Excellente propriété pour les week-ends de Notre Dame - à environ 30 minutes de 🍀 ND! Le salon et la cuisine à concept ouvert offrent une table à manger pour 8 personnes. Les portes coulissantes ouvrent sur une grande terrasse avec des meubles et un gril à gaz. Nouvelle grande jetée avec des sièges et une table. À côté de la marina et de la rampe de mise à l'eau. Baignade dans les marches du lac à fond sablonneux depuis le pont. Très familial, vous aurez tellement de plaisir. Grand lac de pêche aussi !!

Enjoyed our stay!

My family including my husband, two daughters (5 and 8), and my mom and sister all had an enjoyable stay at the cottage. We enjoyed the fireworks display from the deck, and the parade in a nearby town. It was relaxing and fun!

Lakeside calm

Very nice older 2&2. We have stayed here before and like it very much. A peaceful hour in the fishing chairs at the end of the dock are great place to kick back.

Short Getaway

Stayed two nights for my brother's 60th birthday. Having our own place was much more convenient. The cottage was... clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would rent again.

Lovely weekend away

Absolutely lovely time in this wonderful property. Arrangements were easy and the stay was very peaceful. The home is very comfortable, bright and had tons of upgrades. Would highly recommend this home for your getaway!

Lovely get away

Love staying at this home. It was our 2nd Labor Day weekend here. It is always clean and comfortable. Location is great providing privacy but close to whatever you may need. Wonderful owners with great communication. Look forward to our next visit.

Great house right on the water!

This house is great and exactly as described! Very clean, had well stocked cabinets, and is right on the water. The neighbors are also very friendly. We had a lot of fun fishing off the dock and grilling and enjoyed our time here.

It was an okay place and the owner was accommodating, but for the amount of money we had to spend, we thought it should be more high end. We have stayed in several other places that were a lot nicer for less money.

Great house, great owner

We stayed for two nights a Jim home on Koontz Lake on a football weekend. Very comfortable and convenient to Notre Dame. Special shout out to Jim: he was incredibly accessible and responsive throughout the booking process and as our trip approached.

NJCAA Division II National Championship

Our son played in the Junior College National Championship at the Swan Lake Golf Resort. This property was just 5 minutes from the course. It was so nice to come back to the lake house and relax after a long day of golf.

Second stay better than first

This was our second year to stay. Friendly neighbors, quiet lake front. Clean home. Deck bbq’s are the best. Host has always been available for any and all questions. Planning to return in 2024!

Perfect getaway!

We had such a perfect trip! If you’re looking for a place where you can spend the day floating on the lake while listening to music and having some drinks, this is it! We grilled food for dinner and enjoyed the sunset and there were even fireworks we could watch. The owner was so helpful and responsive. He was the best! The neighbors are also wonderful people. Great getaway we wish we would have stayed way longer!

Great family vacation

Jim’s house was in a great location. The views of the lake from the deck were beautiful and peaceful. We most enjoyed the pier and fishing off of it. The kitchen was well equipped so we could cook all our meals there. The neighborhood is very quiet and people are friendly. Sunset from the dock was a highlight for sure. Communication with Jim was easy and fast. Thanks again for hosting us we had a wonderful time and would return.

Family getaway

We usually go to Florida every summer for our family vacation but due to me being in a really bad car accident a few months ago we decided to do something within driving distance. I thought a house on the lake was just what we needed, and I was right! It's very peaceful and allowed us to get some quality time together. There's not much to do around there but honestly I think that helped with family bonding time. If we decide to do something like this again I'd definitely book here again! Only regret, Tuesday - Saturday wasn't enough, I wish I would've booked a whole week!

Great location but property has some cons to beware of

Let me start the the cons and the pros. Cons first We arrived with a driveway we could not use. I was told a new driveway was put in but no notice from property owner we could not use the driveway during our entire stay! Apparently there seems to be a fine line between the marina parking next door and the rental property. Similar to the Hatfield and McCoy's. The marina owner was kind enough to let us park there while we unloaded our truck of 5 women and their luggage. We were told by the owner to park under a tree on the side of the road. Two inches from the electric box. A very tight fit when trying to get in and out of our car. There is a reason why there is no full picture of the kitchen. The stove is outdated and with no instructions on how to turn on this 1908 ancient model. I tried to turn on the burner and to my disappointment it wouldn't ignite. Thank god we planned ahead with a crock pot for prepared meals. The shower and the kitchen faucet had a stream of water. The End... I informed the owner we had water pressure issues and BOTH bathrooms had a trickle of water from the faucets. I was told this would be fixed ASAP. I guess that means after you leave???? Pros. The water was nice and Garry was a great neighbor.

Hometown visit

My husband grew up on Koontz lake. It was our first time visiting in twenty years and bringing our daughter. She had never seen the lake or area that her Dad grew up. Perfect location and beautiful lake views. We enjoyed a meal on the deck and night and coffee in the morning.

Ladies Retreat!

The house was just the right size and accessible for older adults. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities. It's a nice size lake, the water is shallow by the pier so you can swim and float. We even rented a pontoon!
