Fantastic location and charming/quirky appartment. Would definitely go backA bit of a confusing process to get the keys at first but after that good process
This apartment is in an ideal location, a block from the Cathedral and walkable to everywhere in central Aix. It is clean and airy with all the expected conveniences. There is no air conditioning but there are plenty of fans. There are steps up to the toilet and also to the shower which is awkward for anyone with impairedMobility. Overall this is a great and convenient place to stayâhighly recommended!
I enjoyed an extended stay in the charming apartment that has a very "period" feel in the heard of the old town section of Aix. The apartment has everything you need for an extended stay. Marie, the owner, is extremely helpful and aims to ensured that I had everything I needed for a positive stay. The location is superb, very convenient to the old town and all it has to offer. I would definitely stay again.
We spent 3 nights in the heart of the Old City. Checking in and out, we had good communication. Note, there are a number of stairs to the apartment.I would recommend.
I loved staying here-the neighborhood, being in an old building but with a cute, funky retro interior. Stayed for 3 weeks and it felt very comfortable. Host was very responsive whenever I needed to contact her.
The apartment itself is full of charm, and the location canât be beat. Noemi is very kind and helpful. I had an absolutely wonderful stay, the city is enchanting and everything is easily walkable from the apartment, I hope to return one day!
Excellently situated apartment, right in the centre. Clean, well-equipped and quiet. Communication with the property owner and manager was first rate. Highly recommended.
Aix en Provence is beautiful. The apartment was convenient to everything in the village. The WiFi hardly worked which was very frustrating, it was difficult to get our host to respond. Our weekend stay in the village and surrounding area was wonderful but our apartment stay was just ok..
Exploring Aix en Province while escaping the Canadian wi ter
I stayed in this lovely apartment for a week in the old city close to the sites. As it is within a pedestrian area it was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen living room faced onto a courtyard allowing the sunlight into the space. The kitchen was well equipped. Noemi met me in the town square and took me to the apartment a few minutes walk away and showed me around.
Very nice apartment in an excellent location near the historic centre. On 3rd floor with spiral staircase. Very good wifi and well equipped apartment. Toilet off launch and up a stair which is a little odd but itâs in an old building. Washer/dryer and dishwasher all appreciated.
My husband and I booked this apartment for a week in February. The location in the historic central city of Aix is excellent with a plethora of shops, restaurants, cafes, and other amenities nearby. The apartment itself is in a historic building with some of the quirky features inherent to structures like this (winding entry stairs and a toilet room separate from and across the apartment from the room with a sink and shower). The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, which is great for cooking in, and the shower/bathroom sink area looks recently redone. Overall the apartment was comfortable and we would there stay again. However, it had the feeling of not having been occupied for some time before we arrived. It was very dusty and the floors were dirty throughout. Not a dealbreaker but something worth mentioning.
The location in the old town was very close to the center. And the apartment was in a quiet corner, away from the crowds. It was perfect. A two minute walk to many restaurants and historic sights. I loved the old building. It made me feel like a part of the old neighborhood. I could watch the street activity morning and evening from the window. I liked hearing the church bells too. The apartment was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bed was one of the best I ever slept in. I highly recommend this apartment.
The apartment was exactly as described. It is right in the middle of Old Aix, three minutes walk to the Cathedral and Cour Mirabeau and close to everything. It is well furnished, comfortable and well equipped.
We had an issue with the TV and Noemie was over in an instant to assist us. Great place that I would recommend to anyone. I would not recommend if you have mobility issues as the apartment is on the second floor of an older building with circular stairwell. It could be charming for some but challenging for others.
My wife and I had a lovely time in Marie-Pierre's apartment in the heart of Aix! It is very conveniently located near the town square and also from a parking lot. The apartment is very clean and has plenty of amenities. My wife is usually hesitant to use vacation rentals but was impressed with the apartment's cleanliness. The apartment is located on a quiet street and the neighbors are nice, so you will get a restful night's sleep! The internet was fast and the TV had many more channels than most of the hotels we stayed at on our trip. There is an amazing madeline shop around the corner from the apartment that I went to every morning to pick up a dozen madeleines!
Some minor annoyances: the apartment door is a little heavy to push open and the entrance to the building was a little difficult to find.
Overall, for the price point and the amenities provided, you simply cannot go wrong with this place!
Charming location, close to restaurants and market
We enjoyed our stay. The flat is quirky and individual, which we liked. The toilet arrangement (up some awkward stairs off the kitchen) is a bit strange. And it wouldnât suit anyone with mobility issues as itâs up two flights of spiral stairs. The property is very quiet and peaceful despite being very close to the centre. The restaurant next door is excellent.
