We really enjoyed getting to visit with our hosts. Feeding the goats and chickens made me miss home lol. The room is beautiful and the yard just beautiful. Thank you for making our anniversary so special.
Property was clean and inviting, and very peaceful. My husband and I have 2 senior pups, and the hosts are very accommodating to pets. There is a lovely fenced in area where the dogs can enjoy being off leash. There are 2 special horses and a goat family, as well as a variety of chickens that are available to be visited if you so desire! We stayed 2 nights, and enjoyed the short trip into Walla Walla to walk, and enjoy the restaurants and do some shopping in the boutiques. We were very pleased with our stay, Colleen and Vern were wecoming hosts as well.We hope to go and visit again in the future.
Just a few minutes from town, amidst other we'll manicured properties, all of which have some acreage, making it very quiet and private. The owners are the nicest people, sat around with us and chatted through the evening. The place is small and well kept, has half and half and a stocked keurig. Goats, chickens, horses, gardens on the property. The owners live right next door in the main house, easy if something needs fixing or explaining. I would definitely come back there...
Colleen and Vern are great hosts, and we enjoyed visiting with the goats, the chickens, the horses, and Gringo the dog. Fall is a great time to visit Walla Walla with its walkable downtown, beautiful mountain views, and wonderful wineries.
This is a great property! I have 3 things that I judge a rental on: cleanliness, whether or not the bed is comfortable, and if there is a decent shower. This property meets all three. It is very clean, the bed and pillows are comfortable, and in my opinion are both high-end hotel quality, and the shower is great. There is a lot of attention to detail with the decor, and it is such a comfortable and cosy space. I was traveling with my dog, and having a fenced outdoor area was great. Colleen and Vern are lovely hosts, and I enjoyed meeting the animals! I imagine I'll be booking again soon so that my husband can experience this great property.
The property was well kept and the hosts were generous with their time and treats for their animals. The âbarnâ was clean, quiet and very homey.
The rental is very close to town, plenty of parking and very quiet at night. Around the barn you can feed horses, goats and chickens.
We will certainly be returning.
The hosts were friendly and kind and encouraged us to interact with their wonderful farm animals. We got to feed them and pet them.
Our dogs had their own fenced yard and had a wonderful time!
It was very peaceful, quiet and the gardens were lovely.
A true escape from the city to ranch life in the heart of wine country-Can't wait to return!
Our stay was an absolute delight and we can hardly wait to go back. What a charming unit with every detail thoughtfully included such as a welcome bottle of local wine, keurig coffee maker loaded with pods, a private yard complete with adirondack chairs, lighted pergola and the highlight...the animals!!! Horses 'Shaman' and 'Mocha' were spoiled by all the treats our hosts Colleen and her husband left for us, giving gentle instructions how to feed them. They are so friendly and gentle, as are the cute herd of 5 goats and group of very colorful chickens. They provided several winery and restaurant recommendations which were spot on. We visited Sleight of Hand and Va Piano wineries for lovely tastings, both 5-10 minutes away. This was a very peaceful escape from city life...we highly recommend these hosts and their very special farm stay.
A nice quiet place to stay, with a place to sit outside and relax and can bring your furry companion. if no furry companion they one ones you can enjoy and feed. Clean and a nice set up. Great for a weeks stay for work or pleasure.
The host couple (and their fur friends) were friendly and helpful providing an excellent stay experience. We loved our time there. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Amazing hospitality and extremely friendly hosts. The animals were a great treat, and loved feeding them carrots and marshmallows. We will definitely be back!!
Colleen and Vern were so warm it felt like we were long-time friends or family. We stayed for 10 nights on a business trip with three dogs...which was a bit tight, but the place offered us everything we needed. We really appreciated the large bathroom and fenced-in dog area. (It is truly ideal if you're traveling with a dog.) And that bed is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever found during travel. The location is also spectacular. We needed to go all over for business and it was easy to get almost anywhere. Of course, the horses and goats were fun, too!
What a lovely concept! The comforts and experiences of Walla Walla with your neighbors who happen to be horses and goats! Gringo welcomes you (and our dogs) while our hosts offer an evening to sit amongst the stars, the animals and good conversation
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the barn. Colleen and her husband were very warm, welcoming and caring. The apartment is very nicely appointed and comfortable, with all you need. Great for the dog. Nice little fenced in yard to be able to let him go off leash. Feeding the horses carrots and meeting the goats and chickens was fun.
