I couldn't believe how great this place was, the pictures don't even do it justice. Tim is so friendly and we completely fell in love with the dogs, 11/10.
We were 3 ladies spending a week in Oregon to hike. Nice central location to access hikes near Bend or Sisters and also Crater Lake. We enjoyed returning to this relaxing oasis with views of Mt Bachelor from the deck and a drink in the hot tub! Owner Tim was very accommodating and easy to work with. As a bonus gave some loving to his 3 dogs. Would highly recommend.
This hidden âGemâ took us by surprise. We did not anticipate all the cool things this place had to offer. Horseshoes, Darts, Shooting Range, bow and arrow, golf, hiking or just sitting near the pond listening to the waterfalls with our morning coffee. There are so many areaâs to sit and take in the views. The best part of this place is the owner, TIM! Where have you ever gone where the owner has dinner waiting for you upon your arrival??? We felt like we were visiting an old friend. The home itself was immaculate. The mountain theme was carried throughout the entire house. Much thought was put into the decor and did not go unnoticed. We hated to leave, especially leaving a "friend" behind, but rest assured, we will be back!
The property is easily accessible off Highway 97 just east of La Pine Statepark. The cabin is built of solid wood and traditionally furnished with items that pay respect to the classic American cabin experience. There are multiple bathrooms, giving you plenty of privacy. The larger bedroom had a traditional spring mattress with an on-suite bathroom. If youâre a light sleeper, Iâd suggest bringing ear plugs as there is a train track across the road that woke us up a couple times. The downstairs has plenty of room and a larger kitchen with two sinks. The entry is nice and spacious as well as the living room. The fireplace keeps the space very toasty and Tim keeps the firewood stocked, which we appreciated. The hot tub was a big plus for us. Just a few steps away from the back door closer to Timâs suite, it provide a nice opportunity to unwind after our hike at Paulina creek.Tim was a gracious and kind host. Make sure to pay attention to the green board when you show up!
Tim's place is perfect for us. We recharge in quiet, and the location can't be beat. We basically sit by the woodstove, drink coffee and read books the entire time. Views of the snow and mountains are an added bonus.Tim is friendly and accommodating. We will be back :)
This place is amazing. Owner was extremely nice and welcoming. Absolutely beautiful home. Something out of a movie. Has us looking at a log home of our own lol. It was hard to leave. I hope to be back sometime. A very relaxing getaway.
This place was amazing! Tim is as nice as they come and his sweet dogs were an added bonus. We really enjoyed grilling, spending time out by the pond, walking on the property trail, and using the hot tub at night.
We were in La Pine for a wedding and could not have picked a better place to stay. It is a beautiful cabin, cozy, clean, and spacious. Tim is a friendly and thoughtful host and his pups made us feel right at home. The property is beautiful and we loved the pond. The hot tub was an added bonus. Only regret was not being able to spend more time at the actual cabin and just chill because we were off to wedding festivities the whole weekend. Iâll definitely try to reserve this place again when I come back.
This wonderful cabin exceeded all of our expectations. Beautifully built and maintained. We love the waterfall and pond on the property and Tim was an outstanding host. All the bases are covered on this location and we hardly recommend it to all who are fortunate enough to stay here.
Our 2nd time staying here. Great host and good place to relax, enjoy the scenery, use as a base for fishing day trips and swing a few golf clubs. Weâll be back!
My sister and I came up for a few days and had an amazing stay. The pictures do not do it justice, the view is gorgeous and the home is very well decorated - Tim paid very great attention to detail and was very friendly upon arrival. Would definitely stay again.
The dogs were a plus :) Very friendly
We were met by Tim, the owner, as we drove in. Imagine our surprise when we were introduced to a beautiful two story lodge-type log cabin. It was fully furnished with everything you might need PLUS daily basics you would have to pick up at a grocery store. AND out the rear windows? The most beautiful view of Mt Bachelor.
