The Downtowner - Walking distance to Downtown Portland!
A Hidden Gem in Portland's Downtown area! A remodeled historic home with Public transport & light rail right across the street. A peaceful large Deck with trees for BBQ-ing and relaxing. Everything you could possibly want is within walking distance & everything is provided for your comfort.
We were a group of adult friends in town for a music workshop and had a great time. The location was convenient for us (there is light rail stop literally across the street), we found shops and restaurants nearby that met our needs and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. What we loved most was that the apartment was spacious and comfortable (just like in the photos) and we found everything we needed in the kitchen for coffee-making, cooking and serving our meals. Bedrooms were large with comfortable mattresses and bedding, with one on the ground level and three on the 2nd floor. However, the bathrooms are not handicap accessible if that is a requirement for your stay. The host offered many helpful suggestions too and responded quickly when I had a question. I would stay here again!
It was everything we could hoped for! Very clean property and everything worked. Nothing broken or out of place. Beautiful decor. Love the rugs. Location is the best! Thank you!
Wonderful host and would book again! The location next to the cheerful tortoise and food trucks is top notch. Groceries and transportation is a block away.Should be noted that this is a part of a duplex and that there is only one available free parking space. That wouldnât deter us from booking again!
The hosts of the property truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. There are cooking oils and spices, coffee and sweetners, and all appliances and cookware needed. There is a hairdryer, cleaning supplies, plenty of pillows and blankets, and information about the area provided. The outdoor patios are nice and comfortable too.The only negative is the location is directly across from the trolley/streetcar, so you hear the noise from 5 a.m. - midnight. The back of the house does not hear it as much. The host does provide ear plugs. We had a nice and comfortable stay.
Lovely big house, plenty of room. Well equipped in the kitchen and bathrooms. Convenient for city centre and the waterfront, walking or using the bus, tram.
This is an excellent VRBO and we would certainly return. Beautuful house, well appointed, and easy check in and out. A real plus that's not listed, the TriMet stops literally outside the door of the house. Made it very easy to get around town and even better, to and from the airport for 5, what a deal!
Beautiful and thoughtful, well equipped. Great location. Nearby trolley only woke up one person but not really too loud and earplugs provided. Would stay again!
We had a great time. Four golfers in our 50's. Great place. Clean and well maintained. Close to campus so it was crawling with food options. Easy check-in / check-out. Thanks for a nice stay.
Our party of 5 (3 adults 2 teens) stayed here for 4 nights over the July 4th holiday. House was spacious and well located. Kitchen was well appointed and bedrooms were all nice. There were nice touches like places to put luggage and clothes, which is sometimes limited in rentals. We were in Portland during a heat and house was very comfortable. We loved the oasis on the back porch- lilacs were in bloom and we enjoyed all our morning coffee out there. Food trucks right around corner were super convenient. It was a 5 minute walk to PSU and about 20 minutes to waterfront park where music show was located. Public transit is really good so we did not need to rent car. Like every place weâve stayed in a city center, the house does get alot of noise (traffic) but after the first night it was not too much of a problem as you get used to it. We would definitely stay there again.
