Absolutely fabulous property; such a pleasant surprise for us. The size, decor, amenities were all just perfect for us during our 3-night stay. Wonderful stay, beautiful home and welcoming owners!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. It was in a great location in Falmouth, close to all the necessities and great restaurants. Also to mention, there’s a great little market across the street in less than a minute walk. To say this home was immaculately clean is an understatement! Fully stocked with everything needed. The owners made our stay welcoming with so many extra personal touches that made our stay from start to finish an excellent experience! Highly recommend this home. Thank you to Markie and her beautiful family for a great stay!

Home away from home.

Great location with a bike/walking trail just up the block. Easy access to highway and very convenient market across the street. After a long day of sightseeing it was a pleasure to come back here to relax.

House had everything we needed

The house was very nice, clean, and in a good location for exploring the cape. Loved the West Falmouth Market across the street. We got breakfast from there every morning. Old Silver beach, just minutes away, was great… with white powdery sand. We loved it and would definitely come back!

A lovely, well-situated place

We liked this house very much. It was bright, clean and roomy and the kitchen was well-equipped. Markie communicates quickly and clearly and is easy to deal with. The decor is charming, and the location (across the street from a great little market and yards from a terrific, scenic bike path) can't be beat.

We had such a wonderful stay. The house was super clean and had that special beach charm

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay on the Cape. I really felt that Falmouth was the right family friendly location for all of us. The owners of the property couldn’t have been nicer. We would highly recommend staying here and plan on doing so again in the future.

Relaxation

This home is beautiful. It was super clean, well thought out, and tastefully decorated. The location can’t be beat. You can walk up the street and be at a beach in minutes if you are inclined to do so. Falmouth is a short drive away, where you will find shops and restaurants. Markie was such a great host. She checked in on us and offered veggies from her garden! I highly recommend.

Just Perfect

Everything about this rental was perfect. Location was great. Being across the street from the market was handy for morning coffee. It was also close to Chapoquoit beach. The house felt brand new. Had everything we could need and owners very responsive. A perfect getaway for our family of 5. Hope to be back next year.

Labor Day weekend at Old Silver

My family of 5 rented the house for the long Labor Day weekend. The house is in a great location, just across the street from the awesome West Falmouth Market and a short drive to Chappy and Old Silver beaches. The house was very clean and well appointed with all the basics covered. Check in was a breeze and Markie was kind enough to let us push our check out back a couple hours to squeeze some extra time in at the beach! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The beds are very firm and would have loved to have a dresser in the primary bedroom, but we would definitely stay again.

Excellent Fresh, Clean, New Home

This house was recently built and meticulously decorated in a sea shore theme. If you enjoy cooking as I do, The kitchen has new appliances and everything needed to cook a full family meal. If you don't cook, there is a food market right across the street that has great food and anything else you might need. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, this is the perfect home for a family vacation. The neighborhood is quiet yet close to everything Falmouth has to offer, beach, boating. shopping, and dinning. Overall I would give this place 6 stars if it were possible.

Perfect location in Falmouth

We loved this house and location. It was just perfect for our 3-day stay on the Cape. The house was perfectly clean with great linens and towels, and stocked kitchen. Right across the street is the most awesome little neighborhood market, with pizza oven, fresh breads, deli, pastries, and wine. A 2-min walk away is a 16-mile rail trail that was great for morning walks. The only disappointment was a charcoal grill instead of a small gas grill. We had in mind to grill one night but it was getting too late to wait for charcoal to get lit. The kitchen table was fine for two of us, but may be an issue for larger group if all beds are filled. However there is an outdoor patio table. We would stay here again.

Great Location with a catch

Location was perfect. Exactly where we wanted to be. The issue is that the house is very small. Although the listing says it can sleep 8, six felt crowded. The common space has room for no more than 4 at a time. Finally, the mattresses were horrible. One full star lost for just the horrible beds. All six of us struggled to sleep. Every bed was the same and needs to be replaced.

Clean, Cozy, Well-Situated West Falmouth Cottage

We highly recommend this clean, cozy, and well-furnished cottage in West Falmouth. The owners, who live next door to the unit, were wonderful people and tremendously helpful in so many respects - for instance, offering us their beach chairs and umbrella when we were in need. We comfortably fit six adults within the cottage, although that may be the limit of what we would suggest. The cottage is conveniently located across the street from a versatile market where we could seemingly find whatever we wanted in terms of food and groceries, and it is only 10-15 minutes from the Falmouth Town Center and Woods Hole, where you can find great shops and high-quality restaurants. Finally, while the cottage is only a mile or two from Chapoquoit Beach and Old Silver Beach, it does cost money to park at those locations. We instead elected to go to Falmouth Heights Beach, only 10-12 minutes away and free to park. We greatly enjoyed it. We cannot say enough good things about this rental. We hope to return.

Perfect Cape base camp

We stayed here an entire glorious week, exploring the western Cape by (rented) bike, by car and on foot. The beautifully appointed, thoughtfully equipped and conveniently located house was a great place to cook, grill, and chill on hot sunny days and on the one rainy one we had. Beautifully landscaped and cared for, with comfortable beds and seating options, our family of five can’t wait to return! Thanks for the pineapple, fresh tomatoes and neighborly chat, Markie!

Sarah and Markie moved from California to Falmouth to be closer to Woods Hole Oceanographic Institiution, and quickly fell in love with the seasons, the beauty, and the people of Cape Cod. Sarah is a marine biologist and Markie works in film. They've been married for three years and are addicted to jigsaw puzzles.

West Falmouth is a special place. It's off the typical path for a lot of tourists, yet it's close to everything you could want. The community is close knit and full of pride for their neighborhood. The sunsets over the water make this area really special.
