Cette maison confortable est située sur la baie de Quivera, de magnifiques couchers de soleil sur le son du Mississippi et une vue sur le golfe du Mexique, à deux pâtés de maisons du golfe. Il a une jetée pour la pêche et un endroit pour amarrer votre bateau.

La chambre principale a un lit king size, la chambre d'hôtes a un lit queen size, la chambre avec lits superposés a des lits superposés et un lit jumeau.

Great home in a great spot!

This property was very nice. Lots of patio/deck space. Right on the water/cove for the fishermen in our group. Very responsive owners. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Not likely to rent again

We stayed at this house for nearly a week. Our review of this property is mixed:*Some of the photos on this listing need to be updated: there were photos depicting the view of the bay which showed a green space across from the house, however, this green space no longer exists as there are now 2 large, 2-story houses there. May want to ask for updated pics before renting this house if the view is of importance.*The 2 houses across the bay and another 2 doors down (all in very close proximity) were under construction during our stay. The owners did not notify us about the construcrtion until the day of our arrival. Next door neighbors advised us construction started a year ago.*Noise from the construction resulted in us often not being able to enjoy the outdoor space. A couple days it was so loud, we left the house. Recommend inquiring as to the current state of construction before renting.*We were advised on the day of arrival that a starter supply of paper towels/TP was provided & that we would need to buy more; a little more advance notice would have been appreciated. We don't mind bringing our own supplies, but by the time we were notified, we had left home and were on the road*Many of the windows could not be opened or had screens full of large holes*House was very clean upon our arrival*Kitchen was well stocked; huge supply of plates, glasses, coffee mugs, utensils, etc.

Fishing off the dock

Our family of 5 with 3 kids ages ranging 9-15 had a great time! We brought crab cages and caught crabs which we cooked up. We caught countless Krokers, but no luck with the sheepsheads other fishermen caught just a couple houses down in the same bay. The beach is just down the street, the beach can be seen from the kitchen window.

We can’t say enough good things about this home! The hosts were very friendly and communication was quick and easy. We had no problems during our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful decorations perfectly placed throughout the home! Short walk to the Gulf and lovely views off the back deck. Great Get Away

Everything was outstanding! Property was perfect! Caught redfish, specs, and finally a sheepshead! I’ve stayed at 5 different places on the Island in the past 3+ years and this is at the top! Thanks to the Marks!

Amazing Location!

We loved everything about this property. The house is beautiful. It was stocked well and very clean. Outdoor space is nice and has a gas grill. You couldn’t ask for a better location. The bay in the backyard and ocean view from the front. Just book it. You want regret it!

Great Home and Hosts

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Kevin and Melissa's home. Communication was great with an easy check in process. The home was very clean and well stocked. There is a nice view of the bay from the deck. It is a very easy walk to the beach, even for younger kids. Dauphin Island is great place to relax and take it easy. We enjoyed some time at the aquarium, fort and of course the beach. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Best family getaway

We loved Marks the Spot! It was the perfect location for a relaxing and quiet getaway. It was easy to find and we were able to tie our boat up at the dock and use it all week long! The girls’ favorite part was the swing downstairs and the house was perfect for our family of 4. Very clean, nicely decorated and had all that we needed!

Perfect Spring Break Getaway

We spent 4 nights on the island! The house is right on the bay and only a short walk (2-3 minutes) from the beach! The house was very clean and the host was very friendly before and throughout our trip. We had a blast at the Fort, playing mini golf, going to the aquarium, visiting the bird sanctuary, of course multiple trips to the beach, and relaxing on the dock! We will definitely come back to DI!

Lovely home, very well appointed kitchen, awesome views off the back porch and dock. The outdoor lighting was helpful at night. A very easy walk to the beach from the house. Kevin made sure we were familiar with the workings of the house and readily available for questions should they arrive.

Marks is THE SPOT!

We stayed here in March for 5 nights during our Wisconsin “Spring Break.” My husband and I have been to Dauphin before and we were excited to bring along our 11 year old. First, we loved the location of the property. We fished everyday off the very large dock, and also walked everyday the 5 minutes over to the Gulf via easy access. This location was ideal for us! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house was very clean, tastefully decorated, and well-stocked (plenty of dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, towels) and the welcome goodies were very unexpected and thoughtful. We also liked the layout of the house, having the master bedroom on one side of the house and the other bedrooms on the other side. The main area was large and perfect for visiting while cooking or watching TV. We spent lots of time outside in the hammock, reading on the deck, and fishing off the dock. This was definitely a highlight of the property. While there, we needed to communicate with the property owners over a couple of issues, and they were very responsive. I can’t say enough positive things about Marks the Spot! We would love to return to this property in the future.

Our guest enjoy having the best of both worlds of being on the water with their own personal dock and also having such easy access to the beach. The walk from the house to the beach takes about 4-5 minutes.
