With so many great golf courses in and around Dorr, we love welcoming groups who come to the area for golf trips. We've always felt our home is a great fit for a day on the course followed by an evening of grilling, relaxing in the hot tub, and enjoying time together. Nicole, we're sorry your experience wasn't 5-stars. Yes, our home is located in a residential neighborhood, but we've only received one other complaint in 5+ years and with over 100 rentals. Blasting music outdoors on a Monday night past quiet hours understandably disturbed the neighbors. Unfortunately, the NoiseAware sensors recommended by Airbnb malfunctioned afterward, which is why we initially contacted you. Once we realized it was a system issue, our property manager and owner felt the right thing to do was reach out directly, apologize, and assure you everything was fine. Guest communication is very important to us. We even assured you that you would still get a 5-star review as a guest since you mentioned your rating was a concern. The detached garage serves as a storage facility, apartment, and former workshop. The "facility manager" has no view of the pool from his apartment. His job is seasonal, and he is pretty much gone during the summer and fall. He only spends a substantial amount of time on the property in the winter. We clearly disclose this in the listing and reiterate it in the welcome email we send a week before check-in. We always strive to provide the perfect "home away from home" experience and have built an excellent track record with all of our guests. As hosts, we ensure transparency by doing our part and clearly outlining all rules in our listings, rental agreements, and welcome emails to prevent issues like this from happening.
