Les plages de sable blanc de la cÎte d'émeraude sont à quelques pas de l'autre cÎté de la rue. Prenez un livre et une serviette et enfoncez-vous dans le sable de sucre et détendez-vous. Il y a aussi beaucoup de choix de restauration, y compris The Crab Trap et d'autres restaurants juste en face. Silver Sands Outlet Mall n'est qu'à une courte distance en voiture de ce condo.

We loved our stay! Excellent location. Very clean. I only wish the cleaners would have washed the floors. Walking around barefoot left my feet dirty everyday. That would be my only suggestion.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Destiny Beach Villas-6a The property was well maintained, pool area was nice with outdoor shower to rinse sand off. It’s literally a 1 minute walk across street and your toes are in the sand! Nice view of beach from front balcony and balcony off bedroom overlooks nice lake/pond.

Amazing Location

The views from the living room balcony of the gulf front is wonderful. The bedroom has a seperate balcony overlooking a lake is also a pleasent surprise. The location is close to everything you could need.

Everything was really great, the view to the lake was gorgeous. The first night we got there, there was no running hot water. But we called a service number and by the next day it was fixed, other than that it's a great place to stay at, beach was crossing the street, would stay again

Would come back!

My husband and I spent a weekend here and it was great! We were impressed by the location, pool and friendly neighbors. There was work being done in the unit below us while we were there and our water was turned off part of our first day, but even with that mishap we would return to the unit in the future.

The location and view of this rental is so beautiful. The condo is perfect for a couple to get away. The bedroom is on the backside so it’s very quiet and serene with the view of the lake.

Location!

You can’t beat this location! We rented a golf cart also, but it wasn’t needed except for having run riding around. It’s such a short walk to the beach and it’s a great beach location that’s not overcrowded like other spots. It also has two balconies with beautiful views! My kids really enjoyed the pool also!

location!

location is great! nice little lake sunset from the back patio and the beach from the front patio. Beach is literally across the street. caution as this street/area is really dark when the sun isn’t up. if you plan to cook or need anything, even coffee filters, prepare to have your own. if you bring everything with you, including beach equipment, this is a great place. AC gets super cold too.

I wish I could give you more than 5 stars for location

This is the third time we have stayed in Destiny Villa condos and 6a has been the best. If there was one thing I would change it would be that the chairs on the balcony were a taller chair. We liked sitting out front and we were eye level to the railing.

Everything about the property was great only issue being we showed up at 7pm on Sunday and realized we had no parking passes and the lot said they would tow without it so worried our car would get towed we called the Vacasa number asap they said they would get on it to get them to us, 2 days later someone finally showed up at our door knocked and left them under the corner of the welcome mat and ran away so wasn’t very pleased with that

The condo was beautiful and clean. The location was amazing. Steps away from the beach with an amazing view from the balcony. The lake balcony in the back was very serene. The unit could use a few more cooking pans and pot holders. Other than that, perfection with a priceless view!

First, the location was great being directly across the street from the beach. The lake behind the unit was fun too with feeding turtles. Now the inside of the unit is a different story. First, it appeared as if it had a quick clean at best done. There was hair on the bed sheets, cobwebs in the corners, and different broken plug outlets. After buying products to clean, we wanted to shower. That is when the problems started. The shower in the bedroom only had really cold water, no hot water at all. The extra shower, while also freezing cold had NO water pressure. The water was just dripping out of the shower head. After contacting the customer service number, I was told it would be fixed but there was not an ETA. Not having hot water for showers, especially after being at the beach and pool was going to be an issue. All night we waited to hear when it would be fixed and never did. The next morning I reached out again and was told the “local office” would call me soon. After a nearly 2 hour wait I called the customer service number back and was then told I could be refunded, which we took thankfully. As we were getting back to the unit to get our stuff out for a new hotel, we saw ServPro arrive. Instead of them being there to fix the water heater, we observed them cut out a section of the wall (maybe 4 ft by 4 ft) that was COVERED in black mold. There was also furniture in the unit we could see that was covered with plastic, so knowing that we slept above a unit infested with black mold and it must have been known and not relayed to us is extremely frustrating. Definitely would not recommend this company to anybody.

Condo at Destiny Beach

The views were spectacular, the location is good, and the condo was sunny and full of light with a nice layout. However, the kitchen was inadequately supplied with dishes, etc. and the front of the refrigerator had rust spots. Also, the condo furnishings need to be refreshed, the chair cushions and rugs are dirty, the bed linens didn't fit and are worn, and the bed pillows were disgusting. It looked clean on the surface, however, there was a funky smell in the stairway as you walked in door and the bins around the bed to store our clothes were dusty. The property needs to be better maintained. The strike plate of the entrance lockset was inadequately secured to the frame of the door, a potential security issue. Also, the faucet in the bathroom leaked. When trying to use the TV/Streaming service, the instructions were incorrect, and when we spoke to the property management people, they did not seem to know what type of service they were dealing with.

Great location, poor amenities

Unfortunately most of the previous visitors left their disappointing reviews in the Guest book and not online. Here's what you need to know. GREAT LOCATION but not a typical VRBO property. No welcome package, no amenities like coffee, coffee filters, water bottles, salt and pepper, etc. Not a drop of food in the house. No welcome package, nada. If you get there late at night, you are out of luck. Also, we needed the heat to be on, and it was on a timer repeatedly throughout the day and night that changed it to 65 degrees. We called the property company and they sent a "property manager" who did not know how to fix it. We also needed more blankets and the property manager brought one flimsy blanket. There were no blankets provided for the other beds, which fortunately we did not need but would have been a problem if we did. Also, all the instructions in the property were generic and not at all helpful for the specific unit. Several reviews in the guest book included people saying that they left additional kitchen tools as the equipment provided was minimal. The great location made it worthwhile, but the property management team needs to be provide more support and amenities.

Huge disappointment!

We stayed at the Destiny Beach Villa 6a in Destin, Florida. The condition of the villa It was not clean. We noticed a stain on the bed sheets and the pillows smelled. We spent an hour and a half at the laundromat and another $20 cleaning. Other issues included: ‱ When we arrived, there were still dishes in the dishwasher. ‱ The outlet in the master bath did not work. ‱ The blinds in the living room fell down when trying to open the blinds using the blind cords. ‱ There were holes in the screens letting in bugs which we had to patch with tape. ‱ The entrance stunk. We tried everything to get rid of the horrible smell but to no avail it stunk the whole time we stayed there. ‱ The dryer filter bin was filled with sand and lint causing the dryer to take forever to dry clothes, and making full insertion of the filter difficult. We emptied the bin which was filled with 2 in. of sand and lint and spend an hour removing all the debris. ‱ The floor in the living area looked and felt like it was never mopped but only vacuumed. ‱ There were some indications of mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers. ‱ The free YouTube Live channel did not work because the previous tenant logged out, which they were not supposed to. We were later given the login info but after a couple of weeks the channel and Roku again needed a login and password to view any channels. We only had the free TV stations to watch which was not much. ‱ The TV remote did not work, even though fresh batteries were installed. We contacted the operations manager a second time but he never responded. We called the operations manager. He fixed the blinds that had fallen with a temporary fix. We still had to open and close each blade manually. He never came back to attach a rod in order to easily open and close the blinds. He did fix the outlet in the master bedroom. We tried to get a hold of Vacassa (the property management firm) but Vacassa had a recording saying the number was temporarily suspended. We tried contacting the operations manager to resolve these issues but he did not respond. It is our understanding, via an email issued by VRBO, that VRBO has granted a full refund for those who had to cancel their vacation plans. As a result, because of these unresolved issues and the coronavirus scare making our stay unpleasant, it was necessary to leave a week early. We expect, due to these circumstances and the condition of the villa, that we are entitled to a partial refund.

Nice location right across from the beach

Easy walk to the beach, and our kids enjoyed all the turtles in the back lake. The unit was a decent 3 stars. All of the blinds need replacing. Location is 5 stars.
