This was our first trip to Hocking Hills, and Crocketts's Run (the Bowie cabin in particular) was stunning! The grounds were so quiet and peaceful, staff was always available if needed. We will 100% be back
We always enjoy our time at the Bowie cabin. When we come to Hocking Hills itâs the only place we stay. They have added a gas grill on the deck and a new, comfortable couch in the living room. The hot tub is excellent for relaxing after hiking. We had great communication with the host and the property was very clean. We look forward to staying here again in the future.
Cozy cabin with a great view. We really enjoyed spending the rainy weekend keeping warm by the fireplace and binge watching shows. Kitchen was efficient. We plan on coming back when the weather gets warmer.
I booked this cabin for a girls weekend getaway in January and I can't reccomend this property highly enough. The cabin was spotless, well maintained, and comfortable. The check-in process as the easiest I've ever experienced and the host was quick to respond via the app. My only complaint is that there's no up-to-date phone number that I could find on the listing in case you needed to call someone. I've been reccomending this property to family and friends and will definitely be booking again in the future.
The property was just as great as the listing showed. We loved the deck and hot tub. Had fun trampling around the trails on the land. Perfect fall getaway. Very quiet and peaceful. Would highly recommend the whole area and Crockettâs Run! Thank you for the enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed the property so much. We love a girls trip and this cabin was perfect. It was well equipped, beds and furniture were comfortable, really nice appliances. Didnât use the hot tub but it was nice to have it there. Would have spent more time on the great deck but it was cold and rainy. We used the fireplace though which was perfect and the TV got used a lot for some great movies at night. Will definitely be back!!
Centrally located to all attractions. The place was well stocked with everything. There were comfortable and beautiful rooms. The area was beautiful to walk around on the trails. The staff was kind and helpful. I would stay there again.
Wife and I stayed here a few days for our anniversary. It was an amazing stay. Very clean, comfortable, and secluded. I would definitely recommend updating a few things on the listing such as, purchasing ice(Venmo), chiminea(didn't see one anywhere) and maybe think about putting a tv in at least the upstairs room. Other than that, it was great. Thank you!
bedroomcomplaints from us! Thank
We had a great stay. Everything was clean and well stocked. The one thing I would say is that the sofas need to be updated. They are pretty worn down and uncomfortable but we didnât spend much time on them so it had little effect on our stay, but still worth mentioning for others. Great place overall though and would definitely stay again!
This cabin was perfect for a quick family trip to Hocking Hills. This is the third time weâve stayed at the Bowie. The inside is spacious, itâs clean and having two bathrooms is very convenient. The deck & hot tub were perfect for relaxing after spending the day hiking. Would definitely recommend.
This cabin was a perfect size for our family of 5. Small kitchen, dining, and living area with great views from the wall of windows. Time of year we came there were no leaves on the three, so was able to see the tepee/huts below. Had internet and hot tub which our children enjoyed. One main bath with shower worked great as there was a second restroom if/when needed. Only complaint were the beds. Not comfortable, one could feel the springs. Also plenty of pillows, but all soft like on a cotton ball, would have been nice to have a couple firm pillows. Great location, quiet area - parking lot was not used at the time. Great trail on the property and pond. Communication was great with owner and preparing us for the stay, potential bad/rainy weather.
Nestled in 55 acres of wooded terrain, Crockettâs Run enchants travelers with its secluded lodges and cabins, cozy canvas bell tents, and a stunning wedding, business, and event center. Our landscape features huge rock formations, private hiking trails, two waterfalls, and a serene pond for fishing.
Crockettâs Run is just minutes away from popular Hocking Hills attractions, such as canoeing, golfing, zip lines, horseback riding, craft, and antique shopping, and popular state and metro parks.
