Our family did a 3 night stay and we had an excellent time. Clean, convenient, a well stocked kitchen, and we loved the private pier, fire pit, bikes, and yard games!We would definitely return for more fun!

This is a well thought out property. A great house with so many seating options. The beds are the most comfortable we have slept in. We will stay there again. The host was so great! This place has everything!

Cozy Lake Cottage with a great view and lake access. Was perfect for our family! We especially enjoyed kayaking, swimming and sitting by the bonfire every evening. Would rent it again!

This darling cottage is perfect for relaxing on the lake and making great memories! The cleanliness and amenities offered allow for the perfect get away. Ana was amazing at communicating. We will definitely stay here again!

Our family enjoyed another fabulous stay at Chillin Away! Beautiful property with amazing lake views! Every detail down to comfy bedding has been thoughtfully provided. It was incredibly hot during our stay (upper 90s) and Chillin Away stayed nice and cool! Very family friendly!

A weekend getaway by the water is exactly what this lakefront cottage was made for, and it means a lot to hear the cleanliness and communication hit the mark. A 45-year Culver reunion is the kind of thing you plan for months, and we're so glad Chillin Away at Bass Lake Indiana could be part of it! Knowing the cottage felt like a home base for your group was exactly what we were hoping for. We love that the dock, kayaks, and bikes got some use, and that everything felt well stocked when you arrived. We absolutely loved our stay! The place was charming and had everything you need for a relaxing weekend in the lake. Our family thoroughly enjoyed kayaking, biking, playing lawn games, and making cotton candy! The sunroom was great for reading with the lake view. The outdoor fire pit was perfect for making s'mores in the evening. We can't wait to be back!

The house was decorated so tastefully and had everything one would need.. the enclosed porch was awesome! With a lake view the sunrise and beautiful sunset! We had five people and the size was perfect!

Carol, we are so glad the timing worked out for your Culver Academy visit and that Chillin Away at Bass Lake Indiana could be your home base for it! The campus is beautiful and we love when Bass Lake provides a peaceful retreat in between all the activity. The enclosed porch is one of our favorites too. And Bass Lake in summer with a longer stay is on a completely different level; we would love to have you back when the water is warm and you can fully soak everything in. I came to this part of IN with a friend for an art show in Culver, and this was a wonderful haven in the midst of a hectic weekend. The house was cozy, comfortable, and serene. I would definitely stay again!

Great lakeside cottage with dock

We were delighted with the style, decor and location of this lakeside cottage. There are fun items for play - bikes, games, paddle boards… The warm, shallow lake is a treat. Loved the seating on the property’s own dock, too.

Chillin Away in Bass Lake is a perfect resort! All the thoughtful amenities and tasteful decorating as well as the location on the lake makes this place so enjoyable! All the comforts of having everything you need ! Owners are wonderful. Don't hesitate to stay here while in Bass Lake Indiana

A perfect lake getaway. Our Host made sure that her home was comfortable, welcoming and well stocked. There was nothing that wasnt provided and it was i believe the cleanest rental we've had. Highly recommend the property for a great lakehouse getaway.

we loved the house. decor and finishes were very nice new and attractive. this worked out week for our stay to visit family. the only shortcomings we witnessed were not having a dishwasher and the faucet in the bathroom sprayed all over you every time you used it. otherwise, it was a very nice place for a young/small family or a couple.

Love the view

It’s a great place for little getaway. Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. The kids and I had a great time together kayaking and swimming in the lake, my parents got to fish at the private pier during our stay as well. this is my first time visiting Knox, It’s very quiet and slow, and I love it! The host is very sweet and always responds fast. We are definitely coming back.

Absolutely Perfect Stay!

Our experience at this lovely place was just what our family needed! Everything was exactly as described - maybe better! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal - peaceful and quiet, with a lovely patio and pier all our own. We kayaked, went paddle boarding and biking. We played lots of cornhole and had dinner at the Woodshed Tap on Bass Lake - rustic, but the food was great! We've stayed in many vacation rentals, and this one stands out for its attention to detail, comfort, and responsive hosts! We'll be back!
