Welcome to Mountain Top Escape! This comfortable, family friendly, fully furnished single-level 3/2 home is located in a quiet location on the "sunny side" of the Village of Cloudcroft at 8,900 feet and offers a mountain lifestyle with all the conveniences of village living. It's an easy five minute walk into the village for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment or to the brewery. It offers easy parking in front with car port, lots of natural light, spacious rooms, hardwood floors throughout, new bathroom and kitchen floors, a beautiful view from the wall of windows in the living room, fenced back yard, covered patio, and outdoor deck and sitting area with tables, chairs, glider, umbrellas and gas grill to enjoy those beautiful and relaxing mountain times!

Upon entering the home, the living room offers an open concept with dining area (table and six chairs) and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, washer and dryer. There are three spacious bedrooms - master with queen bed, bathroom with shower, and smart TV; second with queen bed and TV; and a third with a full size bed. Internet, whole house WiFi, and full cable TV line-up (including HBO and NFL Network). All bedrooms have closets. Smart TVs in living room and master bedroom, TV in one bedroom has built-in DVD player. The master bathroom has a shower, guest bathroom has a tub/shower combo. There are also two humidifiers for guests to use to help with the dry mountain air. Whole house water softener and new water heater installed June 2021 and new dishwasher installed October 2023 to help ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We also offer discounts for longer stays: 1) Rent for 6 nights, get the 7th free, and 2) Rent for 28+ nights, get a 40% discount.

This is a great place to use as your base for hiking, sight seeing, golfing and skiing, tubing, and snow boarding in Cloudcroft or Ruidoso, or just relaxing and enjoying the cool, crisp, clean mountain air and beautiful skies and sunsets.

No pets, please, and please respect our neighbors - no parties and quiet hours 10 PM - 8 AM.

Great Mountain Vacation

The hosts were so helpful in the days leading up to our trip, sharing tips and ideas for our Cloudcroft visit. When we arrived to the house, it was clean, comfortable and well stocked. It’s the perfect location to walk to Burro Ave or Cloudcroft Brewery. They had the disks and wax available at the house for White Sands. My kids had the best time with all of the board and card games at the house. We really enjoyed our visit.

An Absolute Gem

Great Location! Clean and Organized! Cozy and Comfortable! We enjoyed our stay so so much! David and Anne Marie were very kind, helpful with suggestions, and quick to respond. Highly suggest White Sands, Ski Cloudcroft, ice skating and then coming back to this house because it is PERFECT! Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful Family Vacation Home

We had an amazing stay in Cloudcroft, NM. This home was in the perfect location (close enough for us to walk several places when it snowed too much to drive), was clean and equipped with everything we needed with Beautiful Views. The owners and property manager were very nice, informative, helpful and prompt when contacting them before/during our stay. We definitely recommend this home if you are staying in this area. The town is Beautiful and family friendly with lots to do. Thank you David and Anne Marie for letting us rent your home allowing us to have a memorable family vacation.

The house was great and had everything we needed. Deer came by daily and the location was close to the shops. The host was very easy to communicate with, we will definitely stay again!

We love travel and the mountains and have been coming up to Cloudcroft for over 17 years. We immediately fell in love with the village and surrounding area for its beauty, tranquility, and local and nearby amenities and sights. We started doing monthly rentals of this property a while back and had the opportunity to purchase it and make it available for others to enjoy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We'd been enjoying this property for years as renters due to its scenic location, lay-out, amenities, and comfort. Plus it's a great place to escape those hot summers! There are no mosquitoes or snakes, few insects, and there are lots of outdoor opportunities year-round. The sunsets are gorgeous, and at night, there are many, many stars!

Plus, there are numerous shops and restaurants in town and the surrounding area along with golf, endless hiking and other outdoor opportunities.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house is an easy 5 minute walk into town and to the brewery, and there are numerous scenic trails and vistas nearby. Plus, elk, deer and birds (and occasionally horses) come around to visit regularly. When the farmers' market is running (usually spring to fall), it's also a five minute walk away - it's held at one of two locations right on Hwy 82 (main road through town). The bank of front windows offers a beautiful view of the hills and trees across the way and is a particularly pretty view in the fall when the foliage turns. Lots of natural light throughout the house, and you can sit and relax or visit on the covered back porch or the large deck with seating and umbrellas.
