My family and I traveled up to the Poconos for my sonâs birthday. It was an adorable blue cabin that was well-maintained and very cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub as well as the fire pit and large basement. It was very clean and in good condition. The owner responded quickly to messages and was super kind. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
The property was very clean and the amenities were great! The host were so helpful and friendly djring our entire stay and even allowed us to extend our time here! Absolutely amazing, a great place to stay for some peace and tranquility!
Very beautiful property and great hosts. They were even able to accommodate a late check out and we're very responsive. I plan on staying here again in the future.
Great getaway house ! Cozy and beautiful location close to alot of activities. The wood burning hot tub was a hot. My husband had a great time learning the logistics and how it worked ! Everything was xlean and cozy ! Wouod rexommend and fo theee again!
My husband and I, and our dog, spent 5 nights in this cute home. It was big enough for a family, clean, well stocked and private. The hot tub took a bit to get to the right temperature, but we had never used one that was heated via wood stove. I recommend figuring that out early! The hosts were quick to respond when needed. We would stay here again!
This was a perfect place for a get away with friends. The hot tub was warm and ready for relaxing. It was clean and spacious. The amenities are nice, you just need to bring some items if you would like to use them. (Propane for the grill and gas fire pit, wood for the outside fire pit) There are stores within 10-15 minutes to obtain these items if needed. overall, a nice place.
The pictures show a very fresh property in a remote area. Misleading INDEED! The home furnishings/ furniture/ towels/ outside decking is in serious need of repair/ paint/ new cushions/ the swing should have been hung for safety measures.
The hot tub was a huge disappointment...trying to heat the water with wood in a unproperly vented pipe was a disaster and future safety issue. Smoke was shifting into the house and leaking as the pipe to ventilate the hot tub needs repaired/ replaced. Evidence of much prior smoke/ soot is coated on back of decking/ wicker furniture. Partically burnt logs were thrown over hill by previous guests.( more then likely in frustration with the stoker for hot tub)Garbage was littered in the woods.Wasp nest was conveniently built in top lookout and wasps were flying around everywhere. Almost got stung. Homes surrounded the cabin on every angle. Oh joy, when in an attempt to drink coffee at the wooden table, we were serenaded by loud rap music from neighbors below along with obscenities being yelled through the morning air. We left after one night...early due to the beds being uncomfortable and the smoke smell that filled our lungs.I need a refund to pay to recover from this experience!
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. Quiet area for a nice get away and close to some of the small Pocono towns and Bushkill Falls. Especially enjoyed the open kitchen space and kitchen amenities! The basement has a nice area to watch movies and the deck is nice to sit and enjoy meals at and watch the deer and squirrels. It was great having a washer and dryer to do laundry and a dishwasher. We did however think there were some things that could be improved upon and were disappointed there was no creek surrounding the property as stated in the description. Some of the things to be mindful of: the glass panel in the shower in the main bath moves so be mindful of that when getting in and out of the shower. The handle to the door inside the upstairs bath was missing so the door couldn't be shut all the way. There is no ac on the main level or bedroom which was okay for us since it was May and in the 70's but could possibly get hot in the summer time. The upstairs bedrooms do have ac which is nice as well as a place to put clothing away. We were unable to get the hot tub to work and did let the owners know about that. The downstairs bedroom has a closet to hang clothing in but there is no dresser to place folded clothes. There were bears that kept getting into our trash so we cleaned up trash a few times. The bears seemed pretty tame but people should be mindful of them. These are minor things that should be addressed that could make other folks stay here more enjoyable.
We had a great time at this property. There is a lot to do within a very short distance of this cabin. Every morning and evening we sat on the back deck and watched deer as they strolled through the property. Overall it was an A+ experience!
My husband and I stayed here and it was magical. The location is perfection. It was Fall and the leaves were changing and all around us was filled with all the colors of fall. We set up the hot tub early feeding logs into the burner so it would be ready by nightfall and we were so happy we did. The fire pit out back was a great setting the first night to hang out while we got used to our surroundings. The cabin itself was perfect and roomy with everything you realistically could need. The beds are a little hard but zero issues with anything else. I would definitely stay there again. Loved every minute and was sad to go.
We had a wonderful time in Blue Cabin. Right place to getaway and relax. Clean Cozy and Quiet. Very close to attractions like Bushkill Falls (15min drive). Expectional nights at Hot Tub and Campfire. Definitely Recommend.
