Ce charmant condo est parfait pour une petite famille à la recherche de l'emplacement parfait pour leur retraite en Alaska! Le poêle à bois garde la maison au chaud et au chaud pendant ces hivers longs et froids de l'Alaska. Vous pouvez regarder un spectacle sur Netflix dans le salon tout en vous relaxant après une longue journée active ou en cuisinant dans la cuisine spacieuse. Le balcon vous offre une vue rapprochée sur les montagnes, la cerise sur le gâteau de cette jolie maison!

Ce complexe est situé si près de la base de la station de ski d'Alyeska que vous pouvez skier à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur! Vous aurez également les magasins et restaurants situés à quelques pas de la porte d'entrée. Le parc d'État de Chugach entoure la région, vous donnant accès à des sentiers de randonnée et de vélo à gogo. Si vous souhaitez découvrir une excellente cuisine, des boutiques élégantes ou des musées fascinants, alors faites le voyage de 41,1 miles jusqu'à Anchorage. Le centre de conservation de la faune de l'Alaska est à 20 miles au sud sur la route Seward.

Good enough

This condo was sufficient for what we needed but nothing special. The couches definitely need to be replaced and the bed in the master was pretty uncomfortable. The location was fantastic and the check-in & out process was seamless.

Great home!

This was a fun quirky place with beautiful views! The unit felt very private backing up to the mountain but it was fun to be able to walk to nearby restaurants and other attractions. Great for walking and exploring Girdwood! The unit is comfortable and well stocked. The decorations are super fun and unique pieces of Alaska culture so we found that really cool. Not a great place if you have mobility issues with the spiral staircase and yes, it has a vintage ski cabin feel of the 70’s. We found that added to the fun uniqueness of the place and everything was very clean and well maintained even if not modern. Would definitely recommend this condo if you want something a little different and a way to explore Girdwood!

Great location!!

Several friends and myself needed a quiet writing retreat and so I booked this place in hopes that we could have a lovely remote working weekend! We were able to pay a fee to have a late checkout and the place was within walking distance of Jack Sprat restaurant, the Bodega, The Bake Shoppe and all the ski trails made for great walks during writing breaks. We snagged some firewood from the gas station and had a lovely fire which heats the entire unit very well! Will definitely keep this place in mind when I need to escape “the city life” of Anchorage again :) Thanks for a wonderful getaway!

The stay was absolutely wonderful. This is a pet friendly condo but you couldn’t tell because the place was sooooo clean. We will forever book this condo when we come to visit. We all loved it and it has an unobstructed view of the mountains

Beautiful Ski Lodge

This was a great location, even more beautiful than the photos. We went midsummer and are non-skiers, but could imagine how amazing the place would be for those skiiing as it is walking distance to slopes. Beyond this, location is great as it is close to food (Bake Shop downstairs and Girdwood Brewing a 2 minute drive), and is great launching point for nearby hikes, such as Portage Pass. The apartment was clean and check-in was a breeze. The windows and deck out looking mountain were beautiful, and the wood burning stove added charm and warmth. Place is also appointed with basically everything you would need with dozens of books, fully equipped kitchen, games, TV with streaming stick, etc. Would 100% stay again if/when I go back to this area of Alaska.

Had a great stay. Condo has the 'Old Girdwood Feel' which is what I was looking for. Kitchen is well furnished. Lots of books and artwork to enjoy! Can walk to everything, hike or MTB right out the door, comfortable deck! Quieter than I expected!

Excellent views and location with lovely shops and eatery around the corner. The place has everything one could need. It could benefit from a sofa upgrade and the ability to regulate sunlight in the upstairs. Small things compared to all that Girdwood offers.

Quaint Mountain Stay

Quaint, cozy, ‘70s condo. Beautiful views, right at the base of the mountain, with easy access to shops and dining. Lovely mountainside balcony. A lot of Girdwood is largely unrenovated, so if that doesn’t bother you then I would definitely recommend this vacation condo.

Nice getaway weekend

Location is very convenient in Girdwood. Close to shops, restaurants, and skiing. Our kids enjoyed sleeping in the bunk-bed in the loft. We would have given 5 stars, but my wife and I both have back issues and the master bedroom mattress is standard, which means we woke up a little soar.

NOT kid friendly

Between the musty, mildew smell upon entering, the railing on the balcony that was so loose it felt like it was about to fall off, and the piece missing at the top of the staircase, this was not where we wanted to spend our vacation. I’m not sure why it was listed as kid friendly, it wasn’t. My 3 and 1 year old were not safe there. We left 5 min after we were given the keys, and sat in the car for three hours while trying to get our money back and find a new place to stay, with tired and hungry kids, groceries spoiling, and any available places significantly more expensive than we wanted to spend. Not the best start to our vacation. If you don’t have kids, don’t mind furniture that looks and feels like it belongs in a basement, don’t plan to lean on the balcony rails, and don’t mind the mildew smell, it might work for you.

We are sorry that you did not enjoy our property. We have this property listed as "children allowed" but not that it is baby proof. There are no baby gates or baby proofing equipment in the home, so our guests would need to bring their own. We will be discussing the musty smell in the home with our local staff to make sure that gets taken care or, although that was not reported during the initial reports of these issues. We do hope that the refund that we offered you has helped the resolution of these problems you experienced. Thank you for your feedback.
