5 Stars – Perfect Beach Staycation!

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped—everything we needed for a great getaway. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, and we lucked out with beautiful weather the entire time. The pool was a huge bonus and made it easy to enjoy the sun without even leaving the property. The host was accommodating and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stress-free beach stay!

Home by the Beach

Home was very clean and beds comfortable. Short walk to the beach and added bonus of beautiful pool and hot tub. We really enjoyed our stay and it was pet friendly!

Home away from home

The house was perfect for a quiet stay away from my busy life. The neighborhood is very peaceful and is reasonably close to everything you would want to do while in St. Augustine. The house is very clean and come with entertainment like books, puzzles, and some TVs. I would definitely recommend this location and host.

The furniture is worn out. Saggy beds, couches, and chairs. No cable TV or local channels. I do not recommend this place unless you are a fan of Motel 6.

Great little oasis away from the beach!

Our family loved the house, especially the pool and the huge primary bathroom shower. The property was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the owners were great. We were notified early of anyone coming by for pool, lawn or heating/air maintenance. The house is only a short walk to the beach and maybe a 3 minute drive to the 4x4 beach entrance. Overall it was a fantastic trip and we will definitely book again in the future!

Very Relaxing Atmosphere!!

Our family loved our time at this beautiful home! We loved the pool and outdoor sitting area. The beach was literally 3-4 minutes from the house. We would definitely stay again!!

Great stay

Great stay for group of 5! Loved the pool and layout of the house!! The Butler state park east was a great place to park with beach access and very close to this location. I wouldn't recommend walking if you have a lot of beach gear.

We will definitely come back to this property. It was clean, well stocked. The location was perfect in a quiet residential neighborhood not 10 minutes from St. Augustine. The property owner was wonderful. Full of great and concise information. You can't go wrong here.

This property was perfect for our large family! The pool area was really nice. Spacious place and plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Will definitely be back!

Love the spacious home in quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out! Location is great for privacy but easy access to historical areas (within 5 miles!) and within a short driving distance to free public beach access. My grandkids LOVED the pool. The adults loved the hot tub and sitting area outside. Highly recommended and would definitely go back and choose this home every time!

Great house, great location, not so great property manager

Let me start with the positive. It is a beautiful house in a great location! Bikes and chairs are provided which is awesome! The pool was so nice to have right in the backyard! The manager David responded quickly to my questions, and his wife was kind enough to bring over extra sheets for the fold out couch. The floors were very dirty and covered in sand and dust bunnies and the broom provided was pretty shabby, so we just bought one at the dollar tree and swept up as good as we could. Not a big deal, I figured I would let David know at the end of our stay just so he could inform the cleaning crew. We had a lovely time and were sad to see it end so quickly. We are always very respectful of the houses we rent and leave them as clean as possible. Before leaving we made sure to check everything off the list and send David a copy per request. I get a text from David shortly after leaving saying that there was a stain on one of the couch cushions that looks like something was spilled and he would try and get it clean, but if not he would let me know what I needed to do. I knew we hadn’t had any drinks in there, so I text my MIL to see if maybe they accidentally had a spill and she informed me that when they first arrived and were waiting for us she went in to look around and after went to sit down on the couch and noticed the stain and felt it to make sure it wasn’t wet before she sat. I told David this and also suggested to him that maybe the cleaning crew missed it since they didn’t do a great job at cleaning the floors. I would want to know if the people I was paying to clean weren’t doing their jobs properly so I figured he would also. He responded with and I quote, “Wow. Not only you do not report the damage. But now you come on the offensive putting down the house.” I told him I wasn’t trying to put down the house it was very lovely, but I don’t think it’s our job to report a stain on a couch cushion that was already there. Again he was very short and rude with his response and said he would “eat the cost of the damages like he normally does.” My husband tried to call him to settle this dispute but could not get a word in due to David loudly talking over him and eventually hanging up on us. I felt like he was trying to get out of returning our deposit, which he begrudgingly and thankfully did return it in the end. I was sad to end on such a sour note after such a sweet vacation.

Great rental close to beach

This property is amazing. 1/2 mile walk to the beach, located in a great neighborhood, and not too bad a drive to historic St. Augustine. Accommodated 3 adult couples comfortably. Pool area and back yard is a wonderful gathering area. The property manager was excellent to teal with from start to finish. We could not have been happier with this rental.
