Amazing place! Canât be more in nature then this! This was our second stay and we WILL stay again! Communication and attention to detail is just mind blowing. We love exploring the area just as much as going into the park! I promise, book it!!
This property was excellent. Really spacious and well equipped and very lovingly and tastefully decorated. The location is excellent for access to the north entrance of Yellowstone and you are situated between Gardiner and Emigrant both of which are a short drive. It really felt like something special and totally Montana.
This was a wonderful place to stay! The bunkhouse was clean and well stocked. Communication with Suzette was excellent. I would 100% recommend this property.
We stayed in the Bunkhouse, which was very nice. Suzzette made sure the place was stocked. All we had to get were groceries. The view was spectacular and we were approximately 21 miles to North entrance to Yellowstone. We would highly recommend a stay there! Cozy, comfortable place to relax!
Beautiful location! Hay field right down the road is perfect for seeing bears! Just be prepared to have no service, wasnât even wifi! But it was so peaceful and relaxing! COLD river at the entrance but definitely worth swimming. We have already talked about coming back!
We loved our stay and the views were truly amazing. Suzette was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Would definitely recommend the bunkhouse!
Everything about this place is magical. We visited the Tetons and Yellowstone, but couldn't wait to get back to this slice of heaven tucked away in the mountains. Everything we could possibly need was provided. We enjoyed driving down the road and viewing all the wildlife. My son loved fishing in the Yellowstone river.
The bunkhouse was very clean, decorated cute, plenty of supplies and cookware, Suzette was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would stay here again.
The Bunkhouse was a lovely retreat in the mountains just outside of Yellowstone. The drive to the park each day was easy and picturesque. The Bunkhouse itself was somehow both spacious for our family of four and cozy. There was everything we needed. Suzette was super responsive and helpful. If we come out to the area again, weâd love to stay here again. Highly recommended!!
We loved our stay at the bunkhouse! It is beautifully furnished and provided everything you could ask for except your food. We saw wildlife every day and soaked in the snow-capped mountains. Very convenient to Yellowstone and Gardiner too. Suzette is a fantastic host and makes sure your stay is memorable.
The cabin was exactly as shown on Vrbo and was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking, etc. Check-in was a breeze and the beds were very comfy. Each evening 24-25 horses would come down to graze in the field opposite the cabin. We also saw Elk & pronghorn sheep. My husband saw a fox trotting down the dirt road on the last morning we were there. The location was perfect - about 30 min drive into Gardiner and Yellowstone North entrance. We enjoyed dinner out in Emigrant & at the Sage Lodge in Pray, Mt (Lodge food was pricey & very small portions.)Communication with Suzette was easy and quickly replied to. She was an excellent host. A MUST DO - Drive down Old Yellowstone Road at dusk & you will see herds of Elk and some horses. It is just off the road to the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay. We were cozy in our cabin even when temps dipped to 38 degrees at night.
We loved our stay here. It's a beautiful place in a very secluded area. The host really tries to make sure that everything that you need besides food is available. I'd definitely stay here again if we ever return to Yellowstone.
Bunkhouse was perfect in every way. Clean, comfortable and no need unmet for 5 day stay. Great WiFi, TV, kitchen supplies, etc. Suzette did everything to make our stay perfect. Wouldn't change a thing, except to make plans to stay here again next year!
The Bunkhouse was the perfect accommodation for us. Manager was easy to communicate with and answered questions promptly.Close to Yellowstone for a convenient base of operations. Saw literally hundreds of elk near the property on driving out at daylight each day, also some antelope and deer. Very clean and just as described. All you need to bring is what you eat. Close enough to Emigrate and Gardiner for eating out if you prefer. 10 out 10 rating.
Amenities were outstanding and Suzette was great. She answered all our questions and provided helpful information about the area. The location was absolutely beautiful. Driving the gravel road added to the adventure! We hope to return.
This rental was one of the nicest we have ever stayed at. It was well stocked, Suzette has thought of so many details. There is even a map of the park with distances to key locations posted by how long the drive is, extra binoculars (we had our own but that is such a great extra), coolers, and bear spray. The bunkhouse was quiet and clean. My two favorite things. Saw a good amount of animals when we were there. It was smokey most of the time due to fires so it was nice to have somewhere to retreat to.
The property is in the perfect location if you're looking for some peace and quiet along with your adventure. The road leading up is gravel but it added to the excitement due to the incredible views and we were able to see a ton of wildlife just on the drive itself. The bunkhouse is very comfortable and is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals (just add groceries), do laundry (detergent and softener provided), or just chill after a long day in Yellowstone (the commute there and back seems to take no time at all!). It's extremely clean, well looked after, and Suzette was very quick to reply if we had any questions - I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better place to stay.
Our family were looking for a cabin/house that was near Yellowstone but also quiet and felt like a retreat and this bunkhouse definitely was that. The house had everything we needed and some that we didn't think of, I usually pack everything but the kitchen sink and this house I didn't need to. Looking out the living room window to see a mountain and horses was awesome and we did see the deer everyone mentioned in the previous reviews laying under the trailer around the side, pretty cool! The only downside I would have to say was that the bridge was not available to cross as they had not completed it yet from it being washed out from flooding so it took a bit longer to reach the main road and the road having to travel definitely needed some maintenance from either the state or county. But overall, it was a wonderful stay and if we come back to the area, we would stay again! Thank you for sharing your house and view!
We had a great time at the bunkhouse. The property was so well equipped, it had everything we could have ever imagined needing. We drove up through Yellowstone on our arrival day and made a few stops, we saw people with binoculars and immediately realized we made a huge mistake not purchasing and bringing a pair with us, we walked in the front door and there were binoculars right on the coffee table, amazing!! I knew we were going to be about 35 minutes from Yellowstone when we booked but what I didnât take in to account was how big Yellowstone is and an extra 35 minutes each way was a lot more driving. Just something to be aware of but is in no way reflective of the amazing property. Coming back to the peacefulness of the bunkhouse does compensate for the extra time tgough
The Bunkhouse was cozy and had everything we needed after long days in the park. Truly a hidden gem and a great place to get away from the crowds. Beautiful views and lots of wildlife right from the front porch!
We had a great trip to Yellowstone with the Bunkhouse as our home base. The place is in a beautiful, somewhat remote, setting with mountain views and wildlife right outside the door. The house is so well stocked, the host thought of everything you could possibly need! The only downside is that the trip up the mountain is fairly long, and with the bridge still out from previous flooding, it takes about 40-45 minutes to get to Yellowstone. I can imagine when the bridge opens back up it would probably cut that time almost in half. This minor inconvenience was totally worth it for such a beautiful place to stay! Definitely one of the very best vacation rentals we have ever been to.
If you are visiting yellowstone this is the place to stay at
Very comfortable place with access to yellowstone through Gandiner Mt., The cabin was very clean and had a ton of off hand item that we forgot while shopping in Livingston, The beds were very soft and comfortable and the kitchen had every item you would need to cook any meal, Outside of the cabin, we had mule deer every morning and night walking around it. We spent 12-14 hours day visiting yellowstone and Grand Tetons and the owner made sure we had everything we needed to relax after of day of exploring.
If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place for you! In a quiet location, away from the tourist hotspots of Yellowstone National Park, you can enjoy the beauty of Montana. Many animals can be observed, we even saw bears.
The people are all very friendly. The Bunkhouse is well equipped and exceptionally clean. Suzette is the perfect Host, provides accurate information and takes great care of her guests. We would come again in herantrat.
