The property is beautiful and Zoe is a wonderful host. I did make a couple suggestions for the owners which included rails at the outdoor entrances and grab bars for the showers especially on the main floor.

Incredible view! This home is extremely comfortable for a group of 6 couples and 1 baby. Every couple had their own bedroom and full bathroom. Beds and couches were comfy. Great kitchen! 3 dishwashers, and all the kinds of dishes you could want. The host was very accommodating to make the stay easy for us before we arrived. It was easier to drive up to this property than many other mountain properties we’ve stayed at. Everything at this house is in great condition

If you’re looking for an escape from the world, this is the place. The owners go out of their way to provide a beautiful and scenic home up in the hills. Our party of 10 (4 couples and 2 solos) felt right at home with the wonderful setting. Our many guests just adored the place.You will love the campfire at night and the hot tub and sauna. We certainly did.Highly recommended.

Amazing place! Zoe was great to work with. The drive up is maybe not for the faint of heart but we got used to it. Otherwise everything was exactly as pictured/promised and we had an amazing wedding celebration. Big thanks to Zoe and her team!

The host Zoe was fantastic!!! She was so easy to work and communicate with. The Mountain View was spectacular! There were so many wonderful memories made while we enjoyed family games around the huge dining table. The rooms and bathrooms accommodated multiple family members which was key to celebrating our parents wedding anniversary. The extras like the jacuzzi and sauna made our stay even more special. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an incredible experience in the mountains.

Mountain Top Escape was just what we needed to host a micro-wedding with our family. The views were Spectacular and the amenities fabulous! Everything we needed was available including extra towels, a large baking pan, binoculars, and directions for working TV's and fans. Hummingbirds visiting while we had our morning coffee on the deck was also a nice treat. Your house is stunning! Thank you for sharing.

This is the most wonderful home and property. Everything is sparkling clean and the hosts go over and above anything I could’ve expected. The house has the most well stocked kitchen of any home we’ve ever rented, including spices, oils and vinegars, etc. The host were very generous with all the toiletries and paper products.There is plenty of room on the spacious deck for a big group to eat outside and watch beautiful sunsets. There were lots of games going on at both the big round table in the kitchen and the large table in the dining room. Kids enjoyed the basement area.Houses responded very quickly and were great to work with.

The house is just wonderful--very spacious and well-appointed. The kitchen had everything (including 2 dishwashers). The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the game room and jacuzzi were great fun . We were nine, ranging from 9 to 78, and we all loved the house and the fact that we could come together but separate when privacy was desired.Outside, the deck is large and comfortable with phenomenal mountain views. Sitting on the deck was beyond peaceful, as there are no other houses nearby, and there is no vehicle traffic. The only sound was birdsong--and lots of it. Delightful.The fire pit was a hit in the evening, especially for the s'more lovers.Our host could not have been more accommodating. She responds quickly and is very helpful.Our whole family loved our time there, and we hope to return next summer.

Absolutely beautiful property! Zoe and Bruce were wonderful hosts, very accommodating and helpful. We hosted our wedding for 55 people here and it was the most gorgeous backdrop for our special day. I couldn’t recommend this property enough!!

Everything about this home was great! It is definitely high up in the mountains and the drive is nerve wracking at night but the view is spectacular. They literally have everything that you would need for a fun weekend!

Hi Courtney - We are so happy that your stay was great and thank you for the 5-star review! We want every guest to feel they received a 5-star experience at Mountaintop Escape. That is in our DNA and has not changed one bit as we approach our 14th year!! The road to the top is a beautiful mountain road - 2/3 paved and the rest solid gravel. Wide enough for two cars to pass and everyone is mindful of each other. The azaleas line the entire road and are magnificent when in bloom. Often you will encounter turkeys, deer, fox and, yes, even a bear who will wave and scamper into the bush. At night the stars are so bright! No lights to diminish the views and, oh my, when the moon is out it will mesmerize you shimmering against the night sky. And hardly another car is stirring. Put your high beams on and you'll be on top before you know it enjoying a nightcap at our fire-pit, by the hot tub or all cozy in front of the fireplace. We hope you will re-book soon!
