Hosts were great! Property was just what we needed for a brief stay in town with our dogs in tow. Amenities were as promised and the location was very convenient.
We were in town for a softball camp and college visit at WMU. We were not at the residence much over our two day stay. The property was cozy, clean, and perfect for our trip. The beds were comfortable. As noted the road is busy. Traffic can be heard but it didn't interfere with our sleep. There are fans available that can help cover up the noises. We were there in the winter, it snowed and was cold. The garage was an awesome asset to have! There are stairs and you enter the home into the basement from the garage. However you could also walk around to the front door to avoid the basement stairs. We were happy to avoid the snow and use the indoor stairs. Snow came overnight and we headed to WMU in the morning. When we returned the sidewalk and drive had been cleared of snow. Communication was good with the owner, there are also instructions at the home. Every room is nicely decorated. Fast food options are convenient and just up the road. Several food options can be found further down the road. Due to our busy schedule, and the weather, we didn't do much in the area. However its location is convenient to the University. Overall we would recommend this home, it clean and a great value.
Although it was for only 1 night, we really enjoyed our stay. The house was the perfect size for myself and 2 friends, and we especially loved spending time on the back deck.
My wife and I stayed at this wonderful place while attending a gift show. The location was perfect as was the accommodations. Our host Jenny was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would come back again.
Cute house with a cozy feel! We stayed for UKC Premier! The Host was hard to get ahold of at times but would reply eventually. The yard was great, a cute porch and fireplace. The house was warmer than ideal especially upstairs but downstairs was cooler! The pantry was stocked with goodies when we got there! I would definitely stay there again!
The house was so comfortable. Had plenty of sleeping space and anything we needed. Just like being home but with 100 years of history included in its charm.
Really cold while I was visiting so I did not get to explore the area much. The house was very comfortable and clean. The owner Jenn was very responsive and helpful.
Everymanâs House served as convenient lodging for our weekend in Kâzoo. We were fascinated by the background and significance of this house. It retains many of its historic features while providing modern conveniences. As mentioned, there was significant noise with heavy traffic use at certain times of the day.
We truly enjoyed our stay here for Westerns Parents weekend. Bonus is we were able to take our dog. Great back yard for our golden puppy. Close to the main road but overall great location.
Thank you for letting us enjoy
Jenny was great- very responsive & helpful, lots of good directions over message and in the house guide book on location. House is very cute, cozy, clean and well decorated. Lots of space. Only downside is the busy street- noise made it a bit harder to sleep.
The house met all our needs. The kitchen was well equipped. Backyard was fenced in for our dog. Our only issue was the loud traffic noise. All the bedrooms have windows facing the street. Recommend ear plugs if staying. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Just a heads up the billing for the house has a different title. Same host, but billed under a different property name in Battle Creek.
This property worked perfectly for a girl's weekend in Kalamazoo. It is centrally located to everything! It was very clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!
