The property was absolutely beautiful. Picturesque view, lovely decor, spotless, and even better than the images could possibly reflect. Out hosts went above and beyond to ensure that we had an extremely easy check in process. They made themselves available to answer any questions we had and provided fabulous recommendations for dining, touring, and entertainment in the area. Highly recommend! You will NOT be disappointed.

Amazing and tranquil

Property was great! Clean, well maintained, quiet…the perfect retreat for couples. The hosts were great with communications, gave great recommendations for local food and shopping, and the property was perfectly located near all the highlights of the area. Will definitely keep on the list anytime we’re back in the area.

Wine Weekend

As a local NE Ohio musician, it's not always prudent to play an event and then do the requisite tear down, pack/load out and then drive an hour+ back home. Fortunately my wife and I found Robert and Ruby Keyerleber at The Grandview in Madison! Their property was absolutely perfect! We stayed two nights on a beautiful July weekend and the accommodations couldn't have been better! Robert and Ruby were perfect hosts and made our stay easy, comfortable and just a joy for the weekend! They offered a plethora of information regarding local venues to visit, making our time in the area truly special! We hope to return soon!

Peaceful and magical stay in the winery district

This was definitely a rare gem we found. Our hosts were attentive and caring the whole weekend. The landscape was amazing so peaceful. My husband and I were on an anniversary trip and they picked up on that and even left us a special something! I have already recommended it to our friends. We will definitely be staying here again.

Grandview Retreat

My family stayed from Friday to Sunday great place to have a relaxing quiet getaway. If you are in town to explore the vineyards..excellent place to stay! It’s close to all vineyards or distilleries. I would have loved an outdoor space to go at night ..I think the area that had the swing along the Grand River would’ve made a great place to have a fire pit and outdoor space for your guests as well!!

So much more luxury than I expected.

I highly recommend this apartment for a weekend get-away. I would definitely stay here again. The host was very welcoming, and the grounds are very beautiful and serene. The apartment was spacious, well decorated, very comfortable and included amenities that I hadn't expected. Both the bed and sleeper sofa were very comfortable. The bathroom towels were soft and luxurious. The entire apartment is very beautifully decorated. The owners included various items to enhance our stay. As we entered the kitchen we found a bowl of fresh fruit, a basket of various snacks, and a few chocolates. In addition to supplying kitchen necessities, they also provided a Nespresso coffee maker, pods, and a Nespresso frother. There was also a French press and gourmet ground coffee. In the refrigerator we found a complementary bottle of wine from a local winery, a variety of bottled waters, and milk for frothing. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a variety of flowers and various trees. Throughout the day several hummingbirds visited a bird feeder that hung outside our kitchen window. The beautiful Grand River could be viewed from the living room window. The apartment is located near many wineries. Our favorites were Grand River Cellars, Debonne Vineyards, Laurello, and M Cellars.

Excellent place to stay

Robert and Ruby are excellent and the apartment is top notch. You will not find anything better in the area. Beautiful property, great views, super friendly couple and spared no expense on the amenities supplied. Definitely recommend! Thanks for going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

What a wonderful experience!

From start to finish, this host and property. far exceeded my expectation. Beautiful grounds with amazing floral beds, the scenic view of the Grand River to sit and enjoy morning coffee, and impeccable suite furnished tastefully with decor from their travels. A fully furnished kitchen with snacks, a bottle of wine, fruit. Such thoughtful attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We intend to stay again in March for the Ice Wine festival. You won't be disappointed! Thanks Robert and Ruby!

Lovely Place to Stay

We came to the area to visit family and this was the perfect place to stay. They have thoughtful touches throughout the place. The grounds were absolutely beautiful! When you look out the windows it looks like you are in a treehouse and you also have a lovely view of the river. It’s quiet and just a great place to stay. When we come back we will definitely see if this is available. Our family was so impressed they will refer people here as well. Thanks so much!

Outstanding Weekend!!

My wife and I had planned a get-a-way weekend in Grand River Valley Wine Country and discovered the "Grandview" property on VRBO. Boy, are we glad we did! The 'Grandview" is located on a secluded property overlooking the bend in the Grand River. Our guest suite rose high above the river with a breathtaking view out our picture window. The spacious suite was impeccably furnished and sparkling clean. Robert and Ruby even provided a complimentary bottle of wine from "M Cellars", a local winery, as well a fruit basket, snacks and even an expresso machine with expresso cartridges. First class! We are already planning our next visit to Lake Erie wine country and will most definitely stay at the "Grandview". Thank you, Robert and Ruby, for being such great hosts.

Amazing place to stay

This place was an amazing place to stay. It has its on private entrance with a beautiful view. Someone met us when we arrived at the property to show us around. They allowed us to have an early check in and late check out since we were there for our honeymoon. Extremely clean and close to amazing wineries. Highly recommend.
