Beautiful historic home centally located to so many fun attractions!
Centrally located between Newport, Narragansett and Boston. See it all from one location. Beautifully decorated rooms, quiet location. Ten minutes from Providence and many colleges. Large porch. Hello
This place is good choice for stay. Historic place and many food places near by. Centre for all other popular places to visit. I recommend this place if you visiting Rhode Island with family.
The home was cozy and spacious and the perfect place for us to relax after day tripping. So many beautiful places less than an hour away from the location!
We were in Rhode Island for my college graduation. The house is nice. Very big with lots of space. We had 6 adults 2 young kids and there was plenty of space for all of us. Host was nice as well. Close to a lot of things, but felt very quiet. Would stay here again.
We picked this house based on its proximity to friends & activities we had planned to visit & do in the area. We were not disappointed! There was plenty of room in the house for the 5 adults & children to spread out and feel at home! The piano in the parlor was a nice touch as several of us have musical inclinations. The wrap around porch was a staple of our stay. From early morning coffees watching the sun rise to late night beers & story telling, when we werenât on the road to meet up with friends or participate in activities we were on the porch enjoying each others company. This property is saved in our list for potential future trips to the area for sure!
Communication was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
The house was amazing. It was clean and exactly what we expected. Our host was also amazing! She made sure we felt right at home. She was always a phone call away if we needed her. I give this place 5 stars and will definitely rebook if Iâm in the Northern Rhode Island area again!
Marie was so fast to respond to any of my questions prior to check in. She reached out to me the morning of check in to make sure I had all the information I needed. The house was amazingly clean!! The floors and historic detail in the home are beautiful!
She fixed the only issue we had which was a missing blanket for the pull-out sofa. We had a brand-new blanket within an hour dropped off at the house! The only thing I would say is that the house needs more end tables and oven pans plus a toaster. The side room could use a chair or two as some of us had to use the bench seating which gets uncomfortable after a while. Overall, this house was amazing as was Marie. I've stayed in many rental homes (and have a rental myself) and not many hold up to this quality. Thank you, Marie, for helping us enjoy the weekend!
We stayed here with extended family for my son's graduation weekend. The location was great, the inside was very spacious with room to spread out.
There is not many supplies in the kitchen. We had to buy Paper towels and trash bags. The kitchen had almost no basic items. We had to use a pot as a mixing bowl- no mixing bowl, only one knife which is a bread knife, so that was interesting for cooking! ha!
It could use a little more furnisher like a coffee table, more seating in the front room for everyone to hang out. We had to pull in a bench and chairs from the dining room to fit more then four people in there. Also the room next to it with fire place has no furnisher which is good for air mattresses. But you may not need them if there was another fold out couch in there.
Over all the place has lots of charm, character and potential and the hosts were helpful. It could just use some more furnisher, kitchen items and supplies in general.
The porch was great for hanging out!
This property has a ton of potential but definitely fell short of our expectations. We chose to rent a home rather than the hotel that the team was using so that we could have a full kitchen for our family. It was very understocked. There was no cookie sheet, casserole dish, no toaster. The freezer was not in tact. We were unable to cook and prepare food as we typically do for tournaments. Additionally, there was one TV in the home but not enough couches/chairs for us to all watch TV together. There were no nightstands, making it challenging for my husband to use his breathing machine to sleep. There was one 18â square mirror in the whole house. With 6 of us trying to get ready, and the girls wanting to braid their hair for softball, this was a silly issue to have. This place has all the potential in the world, but felt thoughtlessly prepared.
