It is always a joy to stay at 7 Timbers Resort. Pat and Becky are amazing hosts. The property is beautiful and the pintler cabin has a rustic charm. It is very peaceful. We always stay at 7 Timbers when we are in the Seeley Lake area.
We used this as our home base while kayaking, biking, and hiking around the area. It is an older cabin but well maintained and very clean. Especially appreciated all the homey âcabinâ decor.
We had a great time. The cabin was set up with all that we needed. The property was beautiful, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Going back at the end of the season for another stay!
This property is fantastic. Itâs our second stay here and it will certainly be a place we take advantage of on a regular basis. The owners, Becky and Pat are extremely courteous, friendly and quick to respond to questions. The overall property is well maintained and the private lake access is the icing on the cake.
10/10 highly recommend.
We moved everything about this place. We tried to book our stay for next year and it was already taken. Pat and Becky always answered our questions and even came to see us when we checked in to make sure everything was good. We were so close to the lake and having the dock for the boat was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves and already booked with them again in a different cabin.

Getting to the cabin was awful. We were late in getting there (around 11:00 pm)so from the entrance to the camping areas it was pitch black. The first thing was a large bump where there was no sign so going even 10 mph it jared both of us when we drove on it. from the entrance to the camping areas it was pitch black and a large bump with no indication we for got about this several times going in and out and one time my glasses fell off and I bit my tongue, #2 no lights on the sign as to where the cabin was (the sign was painted green with silver lettering) there were directions as to what road to turn on, but being pitch black there were so many ins and outs we couldn't tell so we called the # on the directions, was an answer machine and no call back. Finally after looking longer (half hr)we finally found it. #3 finally inside cabin, My brother is 70 and I'm 79. He was planning on sleeping in the loft. No one above the age of 50 with any type of disability could climb the ladder to get to it so my brother had to sleep on the couch. #4 No free wifi.
Upon entering the cabin which was darling we noticed a very distinct musty odor. Despite the owners best efforts to have little bags of good smelling stuff and odor sponges all over the cabin, it was a very strong odor. The cabin sleeps 4 and luckily we didnât need it for 4. The ladder to the loft is super steep and the handrail feels like itâs about to fall out of the wall. I wouldnât dare sleep up there and if I had small children, Iâd be afraid theyâd fall trying to use that ladder. We were going to have our cousin come and visit the first night but when we read the rules, it stated registered guests only and anyone else would be charged $25.00. Maybe I misunderstood, but we chose to not have our cousin come and visit. We were told no campfires and I am very aware of the risks of forest fires this time of year, I did notice that the fire department in Seeley had the fire danger listed as moderate which is just one about low. So, that was disappointing. The third day we rented a wave runner. I texted the owner to let her know we were going to leave a cooler near the water. . I was told we had to pay $25 for a slip on their dock. When I told her we werenât using the dock, just going to pull up and grab a water I was once again told we would have to pay a $25 dock fee. She also told me I couldnât pull up to the shore to grab anything because it was too dangerous. The area for people to hang out is very small. Had a family of bats living in the siding of the cabin
We had a great weekend get away in this cabin and location. Would do it again in a second! The hosts were nice and friendly and the cabin was stocked with all the necessities.
We really enjoyed our stay, the property was clean and very nicely laid out. The dock and lake access was very nice also. I must say one of the nicest things though was how nice and sincerely friendly Pat and Becky are, truly super people and we would recommend Seven Timbers to anyone looking for a great getaway.
Pat and Becky have an amazing place. I love the unique ambiance of the private area right on the lake, and close to town. The cabin was more then i expected from the photos. We had a great time and definitely want to come back.
nice peaceful weekend getaway for Mother and 2 adult daughters. Wish there was more of a beach on property. We need have a nice view of lake from our cabin. We enjoyed our time
We loved our stay at the Pintler cabin. It was a very quaint cabin with plenty of space for the 4 of us. We had a wonderful time and took full advantage of the amenities offered. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and take very good care of the area.
