We loved this beautiful piece of property! We come to this area every year but we especially liked the friendly and responsive hosts who cater their property to families. It was nice to see kids play in the sandbox, walking with friends and enjoying the beautiful mountains of Montana. We hope to return soon! Thanks Pat and Becky!
Our family of 45 rented 6 cabins for a long weekend to celebrate our mom's 85th Birthday and family reunion. We had a wonderful time creating memories that will last a lifetime and Seven Timbers was the perfect place to do it! Thank you Pat and Becky!
Our family had a short little reunion involving this cool cabin and a couple of lovely RV spots nearby. The setting so BEAUTIFUL and well-maintained, and this cabin was the perfect place for us to gather together. The cabin stays cool in the daytime, which is also helpful when it is hot outside!
The kitchen was clean and had all we needed and we even did a little baking. Of course some updating could be done but overall the cabin was just fine. It is an old, large cabin and it was as expected. The only suggestion I would make, for the comfort of the guests, is that the beds downstairs could really use a mattress upgrade.
In short, we had a great visit here with our family, it was healing after a recent loss...at a time when we really needed that. We are grateful and thankful to the hosts for their willingness to accommodate us.
We were in the area for a large family event .. different families stayed at different locations . Our location did not want our extended family there at all. Thank goodness all the other places our extended stayed were very welcoming so we spent most of our time away from this property, so we could be with the family we had driven so far to see. The cabin still had remnants of a bachelorette party that must have stayed there sometime before us. and the 2 downstairs bedrooms were very small. The property had a laundry area with hook-ups but no laundry. The only redeeming factor was there was a nice little bar just outside of this property that someone else owned with live music.... We do trips every year and loved Montana . We will go back just not to this property, There are plenty of other places much more welcoming
This is a good place for a family gathering. We rented the lodge, Willow and Bitterroot. There is definitely room for everyone and great access to the lake. The only drawback is that you feel as though you are constantly on the brink of being in trouble with the hosts. The rules are extremely strict and it makes the whole experience tense. Pat and Becky patrol often and we hold our breath until they go by. The number of vehicles allowed, the number of guests and their names. No friends can drop by from the local area if they have not been on the list of paying guests. We have lived in this area for three generations and have many friends and extended family near, however we have to meet them in town as the area we are staying is off limits and under constant surveillance by the hosts and cameras. The Bitterroot was generous in size but not particularly clean with many cobwebs and dirty corners/bathroom floor etc. it does stay delightfully cool if you manage the windows properly. All in all, we enjoyed each other but not the overall feel of the Seven Timbers. We will not be back.
This is a cozy cabin property on lovely grounds by the lake. Cabin is clean and spacious with 3 bedrooms and an additional little den with a futon. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the well-equipped kitchen and eating at the comfortable dining table with room for all. Beds were very comfy! Weather was drizzly so we enjoyed watching movies on the dvd and sitting on the back porch drinking wine. We found lovely hikes in the area, just ask at the ranger station a mile away. Little bar at the main road in front of the property was a great spot to drop in for a beer. The hosts of this property are super friendly and attentive to make our stay perfect in every way. Highly recommended!
Check in was easy. Location of cabin in Seeley is not too far from town. Access to a dock was great for us because we had a boat. The cabin itself was ok. Minor things would have made the experience a lot better.
You couldn't ask for a nicer, more accommodating host! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hosts were very friendly and informative. They were more than willing to help with anything and were even there when we had troubles with our own equipment. It's located right by the lake and is absolutely beautiful! I would highly recommend a stay here to any friends or family member looking for an amazing getaway.
Seven Timbers has great lodging options to accommodate many different sized parties and multiple RV hookups as well. We have enjoyed coming here to the family friendly and laid back vibe. Close to town so a short trip for a bite is just a few minute drive. But tucked in the trees and set back from the highway makes it very quiet. The cabins are only a short 5 to 10 minute walk to Seeley Lake for sitting back and enjoying the view or the fun in jumping off the dock.
We had loads of fun playing on the dock. Great access to water (2 minute walk), The kids loved using the propertyâs pedal boat and canoe. They also spent HOURS just jumping off the dock. A highlight of our summer!
We loved our stay at the cabin! It was very clean and spacious and felt private from other guests! Thank you for making our 4th a great experience! We will be back!
The property is within walking distance to the lake. Shared campfire is a great way to meet others staying in this location. Amazingly large cabin with plenty of comfortable beds. Appliances worked perfect and cabins included everything you need for a relaxing stay in this beautiful part of Montana. Grocery store located a short drive in town and has everything you need. Extremely welcoming and friendly hosts. We will definitely rent from them again!
Can't say enough positive things about this listing. Owners are amazing, place was gorgeous, and we overall had the best vacation ever! We will be back!
