La retraite Streamside Cabin est un endroit merveilleux pour s'asseoir près du ruisseau Big Bushkill, disposer de votre propre feu de camp et profiter de la nature exquise en famille ou entre amis. La cabine dispose de 3 chambres et d'un futon avec 2 salles de bain complètes. Cuisine ouverte et salle à manger avec tous les nouveaux appareils en acier inoxydable, vous donnera le confort de la maison. Cette propriété est extrêmement privée, mais assez proche des autres activités et des magasins. Le ruisseau Bushkill est un ruisseau de truites ensemencé, idéal pour la pêche d'avril à juillet. Vous pouvez également profiter de la descente de la rivière avec nos tubes. Nous fournissons votre bois de chauffage, propane, Wi-Fi et le linge de lit. Stream lake cabin was surreal.

I needed a quick get away from the city, and this retreat satisfied all the much needed relaxation. I was able to chill out with my one year old puppy and my hubbie had the pleasure of catching many trout in the stream a few feet away. All kitchen appliances were handy, it was great. Many friendly people around including our hosts.

Nice, Roomy House in the Poconos

For a larger group in the Poconos (we had 3 adults and one child), this place can’t be beat. At least 5 people could have their own bed including one in the family room on a Futon. Fire pit was excellent, grills worked great, and the owner provides firewood. Would advise bringing bottled water.

Weekend next to the river

Overall was a great stay, the fire pit next to the river was outstanding. Walks along the quiet river road also outstanding. the cabin size is adequate and comfortable. Harris is great to work with super easy check-in and checkout.

Petfect weekend getaway

Property and owner were both outstanding!!! Saw a ton of wildlife and enjoyed fishing at the creek right across the road. Can't wait to return!!!

Relax rewind renew

Once again we had a lovely stay at the cabin. This is our 4th stay and will keep coming back because once you find such a place it’s hard to go elsewhere while visiting the area.

Excellent and Relaxing Getaway

My husband and I spent our second Labor Day weekend at the Streamside Cabin. We discovered it last year and loved it so much that we returned this year. Harris is a wonderful host. He greeted us when we arrived to make sure we got settled in. He was available during our stay in case we needed anything. The cabin is lovely: very cozy, clean and has everything you could need. It is particularly good for families since there are a few bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the outdoor screened in porch. Outside there are two gas grills and one charcoal grill. Harris also has provided fishing gear and tubes for use on the stream. Our favorite part of the property is the stream. Sitting there listening to the water is very peaceful. Also near the stream is a firepit. We enjoyed making a fire and sitting by it at night. All in all, this is a great place if you want to get away from the stress of the city and get back to nature. Thanks again, Harris.

Very nice getaway

We planned a last minute getaway for our family and this home was more than ideal for what we needed. The kids enjoyed the home but their favorite was playing in the nearby stream. The owner was very accommodating and responsive if and when we had questions. The home is stocked with everything we needed for our stay and the kitchen is stocked with all the tools necessary for us to prepare meals. The proximity to shopping and activities made this home that much better. Thank you and we can’t wait to stay again…hopefully longer next time.

Could not love this place more!

We fell in love with this place. Spent one full day sitting in the river and swimming. The views of the river in the pictures that look like they came from a brochure? Nope, they are actual views of what you see in the river and even they don’t do it justice. We spent a rainy evening on the screened porch just enjoying the sounds. Host is super nice and anticipated things we needed like the floats and setting up fire pit. We cannot wait to go back!

Relaxing Long Weekend

We came for a long weekend and could not of been happier with the cabin. It’s the perfect place to relax and get away from it all. We enjoyed fishing and tubing in the stream. It’s also close enough to town to shop and stroll Main Street.

Great stay

Great stay in the woods. There were six of us and an infant. We all enjoyed our time here. The rooms are spacious with comfortable furniture. The location is perfect. The stream was good for fishing (deep holes, even when the stream was low) and the kids loved tubing. We saw deer everywhere and a bald eagle flew down over the river every morning. The owner was very nice and responsive. I usually don’t rate 5 stars but for a cabin in the woods, this is one of the best.

Quick getaway

Very nice property. Ideal for a group of fishermen, or a family getaway. Everything worked as described. Cool area out of the sun. Clean spaces and all supplies as described. Good communication throughout stay.

Exactly what we needed

This was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. Fully stocked secluded house on a stream. Between spending time on the stream, fishing, fire pit and playing corn hole you have a lot to do. The owner is very pleasant and will help with anything you need. Can't wait to go back next year!

Amazing Stay!

Our recent trip along that beautiful stream was amazing! The cozy, well-maintained chalet had all the necessary amenities, and the rustic decor added to its charm. The highlight was the fantastic fishing right at my doorstep, with the stream teeming with fish. The location is perfect for nature lovers, with nearby hiking trails offering stunning views. The host was fantastic, providing clear instructions and ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, this cabin is perfect for a peaceful getaway with great fishing. Highly recommend!

Great time streamside

The Streamside Cabin has all the essentials, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location, right along the Big Bushkill, is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It’s an ideal trout stream, so maybe we will have to bring a rod or two the next time we come up.The property owner is beyond helpful. We had some issues that would have impacted our stay. He was generous and accessible in every contact and did what he could to accommodate us. Thanks, Harris.

Lovely, relaxing spot

This cabin on the water was everything advertised. It was relaxing and the stream that runs by the property provides hours of run and relaxation. The owner is incredibly responsive and let us check in early when the house was ready. Lovely spot!

Great spot on the creek!

We had a great time at this nice cabin/home with incredible access to the creek. Fun fishing, and a perfect spot to sit by a nice fire in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful spot for a nice weekend getaway!

Excellent Weekend Getaway

Incredibly beautiful location on the stream. The location was very quiet and peaceful. The accommodations were excellent. Everything you needed was provided. The only thing you have to bring is what you want to cook and eat. Owner was really nice. We will be back!

Breathtaking

Well my family and I had such a wonderful time. This is the second time renting from Mr. Harris. The house was well stocked, plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was very clean, comfortable and relaxing. We caught some fishes at the river as well. The Gordons were very attentive and we talked to them, beautiful people. We wanted to stay forever! Our kids had so much fun, we definitely want to come back!

Perfect Getaway Weekend

Our group had a wonderful weekend at this house and property. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with many extras that made packing a lot easier. On the front of the house, there is both an open and screened in porch to relax and the stream can be seen and heard from there. We spent a lot of time in the firepit and waterfront area, as well as the water itself. The stream is a great depth for floating and even swimming. We saw all sorts of wildlife, and enjoyed the quiet and scenery. We can't wait to stay here again!
