Our family of six had a wonderful time. The game room downstairs was great for hanging with the the kids. It would be a great man cave. The pool table was very nice which I very much appreciated. The home was very clean. The water feature outfront is very soothing. The frogs go completely crazy at night there. There were so many times I just left the door open to enjoy how peaceful it was. They views were epic to say the least. Cookware was top notch, very appreciated. The owner is all about coffee which totally works for me. Ive owned a few coffee shops and am all about quality... Thank you Siamak the place was worth every penny... Its only money... Tried to upload photos but the app would not let me... Typical...
A great getaway, quiet, clean, and private. The great room with fireplace a wonderful place to gather and make memories for a lifetime. Owner was great to work with and checked in on our safety as a snow storm joined our celebration!
What a beautiful home! Hosted my bachelorette weekend at this house. Easy drive (or uber) to all local attractions including the Pearl District. Very easy to get in touch with Siamak. Home was very clean with great views of Portland. I would recommend this home to anyone and would be more than happy to stay here again on my next trip to Portland, Oregon.
What a lovely property this is. The photos of the house are accurate, but what's missing is how amazing the view is. On a clear day you have an excellent, unobstructed view of downtown Portland, as well as the entire valley below- which the hot tub also looks out over. There is a pool table, nice card/game table, and putting green to amuse yourselves if you're staying in. It's not far (20 minutes drive) to Portland if you're going out. There's a ton of space and a really lovely living room in particular. And your hosts are communicative and attentive even if they are out of town.
Highly recommended, if you'd like to treat yourselves to a luxury stay-in weekend.
This house is absolutely stunning. The view is really what makes it award-winning.
It has very modern furniture, which isnât the most comfortable, but it worked just fine.
We werenât able to use the hot tub because it was too dirty to even consider, which was unfortunate, but okay.
One night when we got in late, we had a hard time getting into the house with the code we were given, which gave us a scare, but eventually it worked. Iâm not really sure what happened there.
We appreciated having a plain old coffee maker provided because the built-in espresso maker looked confusing and way beyond anything weâre comfortable with.
We did feel, at times, that we were staying in someoneâs main residence, due to the clothes in the closets and all of the items in the master bath.
But it was still lovely and we would highly recommend.
The owner was very kind and cooperative and quick with replying to messages.
WE ENJOYED THE HOUSE AND LOCATION. OWNER WAS VERY EASY TO DEAL WITH AND GAVE US EARLY CHECK IN WHICH WAS GREATLY APPRECIATED!
CONS AS A RENTER:
TOO MANY PERSONAL ITEMS IN THE CLOSETS AND DRAWERS--WE WERE THEIR TWO WEEKS AND NOT AN EMPTY DRAWER IN BATHROOMS TO PUT OUR THINGS
INSTRUCTIONS WERE NOT TO WEAR THEIR CLOTHES, REALLY??? IF YOU USE THE HOUSE AS A RENTAL LOCK THEM OUT OF REACH OF TENANTS.
THE OUTDOOR SPACES BOTH MAIN LEVEL AND LOWER LEVEL ARE NICE, BUT THE OUTDOOR FURNITURE WAS REALLY DIRTY AND NO CUSHIONS ON LOWER LEVEL
THE UPPER PATIO HAD ONE SMALL TABLE AND TWO SMALL CHAIRS ONLY, FOR SUCH A LARGE SPACE. THE OUTDOOR GRILL HAD ONE TEMPERATURE (HIGH)
THE ICE MAKERS DID NOT WORK IN ANY REFRIGERATORS OF THE HOME.
WHEN I BOOKED THE HOUSE IT DISPLAYED BEAUTIFUL WATER FEATURE WHICH WAS NOT RUNNING, AND SINCE I OWN A LANDSCAPE BUSINESS AND ENJOY OUTDOOR SPACE, THIS WAS A BUMMER.
I ALSO MADE MY RESERVATION VERY EARLY AND UNFORTUNATELY THE LANDSCAPE CREW WAS ON SITE WORKING FOR UPGRADES, BUT NEVER WERE , BUT THEIR MESS WAS---I DID NOT MIND THE WORK GOING ON, BUT TWO WEEKS OF LOOKING AT THE MESS I THINK WAS NOT THE MOST PROFESSIONAL WAY TO REPRESENT THE HOME.
THIS COULD BE A GREAT RENTAL, BUT MORE ATTENTION TO DETAIL NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE.
A Great Location in a Quiet Neighborhood with Amazing Views
Beautiful home with amazing view in a quiet neighborhood made a great place for my teams to do some new year planning. Because we were still in the metro area, catering and food delivery was easy. The home had everything we needed and then some! The game room was perfect for unwinding and deck was perfect for storm watching and sunsets. We will be back!
This house is soooo beautiful and views you can't imagine how breathtaking they are. We enjoyed our stay. My son got married and we rented for a long weekend. It was perfect for the home base for all the family and friends who had come from out of town to visit when on our down time from wedding festivities. The manager was amazing to work with. He was very helpful and accommodating. The only down side is minor. I cooked a lot while there for a wedding brunch and a family dinner and the kitchen is lacking a few things if your a cook and the stoves were not heating properly we had to finish cooking on the bbq (thank god for that) Everything took twice as long to get ready and stressed me out, but the house is very comfortable and in a very very nice neighborhood.
House is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Master bed and bath are on the main floor with 2 additional bedrooms and private baths on the lower level with game room. This worked out great for 3 couples traveling together. Host was easy to work with and responsive with questions. Would stay again if in the area.
Very comfortable but could use some consumer tweaking. The adjustable light switches are more trouble than they are worth. The TV situation is inconvenient for watching games during football season., locking the temp and jets on the hot tub was very disappointing. Overall we enjoyed the house and the view and appreciate it being available for our trip.
beautiful views in this large, luxurious house. good location to Portland, Mt. Hood, and Willamette. Only complaint is lack of furniture on the decks. Made it difficult to eat outside and for all to comfortably sit to enjoy the view.
We enjoyed straying here on our trip to Portland area. The house is large with plenty of space. Great view of Portland and sunset we enjoyed every night. Weâd come back in a heartbeat!
The house is gorgeous and the views are exquisite! We stayed for the long 4th of July weekend and you could see fireworks for miles.
The host was very communicative and very kind.
It was a wonderful experience all around.
Beautiful views, and good space for couples traveling together.
I will echo some of the previous reviews and say that the kitchen could be better stocked with items like handtowels and oven mitts.
We had a great time in wonderful space.
THIS IS NOT A PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY! The owners have severe allergies, and while it's my fault for not reading the fine print stating hypoallergenic only, we had to scramble at the last minute to find boarding for our dog. This house should not have come up under pet-friendly listing searches, in my opinion.
Otherwise, we had a very nice stay, and the views from the house are just stunning! We were very touched that the owners checked up on us after a surprise (and unseasonal) snowstorm. We enjoyed the poker table and snooker table, and the kitchen is open and inviting. Be aware - while there were plenty of dishes and silverware, some basic utensils and appliances (plastic spatulas, measuring cups, etc) were not available. There were also a few maintenance issues, but nothing that interfered with our stay.
Portland was just a short drive away, and aside from the snow, we really enjoyed seeing the sights and spending some great family time together.
The home is absolutely beautiful and the view is gorgeous. Everything we needed for our stay was provided ie., plenty of necessities. (TP, paper towels, tissue, towels, bedding etc) The owner was wonderful to interact with. Very enjoyable.
Spacious, clean, chef's kitchen, huge covered deck with BBQ grill, hot tub with an insane view of the entire Portland region. Words don't do the view justice. What a special place.
