Vous pouvez aller à pied à East Matunuck State Beach ou à South Kingstown Town Beach avec plusieurs autres plages à quelques minutes en voiture. Si vous souhaitez vous rendre à la plage de la ville, vous aurez également accès à un pass invité pour votre voiture!

Cet endroit est idéal pour les couples ou les familles qui souhaitent se détendre sur le pont arrière privé, regarder le coucher de soleil, griller un repas ou profiter du soleil. Découvrez la vie nocturne active au coin de la rue. Matunuck est vraiment un endroit agréable. Le célèbre ferry Newport, RI ou le ferry de Block Island est accessible en une demi-heure de route. Cet endroit est une escapade à la plage parfaite!

En plus des 2 chambres et de la salle de bain complète, vous aurez également accès à la douche extérieure, aux jeux sur la pelouse et aux vêtements de plage fournis. Le salon est spacieux avec deux lits futon. La cuisine comprend des équipements de base avec une porte en verre coulissante fixée à une grande terrasse et à un gril offrant une vue sur l'eau. Les clients auront accès à au moins deux places de stationnement. Le stationnement dans la rue est à proximité, si nécessaire.

Cozy Clean Convenient

Home owners were so welcoming and accommodating. We had just a amazing, peaceful, fun relaxing time at this home. Great patio for gathering and relaxing along with plenty of space in side the home. We will defiantly be back with out a doubt!!

"A Stone"s Throw"....

Wonderful. Just an overnight , so didn't need much.The apt was clean, cozy, airy. Keys were right where the owner said they'd be. A map or some local directions of where & how to access beach ,for swimming, or for strolling, would have been helpful.

Prime Location

We enjoyed our second year at this property for our week at the beach. The location is perfect. We love the proximity to the ocean. Walking in the early morning is lovely. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and live in the lower unit. The furniture is basic but does the job. The beds were comfortable (new mattress since last year!) and the towels and sheets provided were fine. The kitchen has adequate pots and pans but no large pot for pasta or lobster so keep that in mind. The appliances are in good condition and it's convenient having a washer/dryer in the unit.

Great Location

My family and I went on a day trip to Block Island. We decided to rent Mark’s VRBO to avoid having to make a long drive home. The location was great, being so close to Point Judith. The property was clean and the check in process was very easy. We really enjoyed hanging out on the back deck. Would recommend to family and friends

Excellent Beach Getaway

Had a fantastic week staying here! Great location! Close to local restaurants, ice cream, beaches and the local theater. A town beach pass is provided. Very quiet and it has a beautiful deck with a table and chairs and lounge chairs. The hosts were very easy to work with and very accommodating! Highly recommend this rental.

Awesome summer getaway! Amazing location, steps to The Pub and Ocean Mist. A short walk to ice cream and a beautiful beach. Owners are on property but not intrusive at all. The deck and outside shower are awesome!

Great overnight visit

A clean and quiet place, not far from the beach! We only stayed for one night but wish we could've stayed longer! Beautiful neighborhood to explore and Kingstown Beach was nice as well. Despite it being busy on the main street, very quiet and peaceful at the house. We really liked the large deck too!

Had such a great time while staying here! The property is very close to the beach (beach pass provided) and great restaurants/bars all in walking distance. Mark was great and the house itself was stocked with anything we could have possibly needed. Highly recommend and would definitely return in the future.

Seriously, walk to it all

Mark and Julie's place is a simple, clean two bedroom upper level of a house. In and out is easy. Walk to everything. No need to ever get in your car. I could walk with surfboard or paddle board to the Deep Hole surf spot or just off the Ocean Mist. In wall AC kept main living room and kitchen cool. Bedrooms were a bit warm, in case there's a heat wave. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful beach getaway!

We had an absolutely lovely time for our girls beach getaway. The house was perfect for our needs, super clean, spacious. If you cook a lot, I would recommend bringing one or two sharp knives, it’s the only thing I truly missed. We used the deck every day for coffee in the morning, drinks and diner at night. You can hear the sound of the waves, it’s very relaxing. The deck faces the marsh, which provides a nice, relaxing background. The beach is just a short walk away and if you have a lot of gear, there is a parking pass you can use if you need your car. Very quiet, super chill neighborhood, not commercial at all (no hotels, boardwalk or anything in that category). Although we did not try it, the Ocean Mist seemed attracting with its nice deck overlooking the ocean and its lively atmosphere. There is a small grocery in town but if you need to do a larger run, you will find everything you need in Wakefield (grocery, liquor store, pharmacy, fish market, etc) which is a 10 minute drive. If you wonder if a day trip to Block Island is worth it, we would highly recommend. You can easily walk from the ferry terminal on the island to Crescent Beach (we brought our beach chairs that we carried on our backs, there is a rack on the ferry to place your gear so you don’t have to worry about it and enjoy the ride), no need for a car. You can also rent beach gears directly on the island if you prefer. Mark was a great host, very easy to communicate with, quick to respond to any questions. And he lives downstairs if you need anything. I would rent this place again without hesitation! Thanks again Mark!

Great beach house

This was a great property and was perfect for a quick getaway. Second floor apartment was clean and stocked with all the basics. Nice deck to sit out in the back. Owners live downstairs and were available but not intrusive. The location is great—you are close to the neighbors, so could be noisy as times, but within walking distance to beaches and a coffee shop. You can see The Pub and Ocean Mist from the deck which were great for grabbing food and drinks at any time of the day. Would definitely rent again!

So Relaxing!!

My husband and I so enjoyed our stay! Perfect location, very comfortable, and just an all-around great vibe! Had the best nights sleep We have had in months! So close to the beach we spent each day relaxing!! Marc and Julie were wonderful hosts! We are looking forward to returning again!

Spacious and convenient

My sister and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Matunuck is a really special place that has grown dear to my heart since I serendipitously discovered it 5 years ago. Daddy’s Bread and the folks who leave fresh eggs out in coolers for honor system payment, Trustom Pond National Wildlife Refuge, Ocean Mist, the great beaches, and of course the Oyster Bar where farm to table lives – next time I plan to take their aquaculture tour – all of these things and so many more make this part of Rhode Island a great place to visit. This property was true to description and has two spacious bedrooms and two futons in the living room. The view from the front of the property isn’t much but the view from the back deck (the view that matters) over the marsh is pretty spectacular. Lots of bunnies running around and we saw a huge Osprey trying to get to something that must have nested in the neighbor’s chimney. Sunset and sunrise views from the deck are both great. In the evenings all you can hear is birdsong and the ocean unless there is a band at Ocean Mist. The property’s stumbling distance proximity to Ocean Mist is mostly a good thing if you like beach bars that open from 10am to 1am, serve awesome food all day including amazing breakfast, practically sit in the ocean, have super friendly staff, spectacular sunsets, and great music. The only disadvantage is that you can hear the music from the property when there is a band. We had a great time at their “Sunday Funday” with an awesome cover band, Wicked Peach, from 4 to 7pm. We had the luck of spotting a Leatherback turtle making its way past the deck that sits off the back of the place. The town beach is within walking distance and the property also comes with a parking permit in case you don’t want to lug your beach stuff on foot. It is a beautiful beach but the restroom facilities were locked and we had to use the porta potty on site. Also close by is the great East Matunuck State Beach that has excellent changing facilities and Salty’s Burger and Seafood stand. We didn’t see much of the hosts but they were very friendly (they live on the property in the lower unit) and helpful and the check-in process was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.
