Une belle ferme blanche construite par le regrettĂ© Tony Debevc, propriĂ©taire de Debonne Vineyards Ă  Madison, dans l'Ohio. Tony a construit cette charmante maison pour sa femme, Rose, et ses deux enfants, Donniella et Tony. L'emplacement est parfait, Ă  seulement quelques pas des vignobles de Debonne et Ă  quelques minutes en voiture de nombreux Ă©tablissements vinicoles situĂ©s dans la vallĂ©e de la riviĂšre Grand. Le chalet se trouve Ă  10 minutes en voiture de GenĂšve sur le lac et est situĂ© sur 50 hectares magnifiques. Les locataires ont accĂšs Ă  la pĂȘche et peuvent profiter d'une promenade paisible Ă  travers le champ qui mĂšne Ă  la grande riviĂšre. La maison a Ă©tĂ© rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e avec des amĂ©liorations modernes tout en gardant le charme et l'amour de Rose et Tony. La salle de patio a une table de billard en taille rĂ©elle et un jeu de flĂ©chettes pour beaucoup de plaisir le soir ou la pluie. Il y a un sĂ©jour minimum de 2 nuits. Great stay

Comfortable home in the heart of NE Ohio Wine Country! Stayed here for family get together and all enjoyed. We really enjoyed the PAC Man game in the garage/game room!

We would consider another visit. Michele had a fire going when we got there on a 14 degree day. It couldn't have been more welcoming and appreciated.

Weekend Getaway

Hosts were very responsive to questions/concerns we had. House was a time-travel for me as I grew up in an old farmhouse and was delighted with the rustic charm. Much more space than we realized and the game room in the garage was an awesome bonus. Perfect location for wherever we chose to go was a short drive. Storage aplenty. Quiet. Peaceful. Relaxation. You will experience this all.

Lovely getaway

We stayed for 4th of July weekend with friends and had a lovely time. Geneva-on-the-Lake itself was very kitschy, so we were happy to be a short drive away. In addition to bringing bath and kitchen towels, guests should know that there extensive clean-up instructions (including vacuuming) but not a lot of local information. This was especially challenging since we didn't always have a signal for using Google Maps! Michelle was responsive when we called to ask about the on-property walks mentioned in the property description, and her recommendation of Hogback Ridge Park was welcome. It just would have been nice to have more local info, instructions (like that hot and cold are reversed for one shower), and maps.

Wine Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. We planned to visit a few local wineries and the location of this home was right in the heart of all the wineries, with one even within walking distance! The home itself was comfy and cozy for my husband & I and two other couples. Plenty of room, tons of laughs and lots of delicious wine was enjoyed by all. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home nestled in the vineyard. The kitchen was adequately stocked, beds were comfortable and cozy. The home was clean and homey feeling. This is our second visit and we were very pleased both times.

Older farmhouse located in great location for the wineries.

The location was wonderful for the wineries. Only 15 minutes away from Geneva on the lake. Which we took advantage of both. Very peaceful location. The house is a little dated but it fit our purposes. It has well water. I did not know this going in, but they provided bottled water for us to drink. They had air freshener plug in almost every room which I found offensive since I get migraines easily. (Had to unplug and put out in back patio). Overall it was a quaint little farm house in a great location for the wineries.

In the heart of Ohio's Wine Country, the Grand River Valley

It was truly a lovely experience. The home apparently was owned by one of the founding families of the Valley and the pictures , mementos of their history were fascinating. AND, it was just a short drive from over a dozen wineries. A super convenient place for any wine lover. Warm, cozy, well appointed. 100% positive experience.

Homecoming - NE Ohio

The property and surrounding area was even more beautiful than we imagined. We enjoyed our stay and the peaceful quiet surroundings. We couldn't have asked for more. Would most definitely book again and highly recommend the Vineyard Cottage.

Wonderful beyond expectations

We came here with the goal of having a peaceful relaxing anniversary. It was extremely relaxing with plenty of close wineries and Lake Erie. The house is lovely, nicely furnished, extremely clean, and the bed and sheets were beyond comfortable. Wonderful views outside! Great communication with Michelle. It well exceeded our expectations and we would love to stay again.

Great location in the middle of Wineries

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is centrally located in the middle of many wineries and vineyards. The house had air conditioning that was needed due to temps in the upper 80s. The owner communicated very well. Everything you need is right there. The home was very clean. All appliances worked well as well as the WiFi. There’s plenty of parking. The nearest winery is in walking distance. There’s also a park nearby for exercise. We’d stay there again.

Relaxation in the vineyards!

The cottage was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. The property was amazingly peaceful and made for easy access to several wineries, hiking trails, and Lake Erie. Michelle and Chad are wonderful and responsive and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met. We had an awesome time and will return again.

Wonderful place for a weekend away

My sisters and I enjoyed a long weekend at the cottage, having not seen each other since summer 2019. It was a great place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We enjoyed touring the covered bridges and sampled some of the local vineyards in the area. The living room and bedrooms of the cottage were immaculate and the beds were very comfortable! I had some of the best sleep I had had in a long time! I would give our stay 5 stars for this alone. The kitchen was well supplied and roomy, though I found that I needed to clean a few things before using them. The showers were small and dark, unfortunately, but clean, which matters the most too me. I just wish they were a tiny bit bigger. The jetted tub was a nice touch, but we didn’t use it. We would have liked to use the fire pit (plenty of chairs available!), but it was a bit too windy the night that would have been best. It does get windy here. I took a star off (I would have taken off half but that wasn’t an option) for accuracy of online listing because it is listed as having a/c but they had not installed the window units yet, and the windows do not seem to open. The upstairs bedroom was uncomfortably hot without a/c once the temperature outside heated up (it was unseasonably warm, so not expected). Fortunately, my sister who had used that room was not staying that night. Michelle was very easy to contact and always replied very quickly. She also gave us a heads-up of any changes or info. It was chilly when we first arrived, and she had a fire burning in the wood stove. Overall, we loved our stay here! If the 3 of us decide to meet up in the area again, we will definitely give Tony and Rose’s another go!

Cute cottage / perfect size

This place is such a cute little cottage and has a fun bathroom for a group to get ready together. The beds were super comfortable and the cottage head plenty of amenities. The only recommendation I would make to the property owner is to provide some more basic essentials, like bath towels, hand towels, dish soap, napkins...things like that. Maybe leave some instructions on how to work the hopper system and the cool double oven. đŸ€Ș

Perfect Getaway

We stayed for the weekend and had a wonderful time, the property was clean and offered all that we needed. Owner was accommodating and more than happy to come and bring us what we wanted. We will be back for sure!!! The location was great, close proximities to several local wineries
