Superbe maison des Caraïbes récemment rénovée de 5 chambres sur la plage!

Bienvenue dans la maison de Simon récemment rénovée sur l'île calme de Grand Turk à Turks et Caicos! Il peut désormais accueillir 12 personnes confortablement avec quatre chambres avec salle de bains king size et une chambre avec lits superposés pour quatre personnes. Toutes les chambres sont situées au rez-de-chaussée avec cuisine ouverte, salle à manger et salon au niveau supérieur. L'avantage de ceci sont les vues océaniques privées et la brise fraîche constante pendant la cuisson des repas en famille, la socialisation sur le canapé ou la détente sur le balcon avec des amis et la famille. Le balcon à l'étage face à l'océan a récemment ajouté un écran dans la zone permettant à la brise fraîche d'entrer tout en empêchant les mozzies d'entrer.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. We had ample space for our large group and the kitchen had all we needed. Bernadette and Lolli were very responsive when we reached out about wanting extra towels and toilet paper. The house was very clean and comfortable!

Beautiful home right on the beach! Lolli and Bernadette were extremely attentive to our needs and questions. We had everything we needed, and our favorite part were mornings and afternoons and evenings on the screened in porch overlooking the turquoise waters! Loved our stay.

Great vacation!

The house was perfect for our party of 4 couples. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped, comfortable beds, great location in town, walking distance to restaurants/bars. Super friendly locals! This is the real Caribbean, loved every minute of this vaca, will be back!

Wonderful Week in Grand Turk

My family had a wonderful time staying at Simon's house in Grand Turk for one week in January. Bernadette and Lolli were so helpful in answering questions and providing advice for planning the trip. The house is right on the beach, comfortable, spacious and well laid out with activities and amenities for our group of 8 adults, such as sailboarding and snorkeling. There are many good restaurants within easy walking distance. The house provided a great setting for a memorable family reunion.

Great location, Great House, Great Island

We had great week on Grand Turk staying at Simon House. The house and the location are both excellent. The beach is basically your own private oasis and sitting on the porch looking out over the ocean is exceptional. They house layout with the bedrooms on the first floor and open floor plan kitchen, dinning area on the second was excellent for a large group to gather and access the screened porch while the island breezes blew through. Loved our first time on Grand Turk and will surely be back again.

Fabulous spot for chill holiday

Great vacation, can’t possibly say enough good things about Lolli, she’s an absolute gem. Great house, great location, easy to relax and reconnect with family over the holidays. Grocery shopping and cooking at the house was easy and comfortable. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, everyone having their own bathroom was a dream. Only thing is bunk room can only really be used for small kids as beds are just plywood and foam. Would consider this a 4 bedroom, comfortably sleeping 4 couples. Will definitely be back, loved Grand Turk, the people and the beaches.

Amazing

The description of the property is accurate. The experience of staying at the property is amazing. Everything was fabulous. The property is situated both on the beach and on the edge of town. The beach was empty for our entire stay. It felt like our own private beach - even though all beaches on the island are technically public. If you're looking for a quiet beach vacation this place can't be beaten. We had 3 generations of family members and everyone loved the trip. The island is dominated by the Cruise Ship industry - of a ship(s) are in, the island is alive, shops are open, restaurants are open. If no ship(s) are in dock the island is VERY quiet, few shops and restaurants open. For this home the impact to the actual location is minimal, however careful planning with regards to meals is key. We were very sad to leave and were already planning our next trip.

Superb Family Christmas

This property is exactly what it says it is! Spectacular I oversee apartment rentals for a career and will give a fair review to anyone that does great job and Bernadette and Lolli are top notch. The home is beautiful upstairs; it’s open and decorated tastefully. The screens on the deck make the upstairs deck area so great to hang out on. We cooked almost the entire time we were there and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The snorkeling out front was BEYOND my expectations. There’s probably fifteen feet of swim area with great sand and then reefs with great fish in shallow where kids could easily snorkel. But here’s the kicker swim out to the buoy in front of the next house about quarter mile out and it is the marker for the snorkeling excursions for the cruise ships & it is absolutely stunning!!!!!! We would rent Bernadette’s home again in a second! This is a great island and a great home for a relaxing vacation.

Breezy Upside Down House Near Everything

The whole second floor is one big great room with a wrap-around porch around three sides, right on the beach. It was terrific! Loved the sea breezes and listening to the surf. There was always plenty of shade and plenty of sun to be found. Plenty of seating inside and out. Grand Turk is a throw-back to the islands before tourism changed them so much. It is remote, with a few restaurants and a couple of grocery stores, both a little on the expensive side. Most of the people who come to the cruise port just stay at the cruise port, although there is an uptick of activity when the ships are in. The on-island property manager, Lollie, is very responsive and can help you find anything you need. A golf cart is nice to have, and the property has a driveway with room for the golf cart. Lollie is the chef at the inn down the street, and we had a couple of good meals there. We also enjoyed The Ridge Cafe — well worth the drive. Reservations required on Instagram. If you come to Grand Turk, be sure to reserve in advance for whale watching and swimming with the whales.

Amazing location, beautiful home

Our group was comprised of 4 adults and 4 children (ages 13, 9, 4 and 1). The home is historic, beautiful and well cared for. We had plenty of space inside the home to spread out, and the backyard beach is one of the nicest I have ever been to. The water was calm enough for a 4 year old to play in with ample snorkeling right off the beach. Lolli, the house manager, is unbelievable and stocked the fridge for us upon our arrival. The only issues we had with the home were the significant amount of ants in the garbage throughout our stay and the fact that the water shut off for about 4 hours on one of the days we were there. The water issue was resolved quickly and efficiently. This is a relatively remote island, so I think that both of these problems are pretty minimal when taken in the proper perspective, but hopefully the owners can proactively address them for future guests. Grand Turk is a beautiful place with wonderful people. If you're looking for a place to just relax, and you don't need the typical tourist traps of the carribean, this house is paradise without the crowds.

Great home right on beach for a family vacation. Excellent location for divers.

The location of this house is excellent, on a beautiful beach, close to restaurants and 3 dive operators and you can get a massage right across the street. We had the beach to ourselves. No crowds here. Home is well stocked with towels, beach towels and linens and a great kitchen. Plenty of areas inside, outside on patios and on the beach to relax in the sun or in the shade. Individual ac’s in the bedrooms allows you to sleep well. Upstairs there is a wonderful cross breeze that keeps one cool in the very spacious living area by just opening the double doors. Lolli, the on island manager arranged our taxi and greeted us. We had a few issues that needed attention during the week and she responded immediately and took care of them. Bernadette, the owner was extremely helpful during the booking process and recommending on island activities. The island people were very friendly snd helpful. This is a remote island so we took some grocery items with us that weren’t available on island. Our mode of transport was golf carts. Our grandkids , 14 to 21 loved their vacation spent diving, snorkeling , horseback riding, paddle boarding ,playing with the beach dogs, relaxing and playing games on the beach and making memories with all our family. They all want to go back next year.

The crystal-clear turquoise water, poser-soft sand, and breathtaking views created the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable vacation.The home is spacious, welcoming, and full of thoughtful touches that make it feel like a true island retreat rather than just a rental property. It is exceptionally well-stocked with everything you could possibly need, both inside and out. From the fully equipped kitchen to the abundance of beach chairs, floats, snorkel gear, and other beach essentials, every detail has been carefully considered.What truly made our stay extraordinary was Lolli. She went above and beyond in every possible way to ensure our vacation was perfect. Her kindness, responsiveness, local knowledge, and genuine desire to make our stay special did not go unnoticed... she was amazing. If you're looking for a place where you can relax, reconnect, and enjoy the beauty of Grand Turk while feeling completely at home, this is it. Fantastic

We really loved everything about our trip to Grand Turk. Both the owner and housekeeper Lolli were so kind and responsive. The house is exactly as it is described in the photos. The beach is beautiful and the house is so well furnished with an abundance of towels linens and beach amenities. The kitchen and living areas are very well equipped and the views and sunsets are gorgeous. Everyone on the island we met were so hospitable and friendly. They were also so appreciative of our custom. All the small inns and restaurants we went to were friendly and welcoming. This is a very laid back island which transports you back to a bygone era of Caribbean simplicity and charm. We rented golf carts which were perfect for shopping the very well stocked supermarket and exploring the island. The best part was right in front of the house on the gorgeous beach with amazing swimming, snorkelling and diving. We can’t wait to return. It was such a great holiday! Many thanks!

Simply wonderful

After a long lock down, our stay in Bernadette’s lovely home was just the ticket. Perfectly located right on the beach with a great balcony on the first floor to eat, drink, lounge and watch the sunset, it could not have been better. A/c in spacious bedrooms on the ground floor and a well equipped open kitchen and living space on the first floor worked beautifully. Lots of water sport equipment (snorkels etc and paddle boards) if you feel more energetic. Lolli (housekeeper) was there to welcome us and very helpful during the stay. Highly recommended.

Hello! Thank you for checking out our listing! Simon is originally from Scotland and myself, from Toronto, Canada where we met. We have been living in Ottawa since 2001. We are both self employed and enjoy working from the comforts of home. We are also parents of two adult children. Simon works as an independent accounts manager for several local companies and I, Bernadette, work in my studio creating designs for clothing and home. We have traveled to West Coast Canada but have also visited Simon's family in Scotland and, just recently, my family in the Philippines. We have been visiting Turks and Caicos for almost two decades! We enjoy the great weather and friendly, easy going locals. Although we've had amazing fun in Providenciales, GRAND TURK is where we now enjoy our holidays. During our visits to Turks and Caicos, we've enjoyed family holidays, a wedding, and contributing to the renovation of new homes and an Inne for others to enjoy.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The house is located on Grand Turk where island life is quieter and more serene. The locals are friendly - the beaches and ocean warm and welcoming . The home serves as a vacation haven for us and our closest relatives residing mostly in Canada and Scotland. The family has owned property on Providenciales but life there, although fun and exciting, has gotten too busy. We all now love the seclusion of Grand Turk and it's welcoming and friendly people.

The home provides an open yet private hub for large families or groups who enjoy time spent together but also the privacy each bedroom can provide. There are 4 ensuite king sized bedrooms and 4 person bunk room all with air conditioning for a comfortable sleep or recovering nap. And of course, it is located right on the beach!
