Excellent experience being at the lake for the week. Plenty of room for our large family. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The lake access was perfect for swimming and playing on the beach. This was our second year to stay and we were not disappointed. The host was very pleasant and quick to answer any questions. We would definitely recommend the Blue House to anyone looking for the perfect getaway location.

My family of 12 ages from 3 to 68 enjoyed our stay at Sara's Blue lake home. There was so much to do that there was no reason to be bored. The house is so big with many areas that you could choose to be together or find a quite space to read a book. If your thinking about booking stop thinking, just do it you won't be sorry.

This was our first time at the Blue House and we were more than pleasantly surprised! It was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items and toys/activities for outdoors. The beach was a hit with our 5 grands (ages 1-6). We had a few questions and Sara was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and book again!

Such a glorious stay! I only wish it had been longer and warmer weather! I chose this property for a place to stay for my daughter’s wedding that was nearby. It was the perfect choice! I was so happy to host the bride and her bridesmaids the night before the wedding and extended family the night of. Literally, everyone talked about when we could come back! The view is spectacular! The decor, furnishings… set up… absolutely perfect for excellent conversations, and/or peaceful time when needed. There is enough space to spread out and come together. It is splendid blend of what is needed…. for a tranquil gathering of family and friends! The gigantic bunk rooms and game room in the basement is far larger than I expected. It would be a dream come true for a bunch of kids! We stayed so busy with wedding festivities, that we didn’t spend nearly as much time there as I would have liked to, but it was exactly perfect for what we needed! The owner communicated really well and instructions were clear. Loved it!

Wonderful Lake House!!

We had such a wonderful family vacation here! The house was so spacious and clean and the backyard/lake is amazing. The amenities they included were helpful, and the beach toys (paddle boards, kayaks, sand toys, life jackets, etc.) were used so many times during the week. We would love to stay here again on the future!

Beautiful lake house!

This was a perfect house for our 16 member family trip (8 adults and 8 kids, ages 5-13). The decks were beautiful and spacious - we ate most meals outside - and the bunk room was perfect for the kids. Great space and great hosts!

Great multi family house

Our three families stayed on the lake for a week. The sandy beach was great for our young children. Lots of water toys for everyone provided by the owner.

The house was amazing with tons of space for our multiple families without feeling like we were right on top of each other. The house was very clean with lots of little extras throughout the house. We appreciated all the water toys (paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, paddle boat) and the large firepit on the beach. Can not express enough how fabulous our stay was.

I can’t say enough good things about the property! So much to do, so clean, fully stocked everything and beds were soo comfortable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again next year! You won’t regret renting this little slice of paradise!

Great family home

Highly recommend this home. The layout is perfect with many bedrooms beds and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked with every appliance and utensil needed. Our six grandchildren spent hours playing on the beach and swimming. Lots of outdoor toys, the dock to fish from, paddle boat swimming platform and more. Definitely recommend!!!

Blue house on Sand Lake

Everything was just like the photos on VRBO. Clean, comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed fishing, swimming (though a little mucky) boating and just hanging out together. Owners were responsive to some small things that came up. Great place to spend the week with family.

House was super great, super clean, had all of the things you could want- dishes, games, multiple paddleboards and kayaks, fridge space, plenty of parking spaces, more than enough room at dining tables inside and out, best deck seating we have had after renting lake houses for over 20 years, great views of lake, great bonfire location and seating, safe neighborhood to run or walk in.
