What a nice property! So big and love the antique woodwork and built in cabinetry. Beds were comfortable. Felt very safe in this neighborhood. Very close to the college. Would definitely stay again.
Well preserved spot! There are decorations and items realted to the area and house's history throughout. Very easy checkin. Appreciated the staples supplied. It is so convenient to downtown and quick jaunt to grocery stores. Definitely recommend and hope to return!
Beautiful apartment, just the right size for our family of four. Bigger than the pictures convey in our opinions. Conveniently located to the college as well other attractions - short drive to Mansfield, about an hour from Cleveland and 90 minutes from Columbus. Wouldnât hesitate to stay again!
The house was absolutely beautiful and it felt like home from the start. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. He responded to our request right away. We've already recommended staying here to several friends and family members.
The apartment was beautiful and the neighborhood quiet and not far from restaurants and shopping. I had a quiet walk everyday and the owners responded timely. Definitely worth the stay and would go again!
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Coxen House Inn. It is a beautiful house and wonderfully appointed. We had everything we needed. The location was perfect for our visit to granddaughter's senior art show. Thank you!
The property was lovely for the most part. There was a small step from hardwood floor to carpet in bedroom making it unsafe. Bathroom was not close to bedrooms making it challenging at night.
We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint apartment. It was very clean and surprisingly spacious! We were even able to host a small gathering with family over the Christmas holiday. Sure beats staying at a hotel! We would highly recommend and will definitely return when we visit Wooster again!
You will have the entire apartment to yourself and will not be sharing the space with anyone else during your stay. There are two bedrooms and three beds. This home was originally built by Frederick Coxon in 1922 He along with his brother and nephew operated one of the finest china companies in America located in Wooster from 1927-1931. We have tried to keep as many original elements of the home as possible, such as original woodwork, hardwood floors, built in cabinetry, etc. Come and step back in time to admire some of the original workmanship of the era.
You will have access to the residence through a private entrance at the rear of the home and one at the front of the home. Please note that the front entrance allows you into a common area in which there is another entrance that has a key code access that will allow you into your private space that has all amenities, such as living, dining, kitchen, bath and bedrooms. There is a washer and dryer located in the common area that you are more than welcome to use during your stay. We are available if needed or desired. We plan to let you enjoy your stay in private and do not plan on having any interaction unless there are any questions or concerns. We are also more than glad to meet you if you would like if there are any questions. This is a private apartment that you have to yourself during your stay. You are not sharing the apartment space with anyone else during your stay.
