Cabin was completed in 2016.
It is rare to have awesome views AND direct access to over 1000 feet of Toccoa River shoreline. Greg has also combined his 40+ years of experience as a builder and home inspector to create a custom home, with excruciating attention to detail. Every aspect is well above and beyond the typical north Georgia cabin rental.
