Sur une route privée et sans issue, ce chalet au bord du lac est l'endroit idéal pour se reposer et se détendre. L'intérieur lumineux et confortable vous accueillera à votre arrivée. Vous tomberez rapidement amoureux de ce cottage convivial doté de toutes les commodités que vous attendez. Le porche filtré offre une vue panoramique sur les collines de Berkshire et le lac Laurel. Juste devant votre porte, vous découvrirez votre propre plage privée, idéale pour bronzer, nager, faire du bateau ou tout simplement explorer. L'arrière du chalet offre une pelouse semi-ombragée, à 20 pas de la plage. Jardins vivaces bordent une configuration parfaite pour les réceptions en plein air. Cottage a 2 chambres, une avec un lit king size, l'autre avec deux lits jumeaux. 1. 5 salles de bains, grande salle familiale, cuisine et grande véranda avec vue sur l'eau. Nous sommes situés à seulement 25 km du centre du village de Lenox et à proximité de toutes les autres attractions de Berkshire.

Laurel Lake Cottage

This little cottage on Laurel Lake was the perfect place to spend time as a family (with small children), to explore the Berkshires and to enjoy the fall foliage. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable and the location is wonderful. We loved the porch and the beautiful view and the children loved the boats. We would love to come back in summer!

Laurel Lake Cottage

Perfect little getaway cottage to see fall foliage in a quiet, relaxing setting...YET...close to 3 towns with much to offer such as museums, dining & shopping if you like that. We especially enjoyed the kayaks & gear provided for the time on the lake, the large comfy back porch & the fireplace ins the family room for those chilly nights & mornings. I even saw 2 bald eagles circling over the lake.

Laurel Lake Cottage

This is a spectacular location for a charming, comfortable, well equipped cottage. The host has thought of everything we might need. It is clean and very comfortable. The views of the lake are gorgeous and the location is conveniently accessible to many services and attractions. All in all a wonderful stay.

Perfect Getaway

Mike was awesome to communicate with before the trip- Lake house was as advertised, you can’t beat the view. All the toys if you want to have fun on the lake. The house is on a dead end street so it was very quiet and peaceful. A lot of great places to eat and have fun- 10000 percent would come again for longer The Bonavitas

Lenox Mass

This was our first time to the Berkshires. My wife and I were looking forward to staying in the Lenox area and this cottage is in a great location for checking out the local towns and attractions. The cottage is on Laurel Lake and it is a wonderful gem of a place. Quiet, clean and charming. Sitting outside on the lawn by the water or in the screened-in porch looking out over the lake it is the best medicine! The Hosts are wonderful too. Perfect place for a getaway!

The photos and description for this property were perfect and I enjoyed every part of my stay in this cottage. I was looking for a quiet getaway with kayaking but also wanted to be close to town for some walking around and meals out. The house was clean and the WiFi worked perfectly even in the Berkshires! I look forward to booking future stays in this wonderful cottage!

Lovely late fall stay

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend away at Mike's place in Lenox during the last weekend of October. Incredible setting plus a short drive to town was just what we wanted. Thanks for hosting us and we hope to come back in the warmer weather to really enjoy everything the property has to offer!

Perfect Getaway!!

This cottage is perfect for a relaxing time away from home. The kitchen is well stocked, living room quite comfortable with a gas fireplace. The very best thing is the screened in porch. Sitting and watching the kayakers, geese and a variety of birds. Lovely gardens. We will be returning!

Very pleasant and restful setting.

Wonderful rustic summer cottage. We are four adults who sang at Tanglewood with Berkshire Chorus International. The property is in a great location for our needs. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The propane fireplace is helpful for chilly mornings. We used kayaks and enjoyed the lake scenery.

Beautiful and peaceful

This is a lovely cabin directly in the lake. The weather was cool and rainy so we did not go on the lake but we were able to enjoy it in the large screened in porch. The gas fireplace kept us cozy inside. Great location close the The Mount, Lenox and the Norman Rockwell museum and studio.

Private Peaceful Lake Cottage

Wonderful private cabin on picturesque lake. Brought back fond memories of stays in the boundary waters of Minnesota during my you. Canadian geese chorusing in the background. Winds scratching at the surface of the waters. Colorful trees announcing autumn's advent. Host was wonderful and helpful. Would recommend highly to anyone for the beauty of Lenox in the fall.

Beautiful Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautifully situated on Laurel Lake. Boats, paddles, and life jackets were provided, so we spent time on the water. The house is clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the screened-in porch overlooking the water, where we ate all our meals. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of counter space. Lastly, a king size bed was an added luxury. If you are from warmer climes, be aware that there is no central heat. However, the gas fireplace heats up the living room quickly. There are also space heaters.

Lovely stay at Laurel Lake cabin

We were in Lenox to attend a wedding and stayed at the cabin for 3 nights and had a lovely time. Owner Mike graciously accommodated our request for an early check-in, and the cabin was extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The views of the lake are beautiful, and (once the weather improved) we were able to take the kayaks out for a paddle. It was great to have a full kitchen available, and the gas fireplace kept us cozy despite the cooler outdoor temps. Hope to get back up to Lenox during the summer, and would definitely stay here! Location is so convenient to downtown Lenox and Lee -- and (per the recommendation tacked on the cabin bulletin board) to the best ice cream ever at High Lawn Farm!

Our stay at the lake

We love our quiet and peaceful time on the lake. The cabin was just the right for the four of us. Sitting by the shore or in the screened porch was lovely. Our favorite was kayaking the lake when the water was calm and like glass in the morning. We loved the quiet neighborhood and the close proximity to town and Shakespeare and Company. Our daughter was performing there and the 5 minute drive was easy and so beautiful. We can’t wait to come back and hopefully take in the beauty of lake Laurel again. Thank you for such a great gift of this wonderful place! The Martins

Cottage on the lake

The cottage on the lake was cozy and comfortable. The fire place in the living room was perfect to heat up the cottage. The kitchen was very well equipped and there was an abundance of towels. The washer and dryer was great since we didn’t pack much and halfway through the trip was able to use the washer/dryer. The location of the cottage was perfect to see many of the sights and trails in the Berkshires. The lake was beautiful as the trees changed into the fall foliage. I can see why families would love this place in the summer to use canoes and to swim in the lake. The owner Mike was very assessable and answered all our questions. Plenty of restaurants or grocery stores nearby.

The Perfect Vacation Cottage

This is the 41st year that I have spent at least a portion of the summer in the Berkshires. I have never stayed anywhere else this perfect. The cottage has all of the amenities described in the listing. It is comfortable and welcoming. I love the screened in porch overlooking the lake. The porch is where I spend most of my time. The lake is beautiful and ever changing. I love to watch the firsherman out early in the morning. There is usually a cool breeze. My friends and family enjoy swimming, boating and grilling in the lovely yard. This cottage is alway imaculate upon arrival. It is easy to keep clean. The kitchen is very good to work in. I can't think of another place I'd rather be to escape the heat and crowds of the city. I look forward to many more summers in the Cooney Cottage. My grandkids love to play in the sand and swim in the shallow portion of the lake. My daughter swam all the way across the lake this summer. It is just a perfect place to be. Since I am very familiar with the area, I know that Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow and Shakespeare and Company are just minutes away. It's fun to have cocktails on the terrace at The Mount and imagine that Edith Wharton is part of the party. Each summer, a trip to Williamstown, either to the theater or the marvelous Clark Museum is a must. I can't imagine being anywhere else.

Perfect retreat!

The cottage was well-stocked, with everything needed for a great stay. The location is perfect—secluded enough to offer quiet and pure relaxation, but easy to get around to all spots in the Berkshires. The clear, calm water was perfect for swimming and kayaking. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot! We’ll definitely return to this great property!

Ultimate Lake Get-away

I stayed in this beautiful lake house on my 65th birthday during May 2022. Not a fancy place, but practical and well thought out. The place has a cosy, lived in feel. I can only echo all the other ecstatic reviews. Water was clear and warmer than the breeze. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking and grilling. Well supplied house with comfortable beds. Only downside was having to leave. We tried to extend but others had booked already and the place needed to be cleaned in-between guests. Excellent location and a very positive vibe await you. My only suggestion is to provide sort of setup to enjoy a fire 🔥 outside. One of our favorite parts was the electric fireplace. Turn it on and get mesmerized in a cozy, warm ambience. Thanks Mike and family!
