Le Shoo Fly est un chalet de plage classique en bord de mer situé à l'extrémité sud de la plage de Kure. Cette belle maison unifamiliale vous apportera à vous et à vos proches de nombreux souvenirs de vacances d'été au chaud !! Ocean Front 4 chambres 3 salles de bain w / passerelle indépendante vers la plage. Venez profiter du calme et de la tranquillité assis sur le OCEAN FRONT PORCH w / Chairs, et écoutez les sons des vagues. Ce chalet a un salon avec télévision à écran plat, Internet sans fil également fourni pour votre divertissement et une cuisine entièrement équipée. Une chambre principale avec lit king, 2e chambre avec lit queen et 3e chambre avec salle de bain complète et 2 salles de bain. En bas, vous avez une entrée séparée à la 4ème chambre avec lit superposé simple, petite cuisine, télévision à écran plat et salle de bain. Profitez de tout ce que Kure Beach et Pleasure Island ont à offrir! Profitez du trajet de 30 minutes en ferry vers l'historique Southport, allez pêcher sur la plus ancienne jetée de Pleasure Island, visitez l'aquarium de Caroline du Nord ou faites du shopping sur le bord de la rivière dans le quartier historique de Wilmington. Great location. Outdoor chairs could use an upgrade, perhaps something with some cushion. Place was clean. The beach was away from the crowds with was great.

Get family getaway

This house was in a Great location and it was so nice to walk down to the beach and have privacy. My parents loved sitting on the porch and watching the sunrises and just enjoying the amazing view. Would highly recommend this house to everyone

This property needs a thorough clean. There are a lot of ways in which it could be improved that would not cost much money. A deep clean followed by minimal repairs (like towel hangers not secured, slow toilet refill fixed, some paint touchups, electrical outlets, etc) would really go a long way. Also suggest updating the linens as they really have that gas station toilet paper feel. Amazon quality would be a step up. The location is amazing and the house is cute. The suggestions above are relatively simple updates that would go a long way. A basic handy person or skilled homeowner could do all of this in a day.

Great location!

Great location! The house does need some updating and the additional room did smell of mildew. Linens and towels were provided, however we did have to purchase other basic necessities such as dish soap, sponges, trash bags, hand soap and toilet paper. Overall, a decent place to stay and great views of the ocean!

Family fun

The support beam in corner of deck is broken and that part gives master bedroom over head light is very dim. I was very pleased with the house.

Perfect Location

Shoo Fly is in the perfect location on Kure Beach. Far enough away from any public access that it wasn't crowded all Memorial Day weekend. The private access to the beach and balcony looking out at the water is amazing. Like the other reviews say, the house is old and falling apart but its still very comfy. The ground floor room is very musty and I wouldn't ask anyone to spend time in there. We would love to stay here for location alone, but hopefully at a little lower price point. The condition of the house is not befitting the premium you pay for location.

We had a wonderful time at the Shoo Fly property. Pictures were accurate and the place was clean when we checked in. There seemed to be several new appliances on the property and everything was in working order. Our only concern was the deck to the beach has rotted away on the one side. None of the support beams are attached and it made us very nervous with kids that they would break further or the kids would get their feet caught in the gap. I have seen previous reviews stating the same thing about the deck to the water. I'm sure it's a lot to upkeep in a place that stays wet and humid - but someone is going to get hurt.

Great location but the property needs some cleaning!

The house is extremely well placed, near attractions and oceanfront. We liked the clean sheets and towels, and the provision of the first set of paper towels and toilet paper. We also enjoyed the gas grill and the under the deck area. However, the house needs to be better cleaned (there were dust bunnies and sand under the beds, under the couch pillows, under the refrigerator and the fan blades were full of dust). On the listing it was not clear the the room with bunk beds was totally outside ( you had to go outside and down the stairs to reach it). The downstairs room was smelling of mildew.

Property team was very kind and nice to help. House is in a great location. It s very dated and a bit ran down. Electrical issues when we stayed. (Light switch lightly shocked a child) It was clean and lovely view- we made the best of it. There is also not a walk way from the house to the beach like the other beach front homes, so we had to go to the neighboring lot to take the walkway. If your ok with things a bit rickety and falling apart, you’ll be fine. Walls peeling in the bathroom. Old dryer that puts lent all over your clothes. Deck that was leaning a bit. 4th detached room with bunk beds not suitable for young children given it’s downstairs outside entry only. Also with it being a sort of basement it smelt musty/moldy and a dehumidifier in the room (didn’t work well). Was slightly disappointed in what we received for the price compared to other NC beach homes.

Excellent beach. Very nice property. We only needed a 1 bedroom, but this house was too good to pass up for the price. Right on the beach! Pets allowed! Easy process check-in and check-out.

Fun NC Beach Experience

My family and I (9 people total) greatly enjoyed our stay at Shoo Fly. The ocean views and beach access were the best part - the beach in front of the house is gorgeous. 9 people were able to fit comfortably. The grill was also a nice item to have.

We would stay here again.

Location is great. Beach is lovely and uncrowded. Everything in the home works and is present. Home especially floors in bathrooms could use a good deep cleaning. Couch and loveseat definitely need replacing. Water damage/peeling in several places on ceiling looks bad. Some of the ceiling fans are on their last legs, their lights don't work and they need replacing.

Shoo fly stay

Our family had a great time at the shoofly. Everything was clean and orderly. The only issue that we seem to have with the sliding glass doors were so heavy and stiff you can barely open and shut them. The blinds that were covering the sliding glass doors were also very stiff and hard to manage. It would be nice for those to be updated.

Adorable bungalow on the beach!

The house was easy to check into as there is a coded lock on the door. It was clean. Had everything I needed: Keurig, microwave, blender, dishwasher, washer/dryer, spices., cookware. Comfy couches. Great shower pressure. Deck with rocking chairs looking at ocean. Great location on Kure Beach. Had most of the beach to ourselves. AC stopped cooling one night. Property manager very responsive. It was fixed within three hours of contacting them. I (personally) would not recommend the downstairs bedroom (which has a separate outside door access.) It’s cute but has a heavy moldy smell like a basement would. There is a dehumidifier in there which helps. It gets full on a daily basis. The beach access is a little quirky. The walkway is on the vacant lot next to the house. There is a "no trespassing" sign on it but some folks ignore it anyway. Had a great time.
