La station de ski Sandy River est située dans un quartier ancien et calme de Brightwood / Welches, à l’ombre du mont Hood. La propriété est située sur la rivière Sandy. Vous pouvez entendre la rivière se précipiter à environ 200 'de la maison, une promenade courte au bord de l'eau, pour se promener le long des rives.

Randonnée estivale: Conduite très facile vers de nombreux sentiers de randonnée autour du mont Hood.

Rendez-vous au Ski Bowl pour profiter des loisirs estivaux sur le toboggan alpin et d’autres attractions estivales.

Nice mnt house

House was easy to get to, located in a neighborhood. Outdoor space is lovely and hot tub was very nice and clean. This spot might not be the best for families with young kids, there were breakable personal items of the owners that were labeled with very expensive costs to replace.. check out the Wildwood recreation site nearby! Only 4Mins from the house.

Lovely home amongst the trees

A quiet neighborhood, a lovely home with lots to do, a wonderfully well put together vacation home. The hot tub was great and the host was easy to communicate with and allowed us a late checkout which was the perfect compliment to our weekend. He even ordered snow for our stay and the fireplace made lovely ambiance. We loved all the games and cozy blankets and beds and we'd love to come back.

Short stay in Mt. Hood

We arrived at the house a couple of days late due to “crowd strike” and cancelled flights. David was so nice and easy to communicate with. He let us stay another day due to our late arrival. We loved the area and the house and grounds are exactly as shown. He gave us good info on hikes and restaurants

Great getaway! Super clean house. Excellent woodsy walk to the river. We enjoyed all the little extras this host provides. Sparkling clean hot tub. The host was once again very helpful. Enjoyed sitting in the quiet yard, enjoying our morning coffee.

Peaceful get away

What a great house, had everything we needed plus more. The hot tub was sparkling. Enjoyed the walk to a beautiful river with chairs to sit and relax. The yard was just as peaceful and relaxing to sit in on a quiet street. David the host was very helpful.

Wonderful place to get away

Excellent vacation home. Very cozy and relaxing among the tall doug fir trees. A quiet street. Super clean. Lots of Xtras in the kitchen. DVD'S, Games, Books galore. Perfect sparkling hot tub. Beautiful sounds from the river when soaking in hot tub in the evening. Great sitting places in the yard and next to the river. Host was very helpful.

Excellent! The only way to describe the sandy river ski house. The house and yard were well maintained. Spotless cleaning. Wonderful amenities. The hot tub was perfect after snowboarding. Comfy beds and couches. A wonderful setting down by the river. The host was very helpful. We'll be back!

Great place!

We had an excellent time! The house had all the amenities that we required and more. Perfect for people who need to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, but without the compromise. Super clean place and the hot tub was great to come back to after a long day of skiing and adventures. We enjoyed the quietness of the location, as well as the not-so-secret short path to the riverbank (we sat there for lunch!). Host was friendly, helpful, and provided a list of recommendation of things to do. Highly recommended!

Ski Week was Perfect

We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Hotub was great after skiing and was cleaned and serviced while we were there. Beautiful trail to the river. Just overall an excellent spot.

Kind host & comfy house

The house was very comfortable and clean, and in a great location for a fun weekend at Mt. Hood (only about 20 mins from Timberline). The hot tub was well maintained and a real treat after a long day of skiing! David was a very kind and communicative host. It was great to be able to bring our dog as well, and we all enjoyed the short walk down to the river.

Family Mountain Retreat

Sandy River Ski House was everything we expected. The house was clean and stocked with everything my family needed during our stay. The kitchen is large and well supplied with cooking needs. The two comfortable living areas gave our crew options for playing games or watching movies. The hot tub was wonderful after a great hike.

This house was so full of personal touches, and the garden and walk to the river were beautiful! We really felt secluded, and at the same time we were so close to everywhere we wanted to go. Lots of Room, Clean, comfortable and great location

The Sandy River Ski House is a great place to stay while exploring the Mt. Hood area. The place is large, very comfortable beds, a good hot tub, kitchen is good and the outside area is very nice. The house is very close to restaurants, groceries, and many really good hikes. I would recommend this place and would stay again when in the area.

Mostly comfortable and convenient

My friend and I stayed the weekend with our two dogs. I typically don't complain but I was particularly irked by a couple of things. When I requested to book, the owner reached out to go over the house rules. All rules were fine, but he made what seemed to be a pretty condescending remark, "Your reviews look really good. Let's keep it that way." I almost asked to just cancel the request but decided not to let the comment ruin my plans. My friend and I worked late and arrived after 8pm. After a hot week, the house was really warm and stuffy, with an odd plastic smell in one of the bedrooms. We were frustrated to find the A/C controls had a security code, which hadn't been provided, so we opened the windows and set up the fans. Odd that the house is advertised with A/C and there are a number of reminders to set the temp range, but no way to adjust without the code. The smell went away but the house remained uncomfortably warm until the morning. I was able to get the A/C code the next day. That said, the house is very quiet, clean, well-equipped and near a calming stream. The beds were quite comfortable, and we loved the hot tub and outdoor tables. There are plenty of food and activities options within a 5-15 minute drive. However, with lots of other rental homes available near Mt. Hood, I think I'll choose differently next time.

Hi, I have owned a vacation home for the past 35 years. I enjoy having my wife, adult son and our friends share our lovely home with us. We are outdoor enthusiasts. We love to ski, raft, hike, backpack, swim etc.. Friends love to join us at the Sandy River Ski House for fun, relaxation, sitting around the fireplace and in the kitchen making yummy meals.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It is next to the river (200') with easy access to all the fun stuff to do on Mount Hood. Just a short 50 minute ride from Portland and we can be sitting on the porch sipping tea and listening to the sounds of the river through the large fir trees.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house is situated in an older quiet and peaceful neighborhood. There is easy access to the main road for all your summer or winter outdoor activities.
