Great space & perfect for a nice family getaway!

Property hosts were super responsive & very friendly. The private pool was perfect for cooling off in the evenings and we really enjoyed our stay!

Excellent Stay

The property was clean and on a secluded lot in an older private neighborhood. Very convenient to our visit. The host was very responsive and very helpful with the check in checkout process.

Great relaxing vacation

Wonderful location and the pool was amazing! Due to Covid19 we mostly stayed home and swam every day. Thanks for the thoughtful welcome basket and a terrific home!

Loved our stay. It is a home away from home. Close to area attractions. Quiet neighborhood. We spent a lot of time at the pool and enjoyed the time with our family.

Great place outside of San Antonio

Very nice Pool and outdoor area! Everything was clean and it was very spacious. We had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to communication.

Awesome Place

House was perfect, it was so inviting. Homeowners were very helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Pool was clean and big. Paradaise canyon was a short drive and was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in SA area.

Sherri was very nice and helpful and even went out of her way to get toys and gifts for my Autistic daughter. House was secluded but still close to the city so you get the best of both worlds.

Love staying here

This is our 3rd time staying here. We absolutely love it. The privacy is amazing. We always have nature to enjoy. Sherry is always attentive to our needs and always leaves a nice gift basket not only for the adults but the kids as well.

San Antonio trip

It was a nice quiet neighborhood it’s a little dark at night it needs just a little bite more light but rather than that everything was great.

Thanks Bianca. We appreciate your feedback. The neighborhood is very quiet and makes for a relaxing night after a long day of adventures. We try to keep the mood around the pool relaxing as well and have the lights around the back fence, motion detection lights, lanterns on the tables, and the back porch light. We are looking at adding some additional ambient lighting hopefully before next summer. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hopefully you will come visit us agaun!

Great Place to Stay for families

We had a very pleasant stay after 14 hours in the car. We showed up after hours and it was very clear and easy what to do. Our cabin was ready for us. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Customer service was great! We enjoyed the location. It was also affordable for my family. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!

Reunion in San Antonio

My 94 year old mom said it was one of the best vacations she has ever had. Seeing her family and being able to make memories together was wonderful. The outdoor screen house, if cleaned and screens replaced, would be a great space. The indoor space is decorated very nicely and was plenty of room for all.

Great bachelorette getaway

My wedding party and I had an excellent time. We were given a very clean and private place to rest. The pool was immaculate and the property was great. The owners had a great line of communication and it was helpful that they sent a check out list. I hope to go back in the future with my soon to be husband.

House is in a wonderful location. There was a special treat basket that had some tasty treats in it. This was a thoughtful addition. House was exactly as described. It suited our family's needs perfectly. The outdoor space was really nice in the Texas July heat! I will definitely be booking in future.

Peaceful getaway

House is a bit outside of town, which was the ideal setting for our peaceful getaway. It is a 35-40 minute drive to downtown San Antonio, which entertained our family during the day…and got us ready for a refreshing swim when we got back to the house. The hosts were generous with their hospitality, but also gave us space to enjoy ourselves.

Nice Home

Home was nice. Our boys really enjoyed the pool. House is about 30 minutes from everywhere you want to go in San Antonio, but that is due to the plethora of road construction just as much as distance. Located on the west side of town as well.

The road construction is hopefully going to be completed soon as it will open up additional lanes both directions and make travel easier in the area. The area has grown so much in the past few years the roads now need to adapt. There is the newly completed HWY 211 which is an easy shot to a big HEB, several restaurants and access to HWY 90. It is only about 1/2 mile from the subdivision. Hopefully, you will come and visit us again. We appreciate you choosing to stay in our home.

Peaceful setting

We had a wonderful time staying in this home while visiting our Airman. Temperatures were 106-110 degrees each day, so the pool was very much enjoyed! The home is well stocked, so we didn’t need anything. The welcome basket was very nice and appreciated. I enjoyed feeling removed from the city yet only being minutes away by driving.

John, We apologize that you felt your stay was "good" and only deserved an "average" rating . We strive to ensure our guests are having a wonderful time and even check in with them during their stay to see if anything is needed. Nothing was ever mentioned during any of those check ins. We are local so most items can be addresses rather quickly. We provide more amenities in the home than most because we know what it is like to travel. We also provide a special gift to say thank you to our guests for choosing our home. Not because we have to however because we want to. So again we are sorry we did not exceed your expectations which is always our goal.

Country-Like Setting / Close to City

We enjoyed our stay at this home earlier this month. The property is thick with trees so it feels like staying in the country even though we were just minuted away from all of the stores, restaurants, etc. The home was as expected with lots of little extras. We appreciated the way the owners took our needs into account with the planning and extra touches. Also, the pool was GREAT!! It was the perfect place to both unwind at the end of the day AND to get the day started!

You are so very welcome Melissa! We left the trees for that specific reason. So nice to be able to come home after a day in town and feel like you are in the country. Having a Government area behind us helps with it being quiet and relaxing. The amenities we leave are just our special way of saying thank you for choosing to stay with us. We also try and remember some of the little things to help like coffee, sugar, tea bags, popcorn and the Texas welcome basket. The breakfast is a given after a full day of travel. Glad you appreciated them. Hope you will come and visit us again!

June 3rd until June 8th, it was exactly what we wanted.The home is not in the city but convenient to Sea World, the Alamo and other vacation hot spots. It is quiet, secluded on a treed lot, and everyone loved the pool.Marco’s Pizza delivers and Tink a Tako has fabulous Mexican food, dine in or drive thru located about 5 minutes from the home. Our host were wonderful and we would absolutely stay again. Check out Mi Tierra Cafe y Panaderia for good food and bakery items plus it’s surrounded by all sorts of shops. We wanted a home we could relax and enjoy time with our kids and grandchildren, this was it.

Great experience

We came to the area for our son's graduation from the Air Force and this was our first experience with renting a home. I will say it was a great experience. The owners were easy to contact and made sure all of our needs and necessities were met. They was also very knowledgeable about the area and things to do in the area. We did not have much time since we was mainly just happy to see and be with our son and had a place to bring him to on Thanksgiving. The house was very comfortable and spacious and the neighborhood was great and very friendly. This was one of the best trips we have taken and alot had to do with being in this home. We would definitely stay here again if we ever make back to the area. Bill and Sherri and are great to work with and if you have a chance to rent this wonderful place, do it, dont pass on this opportunity. Thank you Bill and Sherri for giving us this experience.
