Cette maison du sud récemment rénovée bénéficie du meilleur emplacement.

Southern Charm dispose de 6 chambres pouvant accueillir 16 personnes ou dormir avec 20 personnes. Le parking est énorme "peut facilement gérer 3-4 camions avec bass boats attachés" avec l'entraînement de cercle d'accès facile. à un kilomètre environ de la rampe de bateau Rock Castle .. et à 800 mètres de la marina de Prizer Point, à 1,6 km du magasin pratique Handy Corner et du restaurant Fishing Hole. Cette propriété comprend un accès au lac à Southern Belle, à environ 1 km du chemin Prizer Point Cette maison a diverti les familles pendant de nombreuses années. La salle de jeu a des systèmes de jeu de style Arcade avec beaucoup de vos favoris.

Very nice home. The game room was a big hit! We really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was only 1 light worked on the front porch so one side was dark. Also in the bathroom in the downstairs bedroom out of the 3 lights only 1 worked and the day we were to leave that one light quit working. I’m guessing a lot of light bulbs need to be replaced. The kitchen sink was slow to drain. But all in all it was a nice place.

Beautiful but cold

The home was beautiful but we couldn't figure out how to work the air conditioner so it was extremely cold. There were a few minor thing thats we didn't particularly care for but over all ot was great. We would stay here again if we needed to.

Great place

Plenty of parking for vehicles and boats. Enough beds to sleep everyone. Conveniently located close to Prizer point (maybe a 2 minute drive). Great experience.

Thanksgiving Trip

Property was at a very peaceful and quite location, my kids really enjoyed the game room, property owner was excellent about answering any questions I had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with a large size group.

Plenty of room

The house was in perfect location for our gathering nearby. There was plenty of room for my group of 8 adults and 6 children, ages infant to 15. The kids, as well as some adults, enjoyed the game room, which had foosball and air hockey tables and 2 arcade games.

Family reunion weekend

We had a group of 12 and we all felt we had plenty of room to spread out. The house worked great for our group. The beds were all comfortable, the air conditioning worked well and the house accomodated our needs. Communication with the owner was good, he was very responsive and answered all of my questions promptly.

Family Vacation

This house was big enough to accommodate everyone and close enough to water access. Game room was very nice, beds were comfortable. Kids took over the upstairs which they enjoyed having their own space. Only thing I wish was that the grass had been mowed before we arrived.

Love Love Love

The best experience we've ever had. The house is beautiful and the grandkids had plenty of room to run with the added features of the game room. Us ladies enjoyed the big kitchen space and dining area. Mike was amazing to work with and we'll definitely be staying here again! My dad lives just down the road and the location to everything was also perfect.

We enjoyed our stay. It had a big living room and large dining room table to play dominoes on. The kids loved the game room. There was a small issue with one of the heating units in one of the bedrooms and an additional 1/2 bath would be helpful. Overall, it was a good trip.

Amazing get away

Everything was so nice there was enough bedrooms for all my family n friends was not enough bathroom. Only disappointment I had was the grass was not cut. They had cut branches off the tree and left them. Overall we had a great vacation.

Great 4th Weekend

Awesome family meet up location. House was clean, well apportioned, and in a good location. Had a couple of minor issues with neighbors this weekend, seemed to be rooted in the campground/busy weekend and not wanting to deal with visitors. Looking forward to coming back and will definitely bring a boat next time, boat ramp is right down the street and is super convenient to access. Thanks for the great weekend.

The wi-go was weak, otherwise a great stay.

The wi-fi was weak. Plan to run the drier twice to leave towels in the drier at check out as requested. Otherwise, all good.

We had a blast and hope to stay again!

If you are looking for a 5 star house this may not be your cup of tea. Although the house could use some maintenance the overall experience was great. Cleanliness was pretty good, like any place there are some detailed cleaning that could be done but couldn't my house too ;) Everything was clean and comfortable. Owner was excellent to work with and very quick to respond to any inquiries. We had a family gathering and there was plenty of chairs in the shade and yard for the kids to play in. The game room was a big hit with the kids and the adults a like. Plenty of beds for the kids to choose from. The kitchen had lots of counter space to set food out so we did not have to have it sit outside. The fridge was nice and clean. I would recommend bring crockpots if you are gong to need them but we made do with the pans that utensils that were available. My only issue was the grills were not usable due to age and rust. Luckily we just brought in a grill from a relative in the area. I would highly recommend staying here and my family has already suggested we get together here again next year! Thank you for the great experience.

Beautiful Country Home

There were 16 of us in total and found only 2 bathrooms a bit challenging but we definitely managed! Most of everything we needed was provided. We did have to travel to get firewood for the firepit and although 2 grills are on site, you will need to acquire charcoal & lighter for 1 and/or propane for the other. The game room was a big hit for both kids AND adults. The patios were a common gathering place for us all! The front porch/patio is covered but gets the most sun so we found the back patio the most popular as it is perfectly shaded. We brought an easy-up but never needed it. The host was very responsive to all our questions and extremely friendly! Unfortunately, the cleaning company fell short in my opinion, but after speaking with the host he assured us those issues would be addressed! Beds were tolerable but not the best. This is a great place for a large family to gather! Although there is a beach right down the road, we opted to check out other beaches about 30 min away. Thank you for having us, if we're ever in the area in the future, we'll certainly prepare better & stay again.

Lovely setting, read below for details

We enjoyed our time together at Southern Charm. We cooked together every meal for 3 days, and the arrangement of rooms/beds worked well for us. The setting is beautiful, and we took individual and family photos, using a number of scenic backdrops. The arched trellis and fence, flowers in the back, light pole in the front, front porch. The light at sunset was ideal for pictures in the back! There are some things that can be improved. The house was generally clean, but when you opened cupboards it seems it is in need of a deep clean. (We found evidence of mice). The kitchen is stocked with a few pans and cooking/serving utensils, but it would have been challenging to cook meals for a large group of people without the pans we brought with us. Except for the master, the mattresses weren't the greatest quality.... yet we slept. Having 2 bathrooms is good, but challenging in that one is attached to the master suite. The kitchen has lots of counter and cabinet space, and the huge dining table and patio were great -- we used them all day every day! We grilled out, and the grill is small for a large group, but worked well and our food was delicious. The game room was a huge hit with our kiddos, and air conditioning was cold (in a good way). Everything (i.e. electronics) we used was working well. The house was just a 2 minute drive to Prizer Point Marina, which had reasonably priced boat rental and several other activities we might have enjoyed if we stayed longer. Overall we enjoyed our stay and our time together. We would probably opt for something bigger in a future rental, but would come again.

Could be alot better

The condition of the house was subpar. It wasn’t at all what we thought or what was portayed. From dirty bathroom floor, hair on the toilet, dingy shower floor, old worn out couch and entire house had a mildew, musty smell. The couch had an order of a dead mouse/rat. Above the television in the same room, that vent need to be replaced on the ceiling. Aside from the poor maintenance, the house description should have stated that 1 full bathroom was an en-suite, which means for 10 people, there was only one full bathroom that wasn’t clean. Also, upstairs had no bathrooms and only bunk beds that could not accommodate anyone in a wheelchair or privacy for a couple. Overall, the house owners need to do a THOROUGH cleaning, give an accurate description of the bathrooms, and take away all those bunk beds. 6 bunk beds is ridiculous and can not comfortably sleep 12 people. I would also say this is the first time a family member had to rent a hotel because of uncleanness and limited bathroom for 10 adults and 2 preteen boys. This house should not rent to no more than 8 people and that pushing it. We bought a new grill due to we could not use the grill because it had a wasp/hornet nest in it. We have been using vrbo for the last 4 years for all our vacations and this experience has been the worst. Over all experience with this house was bad! But we still had fun being with our family!

Mouse house

We recently spent four nights at Southern Charm and had some issues. When we arrived, the trash cans were full and spilling out onto the ground. The grass needed mowed and the shrubs on the side of the house needed trimmed as they were on part of the sidewalk. The biggest issue was mice. The same evening we arrived, we saw a mouse (or two) running in the kitchen. We found some mice and rat bait under the kitchen sink, which means they have had problems with this before. We put the bait out, but that didn't help. The owner was contacted, and we were told to go buy mouse traps, and they would reimburse us. We did go buy traps (15 miles each direction to find any) and set them, and caught two mice in the kitchen the same evening. Who wants to go on a vacation and watch mice run around! We had small children with us who were scared to death, as well as some of the adults! We saw mouse droppings lots of places, including the beds upstairs! After returning home, I received a bill for $100 for the bags of trash that we left there! We had no idea that there were trash cans at the garage next door for us to use. Since we were charged the extra fee, I told the owner that they would owe us for the mouse traps and mileage, but of course, I was not reimbursed for that. The house was big enough for our group and did have a lot of beds. And the game room was really enjoyed by the kids! We loved the location as it was near Prizer Point, where we had rented two boats! The kitchen had a lot of pans and dishes, of course, everything had to be washed before using because of the mice! If you like mice, this is the place for you!

This home is in the country and if kids go in and out there may be mice, since the house has been exterminated and you were told about the trash before you left. Sorry you were disappointed.

Family time is quality time

We enjoyed Southern Charm so much from the gameroom,large dining table, wonderful appointed bedrooms, and large kitchen. We had a wonderful time with 3 of our adult children and 9 of our grandchildren. The place was just as advertised and very spacious area for everyone to enjoy. The yard was large and had a fire pit. Great spot to hang out on the patio. We will be staying here again

Thanksgiving

We wanted a place to "meet in the middle" for Thanksgiving. We had a blast. This property had all the comforts of home and the kitchen was spacious enough for us to cook a Thanksgiving dinner for 10! We found our host to be wonderful to work with and would definitely suggest this cabin to others.
