Great location, amenities exactly as listed, easiest check-in/checkout I've experienced.Those with mobility issues will have trouble with the stairs. Otherwise, great home base for a single traveler or couple who don't need a lot of space.

Lovely little getaway!

We stayed here for a wedding downtown and the location was so perfect! Everything about it was perfect for our stay - clean, comfortable, charming and walkable. Easy check in/out, overall great accommodation!!

The property was quaint and welcoming! We enjoyed the perks that were provided and it was in a great location near King Street! The bathroom/shower was a bit small, which was no bother to us but might be a hinderance for those who may be a bigger build. All in all a wonderful stay!

Cozy, perfect for weekend getaway

Awesome location!

Cute little unit in a great location just over a block from King street and all the bars and restaurants. The place was small but it was just what we needed. We would definitely start there again!

Convenient location

Great location near upper King. Unique accommodation - it felt like staying on a boat! Great extras like coffee, etc. Highly recommend for a quick getaway downtown Charleston.

Great Location

The unit was in a great location and having a parking place was a big plus. It was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The description was exactly as stated. If you can't maneuver the narrow spiral staircase, then consider a different booking. We were very pleased.

Cute and clean, within ideal walking distance from shops and fabulous restaurants. Hosts responsive and helpful. Spiral staircase would not suit everyone.

Beautiful retreat

Such a great place! Amenities were perfect! Very thoughtful set up. Clean, bed was incredibly comfortable. Loved that whoever set up the room had the air on and lights to really showcase and give a wow factor when I walked in. Thank you for making my stay wonderful! Also great location near downtown! Video was super helpful showing where to park etc

Super Cozy, Super Clean and tidy... awesome but not a place for giants

Greeted by a welcome wine and easy entrance complete with a youtube of how to get in! Brilliant. Good location. Super clean and very efficient use of space, but not a place for giants, larger formats, or mobility-challenged guests.

Great Location! Easy Access! Awesome Customer Service!

The Property Management gave me excellent details on how to get there, where to park and how to access the property. They answer questions very quickly via the Vrbo app. The location of this rental is on point! You can walk to a lot of the major attractions, shops and restaurants. Uber/Lyft is easy to order for all the rest or if you don't want to walk that much. The rental was clean and had everything we needed for a great weekend!

Clean, micro-apartment in great location

Property was very clean, comfortable, easy to find and check-in. They even left us a welcome gift bag and bottle of wine! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the bathroom and shower are quite small and tight to navigate, even smaller than I was expecting from the pictures. My husband and I were able to make the space work because we spent the majority of our time our of the apartment and really only slept and got ready in the space. This apartment would be ideal for 1 person staying, or 2 people if you don't plan on being there long. Would absolutely stay with CHC properties again - communication and cleanliness were excellent.

The pictures of this property accurately display the property. It is very small, but very cozy! This unit is located in the ‘Cannonborough-Elliotborough’ neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is the most upcoming neighborhood on the peninsula. It is also the only neighborhood in Downtown Charleston where Short Term Rentals are considered legal. We are just one block from upper King Street, and also surrounded by local coffee shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc. The Historic District, otherwise known as the French Quarter, makes up a very small part of downtown and is walkable from the unit, although Short Term Rentals are not allowed in the French Quarter. Cute!

This loft was in prime location, and very clean. The bed upstairs was comfortable. There was a plumbing issue within the building on our last night, but the situation was quickly handled by management and we were relocated. Things to note: the loft is extremely small. Listing is accurate but did not realize how small it was until we walked inside. The spiral staircase steps are very narrow. Bathroom is so small that taking a shower was a challenge. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Cute but VERY small

This property is in a great walkable location which was the priority for us on this stay. I will say the studio is so small it is almost impossible to function for more than 1 day here. The shower was almost too small to fit into - I am an average sized woman and could barely get into the shower. At one point the water was turned off and we were not notified. I did reach out and received a quick reply from the agency but still inconvenient for us. Also please note while most buildings in Charleston are old, the walls were so thin we could hear the neighbors sneeze next door. Every word of our conversations and theirs were heard between the units. Just FYI if you prefer quiet at night. It was just too small overall - the photos are nice but definitely make the space look larger than it is. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t stay again.

Regarding the water shutoff, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. There was a leak in a neighboring unit, and the plumber had to turn the water off for approximately 15 minutes to repair a section of pipe. Unfortunately, we were not made aware this would happen until it had already occurred. We understand how frustrating that must have been and appreciate your patience. We also recognize that, while the space is compact, it may not be the best fit for all guests. Your comments are helpful, and we’ll continue to use this type of feedback to improve the guest experience.

Very quaint and relaxing

We came for a birthday trip for my wife and it was awesome! Loved the location and very cozy. Being a taller guy, the bathroom was manageable. Would definitely stay with one of their properties again.
