Chalet mis à jour niché sur une crique isolée au cœur de la route des vins du lac Seneca est notre maison du lac que nous appelons «Getg Inn». Détendez-vous dans cette maison de 1100 pieds carrés qui est littéralement à 15 pieds du bord du lac. La vue panoramique est à couper le souffle. Située sur le côté ouest du lac Seneca, cette maison vous offre à la fois du soleil et de l'ombre pendant la journée. La digue est plate et à 15 pieds de la maison. Interdiction de fumer à l'intérieur de la maison, mais disponible sur le quai. Nous sommes entièrement meublés avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour profiter de vos vacances. 3 kayaks individuels disponibles - l'utilisateur doit assumer à ses risques et périls. Projection sous porche. Petite terrasse au large de la chambre principale.

Cette maison entièrement meublée d'un étage, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains est située près de Dresde sur le côté ouest du lac Seneca.

Maison du lac confortable, confortable et propre. Magnifique vue de face du lac pour regarder le lever du soleil. Trois chambres deux salles de bain. 6 couchages facilement [3 lits queen]. Rive ouest du lac Seneca sur la route des vins du lac Seneca. 15 minutes de Genève, Watkins Glen, Hobart et William Smith College, restaurants, épiceries, films, bowling, etc. Cuisine avec micro-ondes, cafetière, grille-pain, cuisinière, lave-vaisselle, four, réfrigérateur, tous les ustensiles, casseroles et poêles. Linge fourni.

Quai disponible pour l'amarrage du bateau.
Projeté dans le porche avec terrasse de la chambre principale. Belle cour gazonnée. Magnétoscope et DVD avec des films variés (y compris des films pour enfants), natation, bonne pêche, l'eau commence peu profonde avec une pente progressive. Paroi de mer avec accès au lac depuis le quai par échelle. L'heure d'arrivée est 16 heures et le départ est 11 heures. En été, la location de 7 nuits est préférée (du dimanche au dimanche). Location à la journée envisagée si disponible avec un minimum de 2 nuits considéré hors saison.(mars, avril, mai) En saison du Memorial Day au week-end de la fête du Travail, le séjour doit être de 3 nuits.

Gorgeous, clean cottage. Incredible lakefront.

We would come back here in a minute! The cottage was spotless clean when we checked in. It is very well stocked. Love that linens and towels were included. The dock and screened in porch are lovely for fresh lake air. The kids swam every day. Lots to do locally. Our hosts were gracious and communicative. Thank you! We’ll be back :)

Disappointed!

The house was NOT updated and cleaned as advertised. I noticed the ad now has eliminated the word “updated.” The furnishings are dirty/stained, and faded. Some pieces were even ripped/damaged. Overall the house was worn, old, and dirty. It needs a deep cleaning both inside and out. Most of the plates, towels, and bed sheets need to be replaced. We had problems with the water pressure, washing machine, sliding glass door, and kayaks. Host said they were aware of several of the issues but responded with this is our family lake house and we have never had anyone concerned about their stay. We were the first who expressed concerns. They did try to get a few of the things fixed while we were there. The kayaks were the only things replaced during our stay. The icing on the cake was the old dirty pair of panties we found on the master bedroom mattress when taking off the sheets at the end of our stay. The host did agree to refund some of our money after I contacted Vrbo. They then said they would not refund any money. I contacted Vrbo again and words were exchanged and host agreed to the refund. Overall we were very disappointed with the house as this was our vacation and we just wanted to relax and enjoy spending time with our family. If we wanted to deal with all the issues of the house, we could have just stayed home.

30th Anniversary

The house was very clean and thank goodness for the AC!!! We loved the location, right on the lake. We enjoyed kayaking in the morning and watching the ducklings. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views perfect location!

What a perfect location on Seneca lake ! We were pleasantly surprised by how large the cottage was compared to the pictures. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch and the views of the lake which was just steps away. Enjoyed taking our boat out for nightly cruises or just sitting and relaxing-the dock is beautiful. Hope to have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful cottage again some other time!

Fantastic Time!

Had a family- girls weekend at the Finger Lakes. It was our first time and we throughly enjoyed all wineries and most importantly, the house. It was clean, kitchen fully stocked with supplies, and beds were comfortable. Had to call Dan and Sarah for a little error on our end and they were quick to respond. I spoke to Dan personally and he was kind and helpful! We loved being on the lake and are already talking about staying here next year!

Perfect property for a relaxing getaway

We have stayed at this property multiple times in the past and absolutely love it! It is one of our favorite places to vacation. It is right on the lake and has the most amazing views! You can't help but relax. It was perfect for our party of 6. The kitchen is fully stocked should you want to cook a meal at the house. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the dock and fire pit after a fun day of exploring. There are so many wineries, breweries and distilleries in the area that you can't visit them all! Watkins Glen is a must too. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home.

Great Host

This host was very responsive and gave us wonderful suggestions in the area. We enjoyed out stay. We only had 4 people. I think 6 people would be a little tight at times. But great house & location.

Wonderful week at the lake

We had a very nice relaxing time at this lake cottage. It had everything we needed for the five of us. Nice screened in porch to enjoy the sunrise, kayaks to explore the lake, and beautiful Watkins Glen to enjoy some hiking nearby.

Peaceful Retreat

This by far was our best Fingerlakes stay. The cottage was adorable, had everything you can think of. We travel with our elderly parents, the ease of 1 floor living, minimal stairs was perfect. We were grieving the loss of my father x1 week. This cottage provided us the peace and calmness we needed to start our healing. The sunrises were incredible, Vineyards are plentiful. The owner was accessible and very prompt if we had questions. This place is a treasure and we will be returning again. Thank you!!

Great get away!

We absolutely loved spending a few days in this lake home. The home and property was beautiful! The views were spectacular. The owners are simply amazing! They got back to us in a timely manner and were always available when we needed to reach out to them. Wonderful people! Can’t wait to stay again!

Outstanding Views!

The cottage was clean and beautifully decorated. The dock and screened-in porch were amazing! Just a couple of minor negatives are the gas grille was really dirty (we didn't use it, too much to clean while on vacation!😉), extra toilet paper and body soap (for showers) would have been appreciated. Overall a great experience, we would definitely rent again!!

Weekend Getaway on my beloved Seneca Lake end of July 2022

The cottage was beautiful and was stocked with everything we needed. We have rented a few cottages in the past and bring items that have been worn quite a bit such as the fry pans or utensils for the grill. But this cottage had everything and was in perfect condition. Beautiful sunrises every day, Huge screened in porch made it even more special. The one thing that was not in good shape was the grill. The knobs for the valves did not lock or adjust the gas and the flame protectors were rotted and covered with aluminum foil. Had to wiggle the connection at the tank to get any kind of gas flow. Only way to shut of the burners was to turn the valve off at the tank. Very dangerous and unsafe! My husband managed to finagle it so we could use it but required constant vigilance. Other than that, it was perfect!!

Quiet cottage on Seneca Lake!

We had a nice stay with our family in this nicely kept home. Situated halfway between the north and south ends of Seneca Lake. We enjoyed the kayaks on the property and fished from the dock. Many nice wineries were close by and Watkins Glen was 25 minutes away. Hiking the gorge in Watkins Glen was amazing Great spot to stay.

Amazing

House was exactly as pictured and communication was on point and fast! Before and during stay. Amazing view and everything was clean and comfortable. Owner had excellent tips for a car service. A limo would not make it to the house but we had a mini van - no issues . This place is off the beaten path, literally a gravel road but that’s what we loved about it. Brewery at the entrance about a mile from property and we walked it. Will stay here again and recommend!

Perfect Lake Getaway

We LOVED staying at this property over Memorial Day weekend. It is so beautiful and secluded down a quiet road on Seneca Lake, but also right smack in the middle, close to wineries, restaurants, and great hiking. The house was lovely with a great kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds, and a perfect dock to play cards, drink wine, and enjoy the lake. The master bedroom is much larger than the other two, but we spent so little time in the bedrooms, it didn't matter! Would def come back again.

Cute, clean cottage with beautiful sunrises...

Third (or fourth?) great early fall stay here. Not a single hiccup. Having 4 wheel drive in/out is a plus but not a necessity in warm weather. Suggest book early, as this is a popular property.

Excellent!!!

Stop looking!! This is the place you want to go if you are heading to wine country in the Seneca Lake area. It is about halfway between Geneva and Watkins Glen and the house itself is about 40 feet from the lake. Long pier to enjoy a glass of wine on and the grounds are spectacular. The pictures are very accurate and the place is very clean. The hosts are very easy to communicate with and the provided recommendations on both restaurants and wineries to visit during our stay. I will stay here again if I return.

Its proximity to nearby towns on Geneva (15 min), Watkins Glen (15 min), and Penn Yan (10 min) provide us with more opportunities than we could imagine. And being right on the same private road as Climbing Bines is a huge plus!
