The house is less than 10 minutes from Sloan Park, which was important to us. Easy access to the highways to get to places like Scottsdale. Downtown Mesa bars and restaurants were a block away.
My friends & I were in town for 8123 Fest. This location was walking distance from the festival grounds & all of the side events as well! It was easy to find, felt safe & was clean. The beds were so cozy we slept great after our busy fest weekend! Don was super attentive & answered promptly when we had questions. Thanks for everything!
Great other place just a block from the light rail. Would like to use it as a base in the future to explore Mesa easy access into downtown Phoenix/Tempe.
This house was the perfect size for our family of 5 to stay in for a quick weekend to see friends. Our girls stayed in the bunk room, our son got his own room, and we were in the master. The beds were so comfortable, all 5 of us slept great! It was a good location for us with where we were traveling during the day.
Area seems like itâs in the middle of nowhere but you are actually close to many things to do in the Phoenix area. We were never more then a 30min drive from anything. Also close to restaurants in mesa area. 100% recommend staying here
Very clean and met our needs. The A/C was not cooling day 1 but the manager walked us thru a reset and worked just fine thereafter. Far better than a hotel as we reach had our own space.
We stayed for 4 nights w/3 kids. Beds are very comfy. Kids liked the bunk beds with 3rd pull out bed. The location is very close to great restaurants, it's walkable, however we did not feel comfortable walking.Couple things that were odd: There's no toilet paper holder and minimal towel hooks. Not a big deal, just annoying. The neighbors are very close and very sketchy, probably fine people but looks sketchy and scary. Google the address and look at the satellite view. Most concerning was the neighbor has a camera pointed directly towards the back door and patio area of this house. Not sure if it's hooked up or not, but it made us all feel uneasy and uncomfortable. Overall it was ok and we enjoyed Mesa!
We had plenty of room, the house was exactly as stated and communication with Don was great. The house was very close to our venue which also made the experience very good. We would stay there again.

The perfect place to explore the hidden gem of downtown Mesa
We liked this place so much that itâs the second time weâve stayed here in two Spring Training seasons. Itâs walkable to Gusâs Chicken, Oro Brewery, which is amazing, and the Cider place down the street. Easy Uber from PHX and has that amazing neighborhood vibe. We loved the gazebo with chairs in the back for sunny mornings over coffee. Don is a breeze and very attentive as a host. We will definitely be back!
If you like to wake up in the middle of the night to get something to drink and have roaches run everywhere when you turn on the light. This place is for you. If you like to go check on your daughter while she's sleeping in the other room and grab the door handle and see roaches crawling on the door. This place is for you. When I called the property company to tell them that I was going to leave the property because of roaches. They agreed to offer a partial refund. However when I received the partial refund they had billed me at a higher per day amount than what I had originally paid.
In other words they did everything they could to try to scam me out of my money. This was a clear violation of the health and safety standards. And I still had to fight to even get a partial refund. Closet door was leaning up against the wall. Most of the flooring is cracked. The refrigerator was dirty and the oven was filthy. And oh yeah the roaches... Working class neighborhood. Probably not a vacation destination. Good luck!
The kids room was great, love that it was one level with no pool for ultimate safety. Good selection of toys for 3 year old and minimal breakable âKnick-knacksâ to worry about. The home felt relaxing and clean, and the kcups were delicious. The home had a few minor maintenance issues, but the neighborhood was surprisingly quiet so overall a pleasant stay.
This was a nice little home. There are a lot of things that can bu fixed to make it more comfortable. It did the job. I wouldn't recommend as a honeymoon spot.
It was a very cute little house! The kids and us loved it. The backyard is empty and just a concrete slab. But everything else was adorable and very homey feeling.
This little house obviously had a lot of time and money spent on it to make it like it is. The inside is really cute and has plenty of space. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms have plenty of linens and pillows and blankets. The bathroom had extra toilet paper and the kitchen had extra paper towels which you don't see often in VRBOs. The bathroom towels were super soft. This little house is literally in the middle of everything and is walking distance to a ton of stuff in downtown Mesa. So if you are there for an event - this will be super convenient for you. Driveway parking and a nice backyard patio with lighting to hang out and chat in the evenings or morning.
With all that said there are a few things to note. Being in the middle of town it is really noisy.. It is in the flight path so there are airplanes flying overhead. The property description notes it is close by light rail.. what that means is train whistles all the time.. even in the middle of the night. If that will bother you - bring ear plugs.. This little house sits on a busy street.. So traffic noise.. sirens, etc.. pretty much 24/7.. again.. ear plugs.
Also - the bathroom could use some hooks to hang damp towels.. There were only two of us staying in the house so it was manageable.. if all three bedrooms are in use and being served by this one bathroom - there is nowhere to hang anything.. Some hooks on the back of the door or on the wall (for a hand towel) would be swell. Plenty of room in the shower for products and the shower head is high up for those tall folks and has excellent water pressure.
The TVs aren't hooked up to anything - so if you want to watch TV in the living room you should bring your own Apple TV or ask for the Netflix login password (or use your own).. The bedroom TV has Roku, etc.. but you need to ask for that login info as well. The Wi-Fi is super speedy, too.
Again.. cute house.. the owner obviously spent time and money on this place and inside it is super comfortable and cozy.. just need to be aware that it is literally IN TOWN and noisy and the houses on either side are a bit sketchy looking (the folks in them could be the best people possible.. but the homes themselves - look a bit sketch especially compared to this little remodeled gem).. Oh.. and bonus.. you are like walking distance from a Wells Fargo if you need $$.
Happy Traveling VRBOrs
Has a patio and a beautiful seating in a spacious backyard measuring 52ft x 42ft or 2184 sq ft. mostly concrete paved. Can also accommodate 7 persons in all!
