Beautiful Studio in a historical hamlet near Chinon and the Loire Valley Castles
This studio is a small and cosy, fully furnished, eco-renovated apartment situated just around the corner from our B&B La Closerie Saint Martin and is accessed via a flight of stairs. The building dates from the 18th century and is built from local limestone. It has been recently fully renovated using local and natural building materials. There is a large open-plan living and dining room with a kitchenette, plus a modern bathroom with a large shower. A gallery with a large double bed (160x200 cm) is reached by an open staircase (downstairs 30 m2, upstairs 15 m2). Outside you will find our vegetable garden, a small outdoor seating area and our bicycle room which has laundry facilities. The latter is also used by the B&B guests. Another adjoining building which is currently empty and not renovated may be used by artists among our guests as a workroom if requested. Our studio is designed for two people and is unfortunately not suitable for babies and young children. The minimum length of stay is five days.
Perfect weekend away with my dog and bike. Loads of running, cycling and Hiking. The area is stunning and the accommodation is pristine. I have no complaints
Peaceful and rural but close enough all the attractions of the Loire valley
This is a tranquil and pretty property that has a lovely country garden with seating area. The property is very clean and modern but in keeping with the old architecture of the hamlet. There are plenty of countryside walks and it is close to chinon and richeleau for entertainment and food and drink. Very relaxing and very attentive hosts who are close by in the b&b.
We (Kathi and Marcel) are a french couple of Swiss origins. As Ambassadeurs to the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Nature Park we are very knowledgeable about our beloved Loire Valley. We do speak English, french, german and spanish. We are always around for a chat or to give you suggestions on how to make the most out of your stay in the Loire Valley.
As seasoned world travellers we know exactlly what you are looking for in a place to stay. Not just a clean bed and a cosy room but a great experience, feeling part of the place you visit and discovering that little bit more than others :-)
