La retraite Streamside Cabin est un endroit merveilleux pour s'asseoir près du ruisseau Big Bushkill, disposer de votre propre feu de camp et profiter de la nature exquise en famille ou entre amis. La cabine dispose de 3 chambres et d'un futon avec 2 salles de bain complètes. Cuisine ouverte et salle à manger avec tous les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, vous donnera le confort de la maison. Cette propriété est extrêmement privée, mais assez proche des autres activités et des magasins. Le ruisseau Bushkill est un ruisseau de truites ensemencé, idéal pour la pêche d'avril à juillet. Vous pouvez également profiter de la descente de la rivière avec nos tubes. Nous fournissons votre bois de chauffage, propane, Wi-Fi et le linge de lit. Harris was friendly and helpful, and came over to greet us when we arrived. Everything was as stated, weather was perfect and we all had an awesome stay. We appreciate a dog friendly rental - our dog had a blast splashing in the water and sniffing around the woods. We saw deer, a weasel, and an eagle that flew over us each evening as we sat at the campfire and listened to the sound of the water. Thank you, Harris!

Harris was great to work with and was able to point us to some good fishing spots on the creek. We had a fire each day down by the creek and there was plent of wood ready to go.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay! The streamside is just a few short steps away. My family and dogs loved sitting by the stream. We enjoyed the firepit at night, making smores and playing boardgames. Our host, Harrison, was very attentive. It was a perfect, peaceful getway.

Lovely spot in the Poconos.

Wonderful stay. The river/creek proximity to the firepit area is hard to beat and our family enjoyed the peacefulness of the cabin and surrounding community. Harris was excellent with plenty of suggestions on getting the most from our time there!

If you're looking to get away to unwind and recharge in the mountains, this is your place! I'd be remiss had I not mentioned that steps away is a river to go fishing, swimming, tubing, or to just enjoy a great fire with friends and family. The house is more than spatious, which includes an enclosed screen porch, allowing you to enjoy nature's music. Peaceful quiet relaxation. The stream in front of the property was great. We spent a lot of time decompressing from everyday life. House is as described and is much bigger than the pictures. Added touches of the extras was very nice (coffee, tubes, rods, paper items etc). We enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Great location!

This house was a perfect fit our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8-9) - there was plenty of space, and the location was amazing (fire pit right on the creek across the small road from the cabin). The kids had a blast swimming and tubing in the creek and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Harris even gave us suggestions on local places to hike!

Relax and recharge

Great place to escape from the real world, but close enough to attractions and restaurants, if needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't all that cooperative, and we didn't get as much streamside relaxation that we would have liked. However, the cabin has heat and AC, and we needed both! Or you could sit on the covered/screened-in porch when the rain is falling. We had everything we needed. Please note that there wasn’t a Mr. Coffee as pictured in the listing. There is a Keurig and a percolator (which my husband knew how to use!). We had a visitor for breakfast one morning. He made quite the mess but was exciting to see! We also saw many deer, two other bears along our travels and also a turkey. This was our second trip to the Poconos and if we return to the area, we’ll definitely contact Harris!

Had a great stay, wish I could have stayed longer! The fire pit by the creek was the most beautiful view. We were fortunate enough to see a bald eagle fly right over the creek. The host was very nice, responsive and accommodating. I will definitely be back at some point.

Peace in the Poconos!

We visited Streamside for a quiet Memorial Say weekend. Everything was as advertised. The setting is beautiful, and the property was clean and spacious. We grilled one night and enjoyed the sounds of the creek we will be back!

Stream lake cabin was surreal.

I needed a quick get away from the city, and this retreat satisfied all the much needed relaxation. I was able to chill out with my one year old puppy and my hubbie had the pleasure of catching many trout in the stream a few feet away. All kitchen appliances were handy, it was great. Many friendly people around including our hosts.

Nice, Roomy House in the Poconos

For a larger group in the Poconos (we had 3 adults and one child), this place can’t be beat. At least 5 people could have their own bed including one in the family room on a Futon. Fire pit was excellent, grills worked great, and the owner provides firewood. Would advise bringing bottled water.

Weekend next to the river

Overall was a great stay, the fire pit next to the river was outstanding. Walks along the quiet river road also outstanding. the cabin size is adequate and comfortable. Harris is great to work with super easy check-in and checkout.

Relax rewind renew

Once again we had a lovely stay at the cabin. This is our 4th stay and will keep coming back because once you find such a place it’s hard to go elsewhere while visiting the area.

Excellent and Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I spent our second Labor Day weekend at the Streamside Cabin. We discovered it last year and loved it so much that we returned this year. Harris is a wonderful host. He greeted us when we arrived to make sure we got settled in. He was available during our stay in case we needed anything. The cabin is lovely: very cozy, clean and has everything you could need. It is particularly good for families since there are a few bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the outdoor screened in porch. Outside there are two gas grills and one charcoal grill. Harris also has provided fishing gear and tubes for use on the stream. Our favorite part of the property is the stream. Sitting there listening to the water is very peaceful. Also near the stream is a firepit. We enjoyed making a fire and sitting by it at night. All in all, this is a great place if you want to get away from the stress of the city and get back to nature. Thanks again, Harris.

Very nice getaway

We planned a last minute getaway for our family and this home was more than ideal for what we needed. The kids enjoyed the home but their favorite was playing in the nearby stream. The owner was very accommodating and responsive if and when we had questions. The home is stocked with everything we needed for our stay and the kitchen is stocked with all the tools necessary for us to prepare meals. The proximity to shopping and activities made this home that much better. Thank you and we can’t wait to stay again…hopefully longer next time.

Could not love this place more!

We fell in love with this place. Spent one full day sitting in the river and swimming. The views of the river in the pictures that look like they came from a brochure? Nope, they are actual views of what you see in the river and even they don’t do it justice. We spent a rainy evening on the screened porch just enjoying the sounds. Host is super nice and anticipated things we needed like the floats and setting up fire pit. We cannot wait to go back!

Relaxing Long Weekend

We came for a long weekend and could not of been happier with the cabin. It’s the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. We enjoyed fishing and tubing in the stream. It’s also close enough to town to shop and stroll Main Street.

Great stay

Great stay in the woods. There were six of us and an infant. We all enjoyed our time here. The rooms are spacious with comfortable furniture. The location is perfect. The stream was good for fishing (deep holes, even when the stream was low) and the kids loved tubing. We saw deer everywhere and a bald eagle flew down over the river every morning. The owner was very nice and responsive. I usually don’t rate 5 stars but for a cabin in the woods, this is one of the best.

Quick getaway

Very nice property. Ideal for a group of fishermen, or a family getaway. Everything worked as described. Cool area out of the sun. Clean spaces and all supplies as described. Good communication throughout stay.

This is a premier spot on a beautiful stream with crystal clear water. It is surrounded by lush green forest in a very private setting.
